Knee replacement is a very common problem in people and mostly occurs in old age. Knee replacement might appear like a scary procedure to people, which is why a lot of people live with their joint problems rather than getting their knees replaced, however, the doctor tells us that knee replacement is a very simple and safe procedure. A lot of times people suffer from very high pain in their knees but they just simply ignore it which is not ideal as very effective treatment options like knee replacement are available. Knee replacement is done when the upper layer of the bone of the knee joint gets damaged or rough. The doctor also tells us that surgery isn’t the only treatment, the treatment modality depends on the condition of the knee and how damaged is the joint. If the layers are not much damaged then the treatment could be done through medicines and therapy.
Some of the most common factors which can lead to a knee replacement are an unhealthy lifestyle, lifting heavy weight, lack of calcium in daily diet, and exercise. To prevent knee replacement people, have to live a healthier life such as proper nutrition, exercise, calcium tablets, multivitamins, and try not to lift heavyweight.

Mera abhi march 2024 mein both TKR hua. Bahut dard hota hai. Raatbhar nind nahi aati. Knee ke niche leg me burning sensation hota hai. Totally cure kabtak hote hai patient.?

It is not true that there is no pain after 4-6 weeks. I had my To knee replacement surgery 6 weeks ago and there is pain but it is much less before. The pain will continue for a longer duration upto 6 months to an year but it is bearable with mild analgesics.
Sir my mother got knee replacement surgery 3 days back, pls tell me what should I have to take care of, even after 3 days my mom is walking with very very difficulty.
Don't worry. With physiotherapy and medicines her pain will minimise. Two months back I had TKR. Now I can walk properly without any support.

I have gone through surgery last 3 months back at PGI Chandigarh now I am walking without support since last four weeks with bearable pain ....it will remain atleast 6 months..... dear if the patient is living with unbearable pain, taking pain killer continuesly then moov ....it is successful.after surgery exercise is necessary kyuki surgeon ne Jo part ghis gya tha change kr diya but maintain toh khu Krna padta h otherwise stiffness rahegi.
