In the way I am showing the shifting it could, but the reason it won't for most seniors golfers is they turn the lead elbow down in the downswing instead of having the elbow up and working around the body. When the elbow is up through the swing it syncs with the body's rotation more efficiently.
For seniors and every human being, it is impossible to know where are hands are in space once the DS begins to impact. Less than 1/4 second is simply to short a period of time to know where hands are in space not to mention, send signals to muscles to contract-relax during less than 1/4 second. No time (less than 1/4 second) to think about "pulling rope" from three different positions during the DS. Very funny thought. Ben Hogan used the loosest joints in the body... the scapula (left and right) to generate 15 degrees of so called shoulder turn in BS and then in DS.
Your conscious mind does not track your hands in space when hands are moving faster than nerves and neurons can activate and react. Does take a Phd in physiology to know reaction time. Why do the starters for olympic races consider 100milliseconds fastest reaction time for fair start? They know it is not humanly possible to react any faster.@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan
"How do we make this work in the downswing?" he said at exactly the same time as I was thinking "How do we make this work with a golf club and not a pretend skipping rope?"
Your swing thoughts really clarifies the swing!
👍
This might be the best instruction on RUclips
Thank You.

How does this fit with the takeaway video? Won’t this bring the club inside.?
No, not the clubhead, only the hands.
Cool video but can u explain it with a club in ur hand. ?
Hi Joe, I will add that into the next video, part 2 that will be coming this week weekend as a recap.

See for yourselves how Ben Hogan used his scapula.
"now isnt that simple? Anyone can do that"

Good luck to you Mikal. Fully disagree with you. Your brain will always know where your hands are. Think about that.

You need to watch the other senior video.

Looks like Chicago.
Thanks for senior help from the Geritol Gang.
👌
Do mean like pulling a lawnmower handle?
Could be interpreted that way, I guess.
That's a Mike Austin drill.
