- I stepped on some nails with my new Nike air max shoes the other day. I got to thinking how I could fix them instead of throwing them away. It might work if you put a little bit more in it and shake the shoe itself when you install fix a flat in a tire it tells you to drive at least I think five miles something like that because you have to get it all the way around and properly seal the hole puncher
Ok I’ll keep that in mind. I noticed with the right side shoe, the puncture sealed up good because I shaked up the can for 30 seconds.

Clear silicone is the best to use works every time

Did it work? I’m about to start a similar project and this one doesn’t seem to be that crazy (except for the potential mess 🤣) but I’m not that sure I like the silicone mess either.
The fix was very temporary. I did an update to this video. I ended up taking it to Nike and they gave me a gift certificate which I used to get another brand new pair.

@@PAPERWEIGHTPRODUCTIONS I had the shoes for a few months. I don’t know the exact timeline of the warranty. You may be able to find that on Nike’s website.

No it only worked temporarily
Just did this, but I filled it from the hole inside and found out where the original nail hole was at.
It worked😂😂😂 the foam did go away after a while
Quick note tho. I had to remove the little thing that presses in on the valve stem for the ball pump thing to fit

Haha it was a mess 🤣 I hope it works for a while. I put some gorilla glue and duct tape over the hole on the shoe to make it sealed off.
Next time shake the bottle really really well and I probably would have used can air in a tire plug kit

I was really really careful with mine .. I walk only on concrete, I didn't go trough bushes or planks ... and they still got a leak in the edge where they were glued in... so stupid, honestly I am really really disappointed.. I bought expensive shoes and they didn't even make it for a year... I cant say that I will ever buy Airmax again....
Yes, the air max shoes look cool, but the long term durability just doesn’t look like it holds up.
You need to come out with clear fix a flat for shoes.

It's better to have an exploded Air Max than to make these Nike's heavy as bricks and with soles as hard as concrete.

Make sure the connection at the can and nozzle is secure and I think if it didn’t explode at that point and it was more secure it would have worked also put a little sticky tar To seal the hole on the bottom of the shoe until the fix a flat dries hmmmm I think you are on to something
