Right. You could get a bespoke custom made oxford from a renowned shoemaker for less than that. Hell throw on some crocodile for the leather and it'll be like 10-14k. These are shoes that cost what they cost because of the labor and materials put into them, so they hold their value no matter what unless you absolutely abuse them. Plus they can be refurbished easily for a price, and will last you a lifetime, and look way nicer than any sneakers But hey a hobby is a hobby. Not every expense is practical.
