Still, they accepted the return without much trouble despite it being outside that window, and that's why I'll stay a customer.

Ok toodleloo I am leaving now hehehe". Quite frankly, it should not be stockx' complete responsibility to make sure people aren't selling fakes. That should be on the sellers themselves. I know that if I am sold something fake with my hard earned moneu I am not complacent enough to walk away from it and will see it through the seller be jailed and I be compensated. In other words, youtubers whom were once... well they aren't on RUclips anymore as they are banned but there were pranksters and others trying to sell fakes on youtube and not only were their channels taken down and they forced to pay a lot of money, they faced some serious charges from harming other people and simply selling fakes. Honestly, being a casual, if I see a pair of almost exactly-replicated Yeezys or Jordan 1s for like 1/3 of the price, I don't understand why I shouldn't buy it
I think the reason why they may be getting rejected is because its a new account selling its first pair of shoes. There is probably a good chance in their algorithm that they will scrutinize way more heavily on a new account than one that has sold multiple pairs of real shoes
Should send out both one original and one fake from the same address and the same time. I think that could test either their ability to distinguish real/fake, and what their protocol is if someone who has already had legit history tries to send in fakes.
I think for the complainers out there, this is a sign that StockX is way better than you think at authentication. Also no place is fake proof, some are bound to get through which is unfortunate but doesn’t make the whole company trash.
I remember when $60 was high dollar for Nike shoes. When I can't walk into a licensed dealer and purchase REAL shoes there's a problem and I won't even begin to discuss how expensive shoes are today
These shoes especially Jordan’s are only expensive because of the hype around it. The demand for Jordan’s are higher as a result of the hype. Therefore the people who do have supply of these shoes in the secondary market will increase the prices.

so that's why people are selling shoes for extremely cheap on eBay? that bums me because I sell real shoes there since they have no fees and they might ruin the whole program
When you make these accounts do you have a VPN and keep the same IP until after you sell them to yourself? Because there's a good chance they can look at the IP address and see the accounts under it, and how they both have a failed attempt to get shoes through verification and that might be part of the issue. The reason you have to have consistent IP addresses is because otherwise they can tell you're using a VPN from it changing so regularly. I think to test this you should try selling the real pair of that same shoe that you tried to sell to yourself and see what happens.
You should've not only did the black light test to look for stamps but also if your sending and receiving addresses are the same then that'd be a red flag to stock x. I'd try to mail them to a friend.

It’s surprising to me that shoe manufacturers don’t have some type of serial number or code that states where they were made, when, by who, etc etc. If something like that existed, anyone with a fake pair of shoes wouldn’t know about it and their tag/code wouldn’t jive with official records and therefore fail authentication. For shoes that are $50 I guess it wouldn’t matter but for shoes over $100 it would make sense for them to do this.

Let me tell you a story real fast . So basically a friend of mine bought a pair of Y350 Yecheil on StockX, and at first they looked good but a bit odd (sizing was different from my retail yeezys, and they felt a bit different on feet) . So I told him to bring them and that I'll have a closer look. While looking closely, the box was not the one associated with his shoes (not the same serial number). I found out that they were fake while using the black light . I think that someone just bought a retail and a fake pair , he threw the fakes in the real box and voilà ! I don't acutally think that they always take off the insoles to check with the UV light/check the smallest details on common models like this one, especially if it's the end of the day or something .

Apparently Nike moved their workshop from China and left a lot of the mouldings and designs for the shoes at the factory along with the original employees making it easier for bootlegs and sometimes even better quality than the real ones.
Its even worse. The same factories that make the originals also make the fakes. The only reason why anyone can tell that they are fake is the people ordering the fakes use different quality materials so save money on the cost.
@@mjriemen That isn't true at all. The major counterfeit producers are PK and LJR. Both of which are their own factories. If the fakes were made in the same factory with the same materials with the same equipment, they'd pass an LC.
You need to make sure the UV passes as well. A lot of hype sneakers have a UV tag and if its not there, it wont pass stockx verification, even authentic sneakers that have the UV taken off due to being sold early, aka pre-release, don't pass authentication
I read a book that explained knock offs. In it they said the best fakes are made in the same factories and the same workers as the original. Criminals offer them well paid overtime to stay at night making the same trainers they make in the day.
@@vmirevi Nike representatives ordered shoes from StockX specifically a pair or Patent Bred 1s that were fake so there may be an investigation or lawsuit
Regardless of how they catch and how good your fakes are honestly i think what your doing for those resell buyers it’s a good thing.Building up their authentication team to be better and smarter is good,Thanks man!
StockX could have some really good tech that can scan the exact shape of molded parts like the sole, or sample the material the sole is made out of, etc.
So often the little things you dont expect are the things that makes shoe pass or not. Like little text on a sticker on a box or a few wrong stitches inside a sneaker. Its extremely rare to find a replica sneaker that would be 1:1. Though there are reps that have 1:1 outside and shape but inside will 99% fail.
To get the shoes to pass 1: Make sure the stitching of the shoe is identical to the real ones 2: Make sure the stitching glows under a UV light 3: Check the box for Chinese factory stamps (using a UV light) try and remove these stamps. 4: Look for paint marks or water marks on the sole of the shoes 5: Last one look for glue marks using a UV light I've never sold reps online but I just know how to check if fakes are fakes.
The same thing applies to store brands. I learned in business school that there is a period in the run where it is more economical to just sell at a lower price during certain runs which is normally packaged as store brand. It is technically the same as the brand name.
The dunks didn’t pass the authentication because they didn’t have the size stickers. The paper also might have effected it. You should retry the same dunks, but transfer the stickers snd papers.
@@gangsterghost6943 I keep seeing you comment stuff about “UA”. There’s no such thing as “UA”. They’re all just reps from China, same place the real ones come from. Sometimes the same factory. You didn't weigh the fakes and compare it with the legit ones. However, real box+fake nike passed stockxx authentification test which tell a lot about stockxx supposedly guarrentees...

When you make these accounts do you have a VPN and keep the same IP until after you sell them to yourself? Because there's a good chance they can look at the IP address and see the accounts under it, and how they both have a failed attempt to get shoes through verification and that might be part of the issue. So I told him to bring them and that I'll have a closer look. While looking closely, the box was not the one associated with his shoes (not the same serial number). I found out that they were fake while using the black light . I think that someone just bought a retail and a fake pair , he threw the fakes in the real box and voilà !

2: Make sure the stitching glows under a UV light
3: Check the box for Chinese factory stamps (using a UV light) try and remove these stamps.
4: Look for paint marks or water marks on the sole of the shoes
5: Last one look for glue marks using a UV light
