Why would they be? This kit makes less tq than the stage 1 whipple kit while pushing more boost to do so... VMP also has a great comparison of the gen 6 vs an Odin single inlet that shows the gen 6 makes more power when both are at an equal 12 psi. Not just peak - everywhere.
I doubt Whipple's worried about anything except how they'll keep up with all the new orders.
So I guess it's just a coincidence VMP released their video the day before the Roush unveiling? Someone is definitely worried that they no longer have complete control of the market for the S650.@@coreyschuette4897

I'm soooooo happy right now... I was worried we wouldn't get to see a new Roush. After seeing what Steve did with the S650 Saleen. I had high hopes for Roush....and now it's here..I get really giddy shouting ever special variat mustang on the roads when I see them. 🚗💨😎

Will this blower make it over to the F-150 with a single throttle body setup? I’d much rather have peace of mind with all the cooling help this provides compared to the current 2650 y’all offer for the S550 and F-150. Plus the lid looks way better than the traditional Roush blowers!

I got a 2016 one if these in the 727hp package made 598whp with a manual so less transmission loss. Fortunately, with a fuel system and a real tune, we were able to get it up to about 730 at the wheel, but I had to spend another several thousand dollars.

1/4 mile times won't be accurate until real world people get the kit and actually run it on the supplied tune and pump gas. 13psi screams knock retard on pump gas so be ready for more boostane runs.

And thank god it’s a 2650 and not the 3100. Small blower will whip up faster and rob less hp. Same reason I never went to a 2650 and kept my 2300 on my 5.0. Bigger ain’t always better.
You should drive a 2300 TVS car vs a 2650 one even. Bet you think the 2300 feels faster.

Put an Odin on your RS3, same blower but S550 compatible.
Remember kids, this is behind the balls power numbers. Don't cry when you toss it on a dyno. This option will be great for low end torque and the signature sound, though.
Exactly. They are releasing this kit with 13psi on pump gas which is way too high and they are still only rating it at 810hp so 680whp-ish.
@@freak_5.042 I saw that lol. They mentioned 13 psi on their site and I also thought that was a bit high for pump gas without use of octane booster. Didn't see anything about big enough injectors for E85, either lol.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy Yup. I mean, 680whp is solid numbers and nothing wrong with that but in my opinion it isn't going to be any different then what was already delivered with the Odin. It's the exact same 🤷 and I have nothing against the Odin 👍
@@freak_5.042 I just went back and watched National Speed's S550 Odin video and it made 740 whp on 93, but they did have long tubes. However, they list the Odin as twin 69mm vmp throttle bodies, as were the Roush says they use the stock twin 80mm throttle bodies, so maybe this unit will move some more air. I guess we will see once some people start testing them but at least there's more options coming out.
