sorry but i think Conrad was lowkey high when he said people back during the network era "weren't watching the older stuff they're just watching the new stuff" because in the PG era when the network was launched, I'm pretty sure the older stuff was much preferred with fans than the current product of that time 🤣
I thought that too because i watched mostly old but a company like this is going to have massive amounts of analytics showing exactly what is being watched.
I originally purchased the network because of the archive and it's still mainly what I use it for now. I hope that the archive doesn't go away under the Netflix deal.

She was an employee, given a bullshit title. He hired a desperate woman and pretty much hired her to be his personal escort. people who say things like that also likely believe victims have a significant amount of power. @@QurVgn that’s pro wrestling for you. They’ll bitch about anything that they think might affect them because they’re creepy towards women. Everyone claims to be against sexual abuse but not everyone practices what they preach.
@@andrewvaughan5686 How can anyone not be shocked and horrified at this? I honestly feel Vince needs to go to prison for this. As well as getting the Chris Benoit removal from the world of pro wrestling. Everything he did with building wwf it is all overshadowed by these horrible events. No amount of money can take away the harm he caused.
Conrad and Eric thank you for speaking out so honestly and openly about abuse . As a male survivor of sexual abuse it was very hard to get help. Thank you for not shaking it off or making it a joke .
A lot of people, like myself, don't speak on things they don't fully understand or have all the information on. I know the internet likes to think it knows all but that is simply bul. People really should learn to be silent sometimes.
First of all, thank you to Eric and Conrad for taking the time to refer to the primary victim as well as the secondary victims in the close family, friends, and associates of both the victim, Vince himself, and the WWE. It's important to call out evil and those devastated by it. Eric's point about feeling so disjointed by this to the point of wanting to walk away for good has been on my mind as a fan lately. How does anyone ever again refer to a single moment in time without reference to Vince McMahon? He's potentially the single most integral figure i can think of any industry ever. I cannot think of another industry that has ever revolved around one individual as much as pro wrestling has Vince. Every podcast, every book, every documentary, and every film of the last 40 - 50 years that has been made or will be made about the industry will, by necessity, have him as a central or key figure. We have to decide if we continue to be ok with that. If we aren’t, Vince hasn't just burned his personal reputation and legacy to the ground, left WWE's legacy devastated, and ruined the lives of this woman (and likely others), he's napalmed the history of the business.
I think that you can still enjoy WWE without directly enjoying Vince McMahon. There are several other people involved in the production of the show. Writers, wrestlers, production. of course Vince is a prolific figure in professional wrestling. There is also Stephanie, Shane, HHH. I think the more concerning part is the idea that other staff members may have been complicit, while some stories are disturbing, I'm sure there are people who were scared of losing their jobs and financial instability. It's a very nuanced conversation and this will definitely have a long lasting impact on professional wrestling, especially this women's brave decision to make her name public in the case, which I think aids her credibility. I think this will open the doors for other people to come forward and hopefully get some kind of justice.
Such a disgusting, sad, horrific, shameful, unfortunate nightmare going on. Even more unfortunate is that it’s hard to think Vince is innocent, not only are these allegations things he’s been accused of before, but some of these things have been hinted at in his character on television publicly
I'm not sure how are people considering the women innocent when she signed such a horrible deal with Vince. Sure things went out of hand. Vince is definitely a horrible person but calling Janel a victim is also crap. She knew Vince's intentions from day 1 and agreed to it and now blames Vince. Women💀
Entering a knowing and consensual sexual relationship is not the same thing as allegedly being raped and being passed around like a cigarette in a 1950s bar
@@isaacs.9383 she wasn't his wife or girlfriend. What do you expect? It was more of a prostitute contract. Even passing around may have been in the clause. If not, it's still a prostitute contract.
@@afdcg i would agree with that comment. I do also believe they had some sort of consensual master slave relationship behind closed doors and Vince’s girl to plaything to a closer circle and Vince’s girlfriend to others. There are some extreme bdsm play where the guys agreed to do all of this to the mistresses they serve except the money goes to the mistresses. I wonder if they had an actual contract for this. I guess we will find out. Her role was like the gimp from Pulp Fiction. There could have been a clause that she would be shared around. I do feel that the extreme sex was probably having an effect on her mentally and physically and but as long as he was getting paid she was enduring it. When she didn’t get paid the rest of her money is when it was leaked. We know about the women that worked for the company. There could be other women he did this to that didn’t work for the company. But hired escorts. But I don’t think Vince liked sharing or too professional at their jobs he liked new ones that he could control. Vince wanted to have someone to use and abuse. What made her a victim. That’s all my speculation.
Patiently waiting for something to wrestle with but this was a very good conversation. I honestly see Bruce calling the episode off this week and throwing us a BEST OF episode. I cant say the same about Eric he kept it 100. 💯

@afdcg not a lot of people want to say it. But she isn't a babe in the woods who was completely innocent in all of this. What kind of job did she think she was qualified to do at WWE? Clean the toilets? Her job was to be Vince's girlfriend. That's the only job she ever served for 3 years and that's exactly what she was paid for.
From what I've read Vince has creeped on her since day one of her being hired. At what point is she accountable, she allowed/put up with it for 3 years
I think more will come out. I listened to Madusa talk about Tammy Sytch/Sunny on her podcast about her arrest/sentencing, and Madusa alluded to this kind of behavior going on when she was there, and she alluded to Sunny “having things happen to her” beyond her affair with HBK and X-PAC pooping in her food.
And the Bella's (his step daughters) putting out a statement saying shit like there horrified about the recent stuff coming out about the wwe like jesus christ you're mums husband is literally a main part of it..
If someone tries to turn this into something that can be criminally prosecuted which is totally up to the jurisdiction(s) involved Johnny Ace will be the rat.
Fair point. Never said sable was a saint i'm just trying to point out how bad this looks for brock. Conrad made it seem like brock would just go home and never be heard from again, but this affects his family given his wife's past history with the company, and since brock was allegedly a direct recipient of the alleged trafficking this can't be going down well at the lesnar family.
VKM will NEVER be in the WWE Hall of Fame..If a time traveler came back in time and told you that future reality you would think they were as insane as Vince's text messages.
this may explain some of the storylines that we had in the attitude era. For example, Austin has a gun storyline where Mr McMahon urinated himself in the middle of the ring (all in the name of ratings). Perhaps the reality is we were just dealing with a sick man who was able to express himself through the TV character Mr McMahon
Eric put this perfectly, it honestly made me feel ashamed of being a WWE fan for nearly 30 years, all the money as fans we have all spent on PPV's, merchandise, attending live events...we have all contributed in some way to making McMahon a billionaire and this is how he has behaving and how many victims has there been over the years just thinking about it makes me sick

No he doesn’t. You people and this damn cancel culture. So wtf you think they do, erase anything, any storyline, etc., that had Vince in it??? That’s ridiculous.
1:18:40 I disagree Eric, this story broke (whether true or not) to get Vince out of the picture period. The only thing you will probably hear about is the outcome of the settlement
To anyone surprised by this. Just look at wwe programming over the years. -The objectification of women (the Trish-dog segment) -the abuse of power (kiss my ass club) -the numerous shit jokes (dx dumping poop on Vince and Shane)
@buffynaturalTV I think your definitions of 'consent' and 'agreed to do it' are pretty muddled and slightly scary, to be honest. I assume you think Harvey Weinstein is a totally innocent and swell guy, then? I mean the actresses 'agreed' to sleep with him, right? Not like he had power and coercion over them *cough cough* and promised to better their careers *cough cough* Guarantee this woman is just the tip of the iceberg. Dominos are going to fall.
Anybody involved with Vince directly is likely screwed. TKO will vet ,filter, and flush all directly or indirectly involved. The question is if Paul Levesque, Stephanie, or people like that enabled or knew about it and turned the blind eye. No wonder Shane wanted to be his own man.
Rumors are that Stephanie looked into things herself and That is why she left the company when Vince came back. Likewise the falling out with Shane was apparently over some stuff. How true that is IDK. I think Triple H didn't know anything at least no more than what Stephanie knew.
I think Paul only had some knowledge. Meaning this was Vince’s girl, and plaything and perhaps nothing more. Maybe behind close doors with Stephanie did they realize a little more but not too much and didn’t want Vince back. That’s all my speculation though. John L knew a lot more.
I feel like Vince is so rich, he loss touch with reality, he loss any sense of morality, this was disgusting and depraved things he did to this woman and the fact he had yes man letting this happen is insane. He should be locked up for what he did, as well as his accomplices.

@@afdcg Sir I investigated these type of predators for decades. They all follow the same MO. and Vince is no different. The Nondisclosure Agreement he used is a form of control and manipulation, not a prostitute deal. These predators use manipulation to take their victims voice and power from them. Then they groom them towards this behavior, and in my thirty-five years putting away these scumbags, I know what I am talking about.
As a grown-up man I'll always have more respect for Vince McMahon who worked himself in a position where he can make his messed up fantasies come true even if it costs him millions of dollars than for a 41 year old manchild who's still a virgin and is unable to get laid despite having billions of daddy's cash to spend, throwing twitter tantrums like a teenager and seeking approval from strangers on the internet. There, I said it!
The delusion that he was going to get away with it all leads me to suspect the 80's and 90's cases were true as well and he got away with because you don't reach that level of confidence and delusional mindset and start forming those patterns of behaviour without previously getting away with it and thinking you are invincible
There’s help out there, but talking about it in rehabs and with various CBT therapists, hasn’t helped my situation. Years later since opening up, I feel worse that so many ppl know about my struggles
Bret Hart didn't "refuse to do the job" he refused to do it to Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series. He offered to drop the title to other people or surrender it on Raw in Ottawa the following Monday. HBK was the issue not The Hit Man.
How badly does Vince regret selling to Endeavor? If he had never done that, he would still have majority voting power and despite these allegations, he would still be there. Conrad said that WWE is going to have to white wash the name McMahon. It’s unfortunate, but true. Shane and Stephanie will have to save the legacy of the McMahon name.
But there is one thing so manly about honing your very own straight razor, taking the time to go up the progression in each of my Japanese whetstones , then stropping it on my horse hide leather strop, lathering up my badger brush in quality artisan shave soap that has tallow, all the different types of oils, butters and skin food that really make it easy to start off the day on a good note. It's really zen like and soothing, for that time I'm at peace. Shaving this way really turns into a hobby and it makes something that we used to look at as a chore , really rewarding and enjoyable
@@zakkmylde1712that's just one stroyline/match. AEW has run ins and false finishes for every match on the card. Whether you are a top guy, Midcarder or lower carder they all do the same thing.
Not quite . He was served up as a patsy / pathetic offering from Vince . As everyone sexual predator , Vince had / has numerous people can offer up to try and limit his own punishment .
No excuse. No excuse at all. It is sick , but couldn’t she have just left and not taken any money and then charged him? Sorry if this offends anyone. It is an honest question.
Bret and Shawn are two of the business' most accomplished marks. I think it's part of what made them great because they took what they did so seriously. But it has its drawbacks, like the childishness leading up to Survivor Series 1997.
The thing with Vince returning to WWE pre-sale to Endeavor, H³, Stephanie, Nick Khan, and a few others all voted against his return. He leveraged his majority shareholder power to force himself back, overriding their veto. Now, what I, as a long time fan and do have a legal background, don't understand is how and why Vince was able to get an EC role with TKO, despite what was ongoing with the other allegations. They KNEW that was going on, and yet Emmanuel still made him Executive Chair? THAT makes zero sense to me, because they HAD to know this was going to happen.
They’re dropping this late, and just need to make clear to everyone demanding Vince talk that no new content has been created since the scandal leaked, so the short clips you’re seeing from past episodes took place prior to the news. This will be up to date and you can guarantee they will discuss it. So crazy how people threaten to unsubscribe and spam CAPS LOCK demanding something without even thinking it through.
This was an outstanding take by both Eric and Conrad and they are 100% right. The ultimate irony too is that even though Vince may never face any criminal penalties for this - even though he should - being excommunicated from the company he founded is almost a fate worse than prison or even death to Vince. Anyone who studies him knows that he has no known hobbies and is the ultimate workaholic who thrives on being in control and in power - of which he now has neither. So in a way he is getting a just punishment because he's now had the one thing he loves the most and depending on what you believe the only thing he truly loves (controlling WWE) taken from him. Vince can write checks until infinity to make things go away but even if he does it here, the stain will live for the rest of his life on his legacy. And it should.
To be honest, if the story is true, how do people want to be associated with the WWE in any way? Its next level horrific. Surely a full scale rebrand by TKO would be needed? The McMahons at the very least are a tainted name if this is true. Still waiting to hear other side of the story but even if only somehow partially true, horrendous.
Probably not. Why should he? And if any of those women that vince passed money to do all this nasty things were my daughter id be more than dissappointed in them
@@fiftytwo_KG Glad you put it that way because the parents of the accuser had recently died when she met Vince. Also, she was vulnerable and started to look at Vince as a friend because he said he would change her life by giving her a job with WWE and then took advantage of her vulnerability and trust.
It's not that Bret Hart didn't want to do the job on his way out, he didn't want to jon to someone that had no respect. Bret has stated MANY times that he told Shawn Michael's that he had nothing to worry about, that he was in good hand. HBK replied with tjay he couldn't say the same for Bret. Bret had no issue with losing BEFORE that, but when HBK said that stupid comment, Bret decided he didn't want to lose....but he had a reason for it and it was a valid reason.
“I hope they settle and she takes a check” no. I hope they go through with this and get rid of anyone that deserves to be fired. I can’t imagine an offer they could give her that she would accept, because she will get more from the trial and it will be an important lawsuit in the history of abuse in the workplace. This is a significant moment that needs to be handled properly not by closed doors.
I find it odd that people who are closer to this situation are more surprised by these allegations than I am as a fan. And those closest to Vince are the quietest of all. I'm glad that this has come out, i doubt we'll hear much more from this particular incident because I'm sure they will settle but i hope that this will encourage any other victims to speak out and I hope TKO cleans house of all the stooges who have enabled Vince for all these years.

Vince is fucked up but to be honest so is she. 2 years means you have thought on it and decided you didn’t like what happened in the past. You can retroactively say it’s rape.
My question is.....why did she STAY in the situation? She had the million, so she wasn't without money.... she barely had a job at WWE and it was not her life long dream to work there. WHY STAY??? There is SO much more to this. The information we have is probably one paragraph, on page one.... there are thousands of pages to come.
I agree. I’m not defending Vince, as he clearly is a depraved man if even half of what he is accused of his true. He asked this woman to do terrible things, and did so according to the accusations. But, there is a difference between “do this sex act for me, and I’ll give you money” and “bitch, you are gonna do this, or I will ruin your career. Now here is some money and shut up about it”. One is a bit more of a pimp and prostitute situation, and the other is Harvey Weinstein style. If Vince is the latter, throw the book at him, if he’s the former, it’s a bit different of a situation, even as disgusting as the sexual acts were. As far as people saying “she was vulnerable”. I can sympathize with that, but lots of people are vulnerable and sleep around while being so. Does that mean these people they slept with are all sexual predators?
@@metallifreak100 I am not defending him either... too many things have been said over the years. This went on for two years and she STAYED, knowing what it was... why did she not leave after the first forced incident? There is so much more to this, than we may EVER truly know.
We now let the Ring boy scandal come to light again while the motor of the car is in high gear. Question for Eric you have a daughter and a grand daughter would you have wanted to see McMahon treat your daughter or grand daughter like he treated Jenel.

Jim Cornette himself is a freak in private and probably shares a lot of similarities with Vince as far as the perversion goes with the sex toys, scatting, voyeurism, gang banging, etc.

While Cornette and Last made the mistake of reacting to this real time, and completely dropped the ball. Brilliant discussion.
I agree. I was disappointed in Cornette’s reaction with giggling like an 11-year-old boy at the “dirty parts” and doing some victim shaming, while Eric (and Dutch Mantel) had mature takes with this serious situation.

I love how everyone is to shit scared to bring up brock lesnars name or he’s family 🤣
😂
The delusion that he was going to get away with it all leads me to suspect the 80's and 90's cases were true as well and he got away with because you don't reach that level of confidence and delusional mindset and start forming those patterns of behaviour without previously getting away with it and thinking you are invincible
I think it's safe to say that this episode will have a lot to unpack.
83 weeks absolutely rules! Love, love this show E. B is fantastic. Keep it going fellas.!!
Eric telling like it is, Vince McMahon at the same level as Chris Benoit never to be talk about it
How is paying someone for sex the same as murdering your family?
@@XposinDundee He shit on someone's head and forced them not to clean it up
There’s help out there, but talking about it in rehabs and with various CBT therapists, hasn’t helped my situation. Years later since opening up, I feel worse that so many ppl know about my struggles
And Vince loves to "Screw" people and create "Screw jobs" well if Vince goes to prison, the word "Screw" would have a whole new meaning.
Good one hulkster!
Bret Hart didn't "refuse to do the job" he refused to do it to Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series. He offered to drop the title to other people or surrender it on Raw in Ottawa the following Monday. HBK was the issue not The Hit Man.
I could listen eric bischoff talk for hours
What a legend eric is
Eric is the man 🔥
conrads rocking makes me feel sea sick
I appreciate the tact and the care w which u handled the topic guys! Thank u!
He knew what was coming and saved the company by selling. Doesn't clean the slait but he did what he had to so WWE would have separation
I wish AEW would cut out 60 percent of the false finishes, and 60 percent of the run in attacks. Let it breathe please.
Thr same could be said about WWE. The Bloodline run ins especially, every universal title match has had the same finish for 3 years and some change.
@@zakkmylde1712that's just one stroyline/match. AEW has run ins and false finishes for every match on the card. Whether you are a top guy, Midcarder or lower carder they all do the same thing.
This has to be so embarrassing for linda wow
OH SHIT!
She's still a pollie.
Right?
She's too busy lobbying American hegemony to care, which is crazy as hell lol
Vince had voting rights. Johnny Ace didn’t. That’s why vince stayed.
Y'all are being disingenuous. Brett didn't want to lose because Shawn Michael said he was not going to put Bret Hart over. Y'all are full of crap.
This is Vince's Scorsese Moment, where everything falls apart all at once.
Vince is still there. He just won't be mention or be on wwe. Come on now Netflix deal, slim Jim 😂
I completely agree, though as a figurehead, the Rock, should be the face of TKO-WWE, particularly with all this Vince drama
It literally says that's what they are talking about in the description though.
Sssshhhhhhhhhh 🤫... 83 Weeks is on!
Also, Please stop speaking like you're running the content 👍
Let'em go... don't need people like that around anyway
Just informing sir.@@FiveNumberJonny
Bischoff looks strikingly like Lex Luthor now.
Hes not making any more hair bets...... until the next time
😂😂 you ain’t Lying, he looks busted up here lol and thinks he ‘s GQ
Holy shit Eric, you were so good in that Henson razors promo that now I have to doubt anything else you say. Amazing acting 👏
The hell with just wanting this to go away..........Vince needs to be held accountable!
Why are you assuming he's guilty?
I consider this a win for WCW.
Connie is just like every mark on Twitter. Can’t process a negative comment about AEW without bringing up WWE
It wouldn't surprise me if Conrad cuts ties with Prichard since there is no way he didn't know about what Vince was doing.
He makes too much money with Bruce and this guy is all about the money
Prichard definitely knew.
@@themightychinfulyou don't know that
It's not that Bret Hart didn't want to do the job on his way out, he didn't want to jon to someone that had no respect.
Damn … Eric looks good bald or with hair and dark hair or white hair. Good for him!
Dark Side of the Ring have so much content here, they can do a full season on it!
Ah yes good Ole Conrad. The biggest mark in aew history lol
He loves all of this. Anything to make AEW look better
lol they all knew how vince was but never said anything about it, they're just as guilty...
I'm not sure how are people considering the women innocent when she signed such a horrible deal with Vince. Sure things went out of hand.
Vince is definitely a horrible person but calling Janel a victim is also crap.
She knew Vince's intentions from day 1 and agreed to it and now blames Vince.
Women💀
Exactly
We now let the Ring boy scandal come to light again while the motor of the car is in high gear.
Question for Eric you have a daughter and a grand daughter would you have wanted to see McMahon treat your daughter or grand daughter like he treated Jenel.
The only reason this is even coming back out cause this women didbt get the extra 2 million to shutup.
Business is business, if Vince didn’t live up to his end of the NDA then she can out him like this.
Classic Vince.
Pro wrestling has more integrity than major sports. They admit it's fixed.
CM punk has 1 big advantage over most his body is beat up but no drug or alcohol damage
I think y’all are right about the NFL being a work.
UFC too
Hour and 13 in we finally get vince talk. Holy shit, anything else they wanna shill?
Great show guys!! I was pleased to hear a more serious tone & stance from Eric & Conway concerning this horrible situation.... TOTALLY DIFFERENT take on the issue from Corny...James E. really lost a little bit of my respect with his opinion & thoughts.
Jim Cornette himself is a freak in private and probably shares a lot of similarities with Vince as far as the perversion goes with the sex toys, scatting, voyeurism, gang banging, etc.
I’ve knocked Conrad a lot for his annoying commercials at the end of literally every clip lol. And cornettes podcasts have been nothing short of brilliant for the last six months to a year. However Connie and Eric completely knocked this out of the park, giving this horrifying story the seriousness it deserves.
From one Thompson to another, Conrad, you and J.R. do some grand grand work. Kudos to you for bringing up the 🆕 new 2k5 Wrestling video game. "My story starts at the beginning brother" *forgot Texas Rattlesnakes part,"this story is not finished" Cody Roades deserves to go to WrestleMania and headline, seeing as how he is on the cover of the 🆕 wrestling video game
The Rock tries to avoid controversy, I could see him pulling out of this comeback.
Hopefully, he's awful.
