@Low760 I do post updates on my thread (and only my thread) on grm, ferrarichat, and my own forum gemellocattivo. That's why there is little to no talking the videos, the explanation is on the forums
24 years ago I bought the car sight unseen from a salvage yard thinking a blue car that needs paint is a red car, when I saw it I knew there was no way I was changing the color.
@@mark_gemellocattivo Good call, because that shade of blue is just incredible. One of my uncles is a mechanic and paint and body expert. He created a one off paint for a car I used to own. (1990 Chevy Beretta) It was very similar to the blue on your 308. I've never seen a paint like it until your car. I honestly don't remember ever seeing a Ferrari 308 or 328 in blue before. Is it a Ferrari colour? Oh ya, I almost forgot to mention that those rims with the low profile tires on your car looks SOOO much better than the stock size with the taller profile tires. It gives the 308 such an awesome stance.
@@Viking8888 Yes factory color, I've seen a handful (on forums)....there is even another V12 conversion this color. jamasonphotography.wordpress.com/2017/04/12/nigels-flyer-ferrari-308-gts-v12/comment-page-1/ I know of 5 V12 308s, 3 red 2valve cars that used 365 single cam engines (One is now painted gray) and 2 308QVs, both this shade of blue, both used 400i engines (I only used the block but still) The wheels are a 1 off set I designed going for the stock but not stock look....notice the gemello cattivo (evil twin) badge on the rear I also added in place of the quattrovalvole :)
I did not expect to see this today. This is amazing! My congratulations on being able to swap it and make it work, that's amazing. I would love to hear it roar through gears. Great work.
This is a wakeup call for me to circle back and catch up on postings. Somehow, it fell off my routine. Yet, priority should be to get my own project back on the road.
I am a simple man. I see a FrankenFerrari update, and I literally drop what I'm doing to check in.
Me too. Especially since he stopped posting on grm
@@Low760 He posts regularly on grm.
It's my first time watching 😍
I am doing my own V12 supercar build 😎

@@mark_gemellocattivo my apologies. It stopped for a bit and I closed the thread. I'll have to go back. I loved the house remodeling too.
Cobalt blue on a 308 is my new favourite! Unbelievably beautiful.

It's the first time watching your video and I'm in love. The looks of a 308 and the sound of a V12 a match made in heaven 😮
I'll try to get some better driving videos soon, its definitely sensory overload.
Yesssssss!!! Love love love this whole build.
Even the starter sounds more serious than my car!
What engine?
Im so happy the wheels turned out successfully, everytime i see them im like YES!!!

A roar through the gears video will come ...once it runs well enough that I feel safe leaving my neighborhood :)
Congratulations!
Was it plugged into a trickle charger? I really hope that extension cord didn’t nick the paint. That blue is beautiful.
I think the emotion made him forget !??!
The laptop. It battery died and I totally forgot it was plugged in. Doh!

I worry about the puddle of fluid that was left behind, and the yellow cable that popped off the car when he drove off.
😍 Wow, what's the V12 from?
I am building my own V12 supercar with the OG zonda engine 😎
Its a Ferrari 400i block, Testerossa head, Ducati TBs and a bunch of other custom bits, FrankenFerrari.
Good luck with you build!
I love it 😍👍@@mark_gemellocattivo
