    Loved working on this 430 with you Sam, such a great project. That fire damage that would put most buyers off was a fairly simple fix. This doesn’t mean you can now buy whistling diesels F8 Ferrari and expecting me to work magic on it 😉😉😉

      Well to be honest, the work wasn't complex but it is the knowledge you require which makes it possible. Knowing about the pumps being flawed, knowing where to get sensibly priced replacement parts, where to get the wiring loom etc.

    February of this year 2023, The vehicle I have had for 27 years caught fire due to an electrical system failure. After emptying out two fire extinguishers and using a fire axe on the bonnet to get to the fire, the fire was extinguished, along the life of my favourite vehicle of my life. At first, I thought about retiring it to lawn art. But I just kept getting parts and deconstructing the burnt parts. By the end of the month, she was running again. By the middle of spring, she looked better than she had in years and ran smoother than new. Congratulations on your fire restoration.

    Hi Sam, I’ve been watching you for a long time. I have to say I’m really proud of you on this one. Yes I agree with you. I would’ve totally done the same thing. You bought your dream car. at half the cost. You also learned a lot on the way. That alone is always a great thing. I’m a car fanatic as well, so maybe I’m not the voice of reason, but you’re lifetime dreams are something that you can’t put a price on. I also think that the rebuild BMW that you auctioned off for charity was a wonderful thing you did. It’s good that you have surrounded yourself with some great people who are there for you. I I hope you’re still married after that Lincoln snafu, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Again I would’ve done the same thing. I think you and I are cut from the same cloth! Regards from Tampa. Keep bringing the phenomenal content!

    Amazing job. One thing that bothers me. It's pointed out that the car was definitely purchased with all of the top of the line upgrades. Yet, had he carried a fire extinguisher with him, the damage would very likely been mitigated and the car not totaled. If you're going to spend hundreds of thousands on a car, go the extra mile and buy a $50 fire extinguisher.

    • @pegcity4eva
      @pegcity4eva 5 дней назад

      A 50 dollar fire extinguisher works for maybe 4 seconds. Its not gonna do anything.

    • @robpierce4712
      @robpierce4712 4 дня назад

      @@pegcity4eva Even if it lasts only 4 seconds (ridiculous), if it were sprayed on that one small concentrated area, it would have definitely mitigated much of the damage. Definitely better than taking no action at all.

    Let's get real, the only reason why this project is feasible for you is because you have a bunch of YT influencer friends willing to do top notch work because it's going to be advertised on YT. If any of us regular Joe's wanted the same service, it would cost 100% more and still wouldn't be as detailed and top notch as the service you got because you have the "buddy privileges" club card.

    i think Ferrari will be very very proud of your work. it's all about pride in this special special type of work. thanks for the whole team is this fine art project. it's not so much the car as the special pride of everyone involved. so, what Ferrari has meant you have added a very special chapter. again i hope the Ferrari factory workers see this and clap. it's just " crazy " art man. the commentary on the video was very well paced, informative and succinct.
