@@geraldscott4302 You'd think a V8 wouldn't be that big a deal as long as you had someone who knew how to tune them. I could see a V12 being so exotic you can't easily find a mechanic. Maybe even carbureted V8's are getting rare these days along with mechanics who know how to work on them.
Everything must go!
Fair price, should be sold by end of day. I was guessing $45 before the anouncement. Was a fun series to watch.
Our neighbor had one parked in his garage when was I was a kid. Very often on the way to school I would peer in the window and stare at that beauty. For a while they were not particularly expensive. Not at all sure I would purchase one now. But I still enjoy that unique design. Good video. Has it sold?
Great work Wizard. Certainly a great car for the price
Good price for the Ferrari.
You can also install the injection system on old motorcycles. The result is more power and less consumption.
There are a number with over 100k miles on the odo. These are very durable and can be daily driven. The more.u drive it, the better they get. Atrophy is a killer.
Very fair price. Very fair.
One thing... this might be tricky to get past CA SMOG...
Don't forget that Kevin Smith at KSR performance helped with the dyno tuning.
I would take it over to Vanko for a quote. I expect they could really bring it up a level for $1500
I believe the price you've quoted is reasonable. Also, the labour cost involved in the project. 😊
Agree, and if it was running as well as it is and all factory, the price would go way up.
Plus another $5k for the A/C and knobs?
50k for an iconic model of Ferrari ain’t bad at all. I’d imagine an old 911 going for similar numbers with as much put into it with 21k miles. I thought more 75k bracket with some 20k into getting it perfect.
Wish I had that laying around along with the space to store a second car haha.
Beautiful - if I had 50K cash (no loans for toys) I would buy it in a heartbeat.
A non-pretentious doodle around classic. Love it.
That's a steal for that car for anyone who can afford it. Someone will get a great classic Ferrari for a deal!
Nice rebuild Wizard , and a very fair price for such a solid runner
Man I love 308s, beautiful car! Good luck on your sale!
Great opening sales pitch 'It runs and drives perfectly but don't try and drive it home!' 😂
Why selling this car? This is one of the exciting project in this channel.
Wizard in your best must humble opinion, going back in time starting perhaps 1960s and up. From 1 - 10 exotic automobile list, which one to buy and which ones to run away? I think is a interesting subject. Very nice Ferrari! 👍👍
I like that it sounds fast when the Wizards takes off in it. We all know better.
Those fuses remind me of the ones that were used in late '70s / early '80s VWs. Here's hoping you find a new owner for the car.
I know this video has only been online for 8 hours but I bet this car has already sold. $50K is a steal!
So the front spoiler was never really finished. Sad. It always stuck out as sore thumb
Every bumper guy at a dealer ship would have fixed and painted the front bumper for 300 a shame to offer a car in that condition with all the resources you have
50k for that is a steal. Knowing the wizard put that kind of work into it, a nice paint job and some tender love and care you got yourself a 90k vehicle easy.
If I had the time and money, I’m just trying to make it till the end of the week at this point.
How the economy hasn’t collapsed is beyond me. 700$ is the average car payment. Both mine are paid off and still struggling to buy food and pay my mortgage.
It’s a 46 year old car that’s been sitting several years, was in very rough shape, and by Wizard’s estimation, it’s good enough for a weekend but not a cross country road trip given the cars combined small issues.
The Magnum shirt was a nice touch.
Congrats on finishing the 308. And congrats on reaching 1M subscribers!
It is a beautiful car and impressively sorted out by Gerard and the Wizard!
It’s moving art. You look at it more than drive it.
😊👍 come out really clean. I remember when it had no doors
"We got big things, big projects in the future that we'll start, but not complete, and then pawn off on another guy... Just like ALL our other unfinished projects that we bail on..."
This one is finished. Ive finished several. Stop being a jerk. Send us a link to your projects. Lets see them.
@@CarWizard Which one? My 66 Corvair Monza (The engine is my Google Avatar)? The 81 DeLorean on my RUclips page? My 79 Checker Marathon? My 09 Volvo C30 T5 R-Design? My 78 Super Beetle with the 914 engine? My 61 Valiant? My 86 Corvette? My 86 Dodge 600 convertible? My 01 Volvo XC70? My 02 Volvo S80 Twin turbo? My 86 Yugo? or my 50 Buick Special? EDIT: All which were completed, except for the XC70 which I'm still working on.
Picked the wrong comment wizard.... Lol
Dang man. Why are you here if you're going to be a jackass? Maybe you could make some content and show everyone how its done.
Car Wizard, I have a 70 Cuda needing a new owner. It is a big project.
I've got a friend of mine that owns a body shop and he's got a Ferrari that looks exactly like the one you're showing
i love wood steering wheel. i have one un my alfa and its awesome. the chrome shifter i would change. i had one in a car and the sob is on fire when you go to use it if it sits outside for a min. id get a wood one to match steering wheel.
V8s with flat plane cranks sound very different at lower RPMs than one would expect.
Very nice other than the sticker on the back.
