I like this series because it really makes me feel like I better know where things are now, just from you talking about landmarks in each specific arrondissement 😂 Thanks for doing what you do! Have a great weekend x
Don't miss the Rodin if you are visiting Paris or the Monet in the 16th, leave the Louvre for return visits. Great series, you are showing things I have not seen after many, many visits! Thank-you Jay!
The Quai Branly is one of my favorites! We stumbled upon it accidentally ,whilst adventuring, and decided on a whim to go in and I'm so glad we did. Very Inspirational.
Coffee vid is worth the look. Jay, you bring out what is great about Paris. I watch your adventures and remember only the good. And my affection for the city grows.
Working in downtown San Francisco I would always be reminded of Paris when looking out the company's windows to the City Hall and its dome - it's practically a copy of the Invalides, and the most opulent public building in the US. SF always looked to the best for inspiration.
Just love the 20 in 20!! Great way to start my day!! I will not be able to see everything this trip. Still trying to get my daughter to split her graduation trip half in Paris and half in Cairo. I have until next April to persuade her! I have been sending her your vlogs! 😁
I have gone into the Quay Branly museum and it is truly extraordinary. The cafe is expensive, but there is free seating where you can see the Eiffel tower and walking the grounds is free.
Been waiting for this one - the area between the 7th and 15th (Grenelle) is my favorite (happy times eating and talking in Les Frères Bretons. Nice Brittany food - that area has to wait for next weekend).
My husband and I have a saying right now. It is “Paris is waiting for us”. Less than a month away and I am excited! Love love loving this video series right now. The timing is spot on. Thank you giving us a preview of the beautiful city.
I have really enjoyed this set of videos. I was in Paris with my family last September and hope to go back next year. It is really cool seeing some of things that we saw on your video. It is even better to get recommendations for our next trip. It is also great seeing you appear to be enjoying life so much more now than a 18 months ago!
I was in Paris when they were setting up the E cars race..... I has such a hard time crossing the Seine from the 7th arrondissement to go see my family in the 17th! Saw the sheep! It was really fun to watch this episode....Thanks
Jay, how could you hit the 7th and not hit Rue Cler? Everything you stated the 7th was lacking are on those few streets. On the other hand, love this series. You’ve been so many places we have on our two trips but also shown us many locations we’ve missed.
Coming to Paris from Toronto Canada next week, in just 5 more sleeps!!! Can't wait. Jay, Thanks so much for making these videos. They are a great source of information. I found ur channel last week and hv been binge watching ever since. I even sent our friends to ur channel bc ur 20 in 20 series is such a great idea. Keep up the great work. Clearly ur a natural at this.💝👍. Happy Easter 2019 🐰
Andy Hinkle - if you’re using public transport and this is your first trip, the cheapest option may be the Navigo (and the version anyone can buy with a 25mm by 30mm small photo for the photo card is the Navigo Découverte). Details at ruclips.net/video/0PIdQGPqer8/видео.html
And pay attention to how the card works for reloading times. I ran into the glitch yesterday that you can’t buy a weekly pass between Thursday midnight and Monday morning. Had to load a day pass for today and get to do it again tomorrow. Why can’t Paris catch up to the rest of the world with a card that just carries whatever balance you put on it and is always usable?
dave928 - agreed. Have something like an Oyster Card ...but then again, having the entire freedom of Paris all the way up to CDG for a calendar week for only €22,80 (when a day in London up to Heathrow is capped at £12.80 a day or £64.20 for the Monday to Sunday (using contactless credit cards, Apple Pay, or an Oyster Card)) is a pretty good bargain. That’s why I stress that it’s not the choice for you if you’re going for a long weekend.
I want to buy this particular apartment behind musée D’Orsay.....every time I go to Paris I look at it and go...one day....and thanks for today....see you tomorrow xx Kerrin and Leia xx oh and I also love the Rodin museum...xx
I’m really enjoying your 20 in 20! I found you last month via the Earful Tower. I will be in Paris next month for the first time in 20 years. Last time I was in Paris, the Orsay was closed for renovations. I was hoping for a glimpse today when you did the 7th. I’m happy that you’ll be doing an in depth vlog there soon.
We stayed a block from your friends new restaurant to be and it is in a great location. It was surreal to see in real life something I hd watched in your videos several times. It will be a really nice restaurant for sure!
Seriously love this 20 in 20 idea. The videos are great and im learning so much... didn't know Orsay was in the 7th. But I adore that museum. I rushed through due to timing but wanted to check out the new exhibit on Black Models and it was amazing! I learned so much
musee d'orsay is my second favorite museum in Paris (behind the louvre) i went four times in the span of one week and I want to go back sooooo bad. looking forward to that video!!!
This is such a great series, Jay! Thanks so much for all the work it’s taking. I like what you say at the end: wherever you are in Paris is made special by the people you’re with. So true! 👍🏼✌🏼
I love your channel! I've been obsessed with Paris since I was a teen and your content is removing the intimidation to actually go and experience it for myself. I have so much respect for your contribution to RUclips that I would become a patron if I had the means. Until that happy day arrives, please accept my gratitude, and a virtual hug from Canada. (Also please fuss over Gustave the next time you see him.) You inspire. Thank you💕
We'll be in Paris in August, staying in the 7th. I just saw our hotel in the background of this video, very cool! Can't wait, we'll have to check out Zia for coffee
We are traveling to Paris next month and have enjoyed watching your videos to get some tips on places to see. We are a bit worried about the yellow vest protests since we are going with our 2 young kids. Are they usually protesting in a certain part of Paris and is safety a concern at all to you? Just curious for a “local’s” perspective.
Hey Jay I have a quick question. While in Paris Is it proper etiquette to eat a burrito with a knife and fork. I'm from San Diego the land of many burritos.
No yet. The most important thing is to eat with "classe" : the food must go to your mouth not the opposite. So don't move your head ; Have an impenetrable face while chewing slowly ; close your eyes during exactly 1.39 second and make a forceful judgement about the food with an "air blasé" : - If you like it (very much) you can say : "C'est pas mal (du tout) " and nothing more, - otherwise the burrito does not deserve to feed you : drop your fork and knife (at the same time) and say loudly "c'est immangeable". If you can run fast you can throw the plate in direction of the cuisine before leaving the table.
Coutume non laptop friendly policy was cute- everyone on cell phones. Coutume policy change "fine whatever use laptop, mini laptop, iPad, cell etc...)". Just come here please!
So you know how Beyoncé has the Bey Hive, Jay has the Swansonites and we don’t play. Nobody cares about your opinion so just be quiet and enjoy the video

Glad it's helping!😁
Musee D'orsay is worth a separate video!!! Looking forward to it. Love this series!!!
😁😁😁
Don't miss the Rodin if you are visiting Paris or the Monet in the 16th, leave the Louvre for return visits. Great series, you are showing things I have not seen after many, many visits! Thank-you Jay!
I still have yet to get out to Monet's place. It's high on the list!
The Quai Branly is one of my favorites! We stumbled upon it accidentally ,whilst adventuring, and decided on a whim to go in and I'm so glad we did. Very Inspirational.
I need to pay it a fresh visit!😊

I agree with you. I was very skeptical when this museum opens. Now I really like to go there.

Am I the only guy opening google maps and exploring along with Jay?
Watching on iPad and map open on phone!
Jay, how could you hit the 7th and not hit Rue Cler? Everything you stated the 7th was lacking are on those few streets. On the other hand, love this series. You’ve been so many places we have on our two trips but also shown us many locations we’ve missed.
Great sunny day shots. I have never been inside Les Invalides OR Le Rodin 😮 D’Orsay is my fave.

Love this series! Staying in the 16th July 4-12. Would love to say Hi!
I read a blog that said to eat at Le Bosquet. that there Ravioli Gratin was life changing ;) And they also recommended eating at Les cocottes .
Here's hoping they're as good and better!

So good, Jay! Oh and,"Sheeper than hiring someone to cut the grass." Okay, I'll stop now. #BadpunSaturday
Haha
Top floor of the D'Orsay is like heaven 😍
=D
I'll happily go to d'Orsay with you! I go every time I'm there to see all my favourites, way better than the Louvre in my eyes
It's been a long time since I've gone. Can't wait 😁

Is' nt Puchan from Biarritz ¿
@@TheMsPants No clue, he has perfect english so i assumed he was not french
Hahaha too late
No rue Cler? One of the most famous market streets in Paris. But I can't wait for the 15e, my old stomping grounds. Let me know if you need tips!
Missing Rue Cler :(
Sadly we can't hit em all - but next time 😁
Really enjoying these videos! 😄
Sweet! =D
Thank you for these tours. Makes me feel like i'm back in Paris.❤

What are the rental prices like in the 7th? It's always been my favourite neighbourhood in Paris (and not because of the Eiffel Tower)
Liked the background audio ....PUXAN!!!!
=D
We'll be in Paris in August, staying in the 7th. I just saw our hotel in the background of this video, very cool! Can't wait, we'll have to check out Zia for coffee
Excellent! It's a really nice area
What was the name of the burrito breakfast place called again? And are they still open?
Do you ever do anything except eat & drink or is this all there is to the series ?????
We are traveling to Paris next month and have enjoyed watching your videos to get some tips on places to see. Puxxxxxaaaaannn!

When I went to Paris a couple of summers ago the line to the Rodin museum was so long I skipped it... Any way around that endless line?
Grappling hooks and ropes should do the trick 😉
Was the line for buying ticket ? In most of the parisian museums you can buy ticket online it will spare you some time.
Hey Jay I have a quick question. While in Paris Is it proper etiquette to eat a burrito with a knife and fork. I'm from San Diego the land of many burritos.
Well when they stack the guacamole on top of it... 😂 but I should have eaten it by hand for sure
