Awesome that is exactly like the guys and gals used to build in my teens. But would love to see stock rims also on those tires. More work for Adam lol.
Really appreciate finding your channel and opening my eyes to more of the parts available out there on the mini scale stuff. My wallet doesn't appreciate it as much but its ok.
It's a very special moment when you're with your child and you guys are he'll always remember that he will always remember that moment you know what I mean and it will imprint on him to do the same for his children
That’s a fantastic looking truck and looks like a lot of fun! I’d be torn between putting the chrome wheels back on and painting all the chrome black to murder it out, possibly with the only chrome being the Ford badge.
I did that to my TRX4M Defender a bunch of fun. It’s fun doing the conversions, I had to use different shocks because of the top heavy nature of it. Great video.✌🏽
Awesome truck great build! Dying to get one myself! I have to agree with you it looks so sharp raised up like that with the portal axles and the big tires good job way to go keep up the good builds!
Another thing is I have noticed that if you buy like the tool sets off of Amazon and then by MIP tools you will definitely see a huge difference the way the Alan driver fits in the screw
I definitely suggest the MEUS 25:1 midrange crawler gears I have them in my defender I didn't want to go full crawl and still have some trail speed I really think you will like them I have mine paired with the MOFO torquebeast 180 killer combo
Would like to have some of those 74's in monster truck tire design. I'm working on building a 1/24 scale monster truck out of an Axial SCX24 and I dont like any of the tires I see out there for it. None of them look quite because they just look like monster truck tires but aren't actually quite tall enough imo.
My TRX4M will be here in a few days! So excited. Got some scx24s and a Senton so happy to add to my collection! Do you happen to know if the injora flex blades will work with the Injora LCG chassis for the Bronco?
Super cool, I just got the black K 10 Chevy truck Man are they beautiful, my buddies got the brown Ford, I’m going to get the black Ford sometime down the road. For now I am super happy with my Chevy K 10
A different build i really wanna see is scx24 power wagon tow rig with the trailer just to see how well you can make it tow the trailer and a heavy rig and what all you would need
Adam, could you make a material for FMS FCX18 toyta full performance tuning? It also has the best possible rock climbing capabilities ;p I would be very grateful because no one has yet made this model specifically for crowling. Best regards, Mirosław
I ordered 90% of these parts to do the same thing. I already have the low gears on the stock wheels and honestly it does no good. The wheel speed when needed is not there. I'd like to see when I install these big wheels to get more wheel speed. I also made the mistake of cutting my springs to make it a crawler. Gonna have to upgrade the stock shocks. I'm very new to this but I was thinking injora 59mm brass shocks. Any input would be appreciated
Were the wheel mounts on these axles larger than the stock TRX4M? I installed these on mine and the wheel spacers that I was using before will not pit over the axles on this kit and I can't seem to find anything online about this.
Love the channel, keep up the great content. Also, it would be interesting to see your take on building a scx24 with not rtr only wording aftermarket parts and doing a build.
One thing I think that they done wrong when it comes to they're pin Tire their new one that you just showed I believe they should have offset the rose by like 3 mm maybe not even that much but I have a set of the 65 mm pins and I cut them every two pin roll off so it is like a zig zag back and forth across the tire and I'm telling you right now it increases that Tire's performance by 50% that might be a little extreme but it really increases the performance
So, i got the Meus Racing portal axles with the Holmes Hobbies motor with the 2 seperate wires. If i mess around with them on the ESC, when i get it going forward, it should work the way it should with the pro scale light kit, right?
Check out the mofo rc 1up wheels. They have a nice classic deep dish look, multiple options including brass upgrades. The offset gives you a nice stance and you can never have to much wheel speed with a mud truck.
I can definitely see that thing in a mud hole if you was in the hole and you turn left and romped it pull the front left tire and just start swinging mud everywhere
But once again anytime you're breaking screw heads off and stuff like that it's this man that right there gets really scary because if you break one screw you might not be able to use the whole housing and I know that like stuff happens I know this a lot of the times when it comes to the smaller Hardware I feel like they don't get the hardness tensile strength correct
For the mere fact that portals made my rig go backwards...idk if I'll ever go back. 🤦🏼♂️😅 I think straight axles are the way to go & way easier to deal with. Lol
That's how all portal axles work man. You can use the transmitter to program the esc to reverse the throttle or you just switch the red and black motor wires in the plug. Super easy. Portals are hands down better than straight axles for clearance.
Well what the heck do you watch a video about putting portals on for then?! That IS the literal, entire point of portals, yes. Congratulations. @@axialpad99
Say this is my thing I have seen a lot of this a lot of these other name brands screw heads break off screw head stripped out straight off of the rip one thing that I know for sure when it comes to the SCX24 portal axles I run treal because their stuff is built like a rock it will not break I think how to all the time I've been running a month four different rides I have broke one screw and I think it was broke before it was even put into the truck or I just turn the screwdriver the wrong way or something I don't know and one link mount I believe that was a machining error for just a weak spot in the material and they replaced it instantly the whole housing another thing that's really cool about their portal axles is there a straight axle housing with their portal boxes add it on to it
With all respect man for what he’s got into it I really doubt you’d be willing to buy it for what its value is . The upgrades on these things add up fast. I have a black one as well and went brushless and bigger tires with beadlocks and it’s easily $400 plus

What does width end up being? I'm curious if I build one it will fit my trailer 🤞
Awesome that is exactly like the guys and gals used to build in my teens. But would love to see stock rims also on those tires. More work for Adam lol.
Some ssd slotmags or hole shots would probably look good.
would the dgcrawlers (74mm) even fit the stock wheel?
I hate to see pretty trucks get dirty but there's really no other way to drive this one! very satisfying to watch it in the mud!
I hear that, time to completely tear it down to dry out & re-oil..
Looks awesome! But in my opinion traxxas absolutely nailed those stock wheels!
I think you should make it a little wider, would look sick and add some stability

Best build you've ever done.In my opinion.
Agree. Truck from my childhood for sure but I think the stock wheels would seal the look.
That’s awesome! Love that little unimog truck just bashing through the water
Those tires look so good on there, I also like the look of the high trail turned into the low trail by flipping the portals
If I only change the tyres, what is the maximum size I can put?
Probably 64mm I would guess
Absolutely Perfect 👍
Great vid Adam, those tires def fit that old school Ford look. Nice looking axles
GNARLY...looks like the truck that drives by and honks its train horn if he drives by a neighborhood with someone he knows💥💥💥
That truck looks great. Just like great trucks from the late 80's and early 90's.
That’s a fantastic looking truck and looks like a lot of fun! I’d be torn between putting the chrome wheels back on and painting all the chrome black to murder it out, possibly with the only chrome being the Ford badge.
Please try the stock rims, love the look of those. Super fun build.
That ground clearance though 😂
I did that to my TRX4M Defender a bunch of fun. It’s fun doing the conversions, I had to use different shocks because of the top heavy nature of it. Great video.✌🏽
Some brass hex extentions would really set that build off
Yeah let’s see it in action I’m here watching😊

Looks sweat ! Keep it retro! With the chrome wheels
Awesome video Adam Mega Truck definitely a cool build. 74mm 😮 and the silver wheels definitely
Well I definitely know my next build when I’m done with my bronco
That’s so wicked looks like my dads real truck he had before he passed away 👌
Another thing is I have noticed that if you buy like the tool sets off of Amazon and then by MIP tools you will definitely see a huge difference the way the Alan driver fits in the screw
Those tires are wicked man!!!
I think those 72mm tires would look cool on the Trail Hunter.

Love it! 👌👊
Super Bad Ass rig bro. Looks killer with the huge tires and portals. Looks like you guys were havin some good fun runnin in the mud too.

Locked diffs are going be great for mudding

I'm wondering about trying out those flex blades on my Bronco as well. 🤔
For these mega builds would it be easier to put 12mm hex adapter and small 1.5 mud tires?
Awesome ❤

Meus racing sells some mid range metal gears for the trx4 if that's works looking into. 👍
A different build i really wanna see is scx24 power wagon tow rig with the trailer just to see how well you can make it tow the trailer and a heavy rig and what all you would need
That's a really cool build! Great setup for driving in water and mud. Would negative offset beadlock wheels and hub extenders help to avoid tip overs?

Get a small paintbrush for that grease man. Pack’m right! 😀

Try running hex extensions widening it out some
This is epic as fff
You need to widen the stance by about 10mm a wheel. Would look better too.

how much does it weigh? my trx4m is up to 816g I think it's too heavy straining the motor.
love your videos keep up the good work. thanks
Nice! I am now motivated to spend money
Wondering if you can use the dual shock setup from the TRX4MT?!
I think so. You’ll need to shock towers from the MT

I'd love to see how well those tires fit your son's unimog, and have you considered flub rc inserts?
Ikinda want to improve the crawling ability on mine. Any tips?
I have the AX24 should I put 1.2 tires on it or just stay with 1in any suggestions would help
Great video as always! Those 74mm tires are sick gonna have to get some. Could the foams be glued so they won't shift inside the tire?
Good idea 👍
Did you get water on the foam, do they ever get wet
Yeah that is sweet dude I like it😊

Yes exactly

A sweet badass build ford tough 💪
I can definitely see that thing in a mud hole if you was in the hole and you turn left and romped it pull the front left tire and just start swinging mud everywhere
Can you do this on the k10, or different parts
The BEST tires for the trx4m?
Please tell me the rear axel ring and pinion can be reversed
but really cool
What do you do to clean the trucks after being in the water and mud? Thanks
I hose them off and wipe them down with cleaning wipes afterwards
Get the injora monster truck wheels on it!

the wheels are to small
Do you think thay these tires will be good on a crawler?
I think so. The compound is good and tread design is solid.

Trouble hight to weight tips over easy
Will be a 1/10 soon.

Why is it leaning so much to the left though? It isn't a little bit straight.
I noticed that too but haven’t investigated it yet
Try open dif on just the front.🤔
