My set up in the Bigfoot I built has the 370 motor and Transmission combo from Injora in it along with the high speed 9.7 :1 Ratio steel gears in it and on 3s,its way too fast!! Like, can't control how fast it goes. So it's only allowed to run 2s in it at 80c. If you put any 3s in it, without using speed curving on the transmitter, you'll do a sitting backflip even barely squeezing the trigger. I forgot to say what esc, it's the Injora MB100. And it is perfect for those that want stoppies and wheelies. These golden year monster trucks didn't do backflips and free style like today, and my build was to make a most realistic OG Bigfoot, and if you've seen it on my channel, you'd agree... Lol awesome vid though!!
You did a great Job with what you had to work with. You said it right you cant take a crawler and just tires and a body on it and end up with a Monster truck. What Pisses me off is the Mini LMT was out. You had the leading compitition to look at and Traxxas Still MISSED the MARK and they missed by a Mile too. I was gonna buy this im just gonna get the Mini LMT
I smoked the stock radio/ esc using the same fms speed motor but with the two speed transmission mounted in it and using the Injora radio with Mb100 esc. But all of this was on the Trx4m with a slight lift and big tires. It’s fun now and I love BIGFOOT!
Glad you got the Injora MB100... It truly whips the Trx4mt around like a bucking bronco! It's very comparable to the 80s monster truck. 4wheel steering is finally in on mine, but I won't be controlling it from a toggle switch on my window/doorframe... Lol I run 2s as well, 9.7:1 Ratio gearing and 370 motor. It has plenty of bite and it turns surprisingly well with 4x4x4 locked diffs. I haven't tried to fabricate fitting the RCAWD open diffs I got into the Injora Axles yet. Might not. If anyone needs a couple all metal diffs that fit fms/TRX4Metc... And a straight axle injora with 5mm+ let me know... Lol
Thanks for the video. I have been trying to keep the stock esc and radio but add power. I have a MOFO RC TorqueBeastX motor that I'm testing out right now. Im extremely impressed so far.
Buy the High tral version, and then get the Bigfoot add on kit 9844x and go from there. I personally know now I wish I had bought the high trail and built mine from that frame rail setup instead, that way I could have added leaf springs. I'm gonna try on this MT frame, but I bet it'll be too much of a stretch to do it. The Injora shock mounts for the upper points will work for the double shock mounting,, and then just add the part that traxxas has for the lower axle, part # is 9831. ✌️😉👍🍻
Even upgraded i ain't impressed. Seems like your just polishing an expensive turd. I'd recommend to anyone, buy a smasher or a losi, both are much better options in performance and value for money! Still... it's a nice bodyshell 😂

Im going to put the traxxas ford body on a mini lmt. Better looking body on better truck.
The Traxxas has that classic late model look though. But that’s about all it’s got going for it.

Furitec python and ceder system and either traxxas 2 speed or meus 2 speed transmission fast as hell and you can still crawl when you want
