this video is just so confusing
why do you attach the hooks if you just glue them to the wall and why do you attach the glue pads if you let the curtain hang off the hooks on a wire?
You dont have to do either. If you use the sticky pads you are not required to use hooks and the other way around
They come with sticky things?! YAYYYYYY Mine are here today but I'm stuck at dumb dumb work. 😞
I ordered from Amazon and didn't get any lights, sticky pads or a screw driver. Just the hooks and the plug 🤦🏽♂️ missed out on this now for Halloween 😔
Why didn't the hooks just come installed?
Lol that's exactly what I was wondering also. I just setup the clips and expected to clip the curtain to the small hooks. Dang! How did you do this? Thanks
They wouldn’t fit in the packaging I have em and they would be a complete mess
@@nolenoribello7318 They're not made to be in a package. Put them on a wall or window. Placing them well only takes few seconds. You can use a hairdryer to untwist them
@@jean-guynewbrunswick7483 My comment was a response to "Why aren't the hooks already installed" - the hooks are not pre-installed becuz if they were it wouldn't fit in the package. I bought 2 and have them covering 2/3 of my living room wall LOL
@@nolenoribello7318 It's probably because the hooks are optional. In my case, I did not install them. I just used the 6M adhesives. I got 2 also. Awesome product.
Thanks Installation done and 3 curtain linked in app. Unfortunately the MUSIC Mode is no longer available when the light curtain is extended. Can groove fix this in the Govee App?
How did you get 3 curtains to sync? We can't figure that part out

You probably already found this, but yes sold individually and can hook up together up to 3.
So just two will work
How do you connect three curtains? Do you splice them? How?
This is not a problem. They all come with 2 inputs at the end of the curtain strip

@@ArabellaPottery I received the kit yesterday ( dumfuk Amazon delivery guy just left the package on the front balcony without even buzzing as if pressing on a button is too hard for him ). Anyways, I did not have time to install it, but I've inspected everything. Setting up 2 or 3 of these is not a problem. You can put the plug to the left or to the right depending of your setup and then flipping the image in the app the way you want.
I would say it takes about one hour or 2 to install the whole kit.

how do you connect multiple curtains together? The website says you can but the instructions do not mention how?
Haha... the instructions?!? You mean the so-called User Guide that only deals with how to put them up?? It's too bad Govee makes such great products, but leaves it almost totally up to you to figure out how to use them! ESPECIALLY with this product... that is extremely complicated to program on your own.

I figured it out. You do not physically connect more than one curtain, you just add multiple curtains in the app and tell the app which side each curtain is on.
@YourDriver how did you get them to sync to be one large image though?
@@jennifercalderon1368 after you connect them in the app and tell it which side each curtain is on then it will display one image across all of them automatically.
The funny part is half of what you show as far as patterns is not available

Don't buy these if you plan on using more than one or want to use them outdoors. Each curtain is powered by a giant 110v power brick. They advertise linking three together, but you have to give each curtain it's own separate power supply - not just connecting functions via an app. Don't get these if you care about a clean install. If you want to run more than one, you'll have extension cords all over the place. C'mon Govee, you should have designed these with the capability to actually connect them physically together. Curtain lights draw very low power, and these could have been USB, which would allow you to connect everything to an outdoor solar power bank.
