Many thanks for this great video! Picked up my Edge from Andertons a few days ago, and the eta for my Crave is tomorrow! Really looking forward to having some playtime with them!
It was your earlier videos of the Edge that persuaded me to pre-order one a month or two back. Mine arrived Friday afternoon and I was not disappointed. I would never have bought the DFAM due to the price considering the features. But, at around £150 that I paid, the Edge was far more appealing. But. just like the Crave, I now want a second Edge.
Just getting mine in the next day or so, along with the Behringer System 55 which I have had on order since the beginning of April. Should keep me busy!
crave is made for sequence with pattern edition and more modulation on a single osc, you might play with it for acid-like sounds. edge is more percussive style due to the pitch modulation by enveloppe, but you can easily play around to create bass, percussive leads, rythmics and kicks or hats. I would go at first for edge as pattern creation (8 note loop) is a lot easier to put while creation possibilities are almost equal to crave.
Great video thank you. They missed a trick not making the output stereo, that's what lets the DFAM down IMO. This would make a great sound source for samples though.
Buzzin Andertons finally notified me that they are delivering mine pre ordered months ago had the dfam sold it regreted it although if they had put midi on properly probably would have kept i know how to use modular but if you get a desktop midi has been a standard for decades maybe now moogs been sold they will pull their heads out of their ass and put midi on all their desktop synths
Amazing review, and tutorial, i receive this Week my and i already love it, but I want to ask you one think, its posseble to make tutorial how can i connect MODE MACHINE ADX1 by midi channel to this behringer or synth or outher recently drum machine? Thank You A Lot If You Can
Thank you for the great video, supposedly I’ll be getting the first one today, I have everything intensional for multi craves and edges, they capable of 16 voices so I want to test that feature! Lol, I hate Apples spellcheck! I soundfrickin retarded! lol
I thought it was a pretty good demonstration. It showed quite clearly (in the limited time available) what it can do. I am thinking of getting one as it appeals to my "low tech" musical abilities. The 8 step sequence is a bit short, so will probably drive it via my Korg SQ-1.
Thanks Starsky, an excellent demo as usual.
He's the best
That intro! ;D Legend.
😅
ops Moog ... great vid :)

Super useful thanks!
thanks
So, is the sequence length fixed to 8 steps? That's oretry limiting. No waltzes. 😊
Thanks, great video
Great video, thanks for the details
Could I ask if the headphone output is going to a mixer or interface as a mono output? Thanks.
I want it so bad
Same. Picking it up later today...
I can now confirm it is awesome 😁
I want 2
What is the difference with the Crave? If I want to buy one, which one should I buy?

How would a monophonic synthesizer benefit from having stereo outs?

Nice??????
I'm listening with one ear bud. The left right thing. Dude. please?
After how @behringer are treating other community reviewers, I'd think long and hard about continuing to review their stuff.
I don’t care how they treat people. I want to hear their gear
Shut up. You either buy the product or you don't.
I just bought three to help behringer take over the world
the lack of imagination from all these edge 'demos' is startling..
bit rude! haha... go ahead and make your own.
