Epson has recalled several units mainly abroad due to these issues. Sony too has recalled their Laser units due to input playback incompatability! 2. Lamp based are established ones so for the next 2 years at least,Lamp should be preferred! You have spoken about the theoretical aspects. Considering the cost and the practicality of projector use, Lamp based are still the best! Lamp based is proven and established, so any day Lamp based is the best as of now considering their cost, after sales service and proven track record!
I’d prefer Optoma UHD55 as a better option considering the price point comparison. Epson TW9400 will cost anything around 2 lacs above. I really want to see a live comparison between the two. Also, a comparison between UHD35+ and Epson TW7100. I am comparing as per the buying price not the MRP price.
