If you recently have been looking out to buy projectors either for your Home Cinema or Business Meetings. You’ll notice two prominently visible technologies in the modern-day projectors.
These two technologies used for projection are - DLP, LCD.
DLP which stands for Digital Light Processing uses a chip made of tiny microscopic mirrors and a spinning colour wheel to create an image. On the other hand, LCD projectors use liquid crystal display to filter the beam of light into their respective colours. Later to re-converge them to form full bright colours.
Though there are several variants in LCD technology used by different brands. We’ll specifically look at one of the most popular variants 3LCD technology in our video along with DLP technology.
With brands boasting the benefits of having either technology in their projectors, It's difficult as a consumer to choose between two projectors
With this video, we’ll discuss their pros and cons to help you choose the better one for your needs.

My Friend Your Channel has Got a great future ahead
Crystal clear Explanation...💪❤
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you, I would appreciate if you can compare and share the pros & cons between Laser Short throw projectors with 3LCD Vs DLP and which is better suited for a Home Theater?
Thank You for your suggestion. We would surely come up with one soon. Do subscribe for notifications and update. :)
Very nice
I like DLP even though it has disadvantages. All LCD i have ever seen has a certain effect that i cant put into words, its like a very mild ghosting effect that my eyes can see whenever there is any motion on screen. DLP does not have the same effect and it looks more natural to my eye anyway.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!

Can’t wait to see a new wideo, Indian ascents are great!
between the Optoma UHD38 and the Epson EH-TW700, or Viewsonicpx748 - px728which one would you choose?
Epson is good
you should have comprasion with real light conditions. i could Ifind the information you have given in them catalog
very interesting video, however, now with the abundance of cheap lcd led video projectors, you should have talked about the mono lcd system, and not only the "3 lcd".
Thanks for your suggestion. We're try to cover mono lcd system in our future videos.
Mono LCD system is exactly what you said it is: cheap. Contrast and color accuracy can't be compared to 3LCD. No good projector will use a single LCD panel.
@@Descalabro yeah i know it, you know it, but this video is not adressed to people who already know everything they need to know about projectors... and since most cheap projectors you can find on amazon, ebay, or aliexpress are those mono lcd, i think it would be more than useful to talk about them.
@@segments2156 I agree with that.
@@segments2156 the dlp is a single lcd. Those cheap Amazon Chinese projectors use an led light source as many a modern dlp and most 3 lcd use now. Avoid the Chinese projectors that are very low priced. Don't be fooled by them saying 1080 hd Or such. Look for what the native lcd resolution is. Most are miserable 240x360, etc. If they have native of 1280x720, you may consider based on user reviews. Scrutinise reviews properly. Hope this helps. To give you an idea, an old 12 -15 year branded projector beats any 60 usd Chinese
what about rgb dlp projector?
3Chip DLP projector better then from single wheel projectors
Which one is best DLP or led
LED projectors aren't bright enough... hence if you have the budget then go for a Laser projector or the standard 3LCD or DLP projectors. LED projectors are only meant for pico projectors for basic presentation use and not for movie watching.
I loved your accent bro, it made me order tandoori chicken and forget about buying a projector.
racist ?
@@lux_mo Is he?
are you ?
@@lux_mo I like Indian food and the way they talk. "Hello matey boss vud you large nan and small salad boss?" They sound like waiters should.
dlp wins
DLP technology is good
Both have their pros and cons. Ultimately it's the buyers choice.
Ah please, this accents is so confusing
Dont watch simple
I wish youtube could filter out results with this hindu accent, i couldn't focus on content. Sometimes I feel like you guys speak like this on purpose, like you think it is so cool because BBT and Koothrapaali is popularrrr, yess...
Can't tell if this is bait or not...
