- This is the Corsair iCue Link system, complete with the Corsair iCue Link H150i, Corsair QX120 RGB fan kit and expansion kit and cable kit. Here I'm reviewing the kit and showing the highlights and lowlights of the system and what you get for your money. I'm showing how it works in terms of wiring, but also the settings you can apply in iCue and how the logic works with things like individual fan programming.

iCue Link Cable Kit (go.corsair.com/ZQyMo0)
Adding more cables in the packs and single fans is the only thing they messed up in this new iCUE Link release.
It's a weird move in a system that's already very expensive imo.
Thank you again for all the videos and knowledge. I just got my single rear 120 fan today, and it does come with the angled cable now. My treat to myself for 2024 is a white Corsair build in the white Dynamic EVO XL with 10 QX fans - (2) three packs, the H150i LCD AIO with three more QXs, and one for the rear. Hopefully the case arrives safe and sound tomorrow as I'm itching to build!!
That's good news about the cable. Here's a guide that might be useful ruclips.net/video/_CJYdwy2kZ0/видео.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn Was the cable not there before?
Just built a full corsair icue link build with the rx fans, no complaints, keeps everything cool
I used your old 5000D build video as inspiration on my own rig and put 13 Arctic P12 Max fans in it.
There's some real potential in the new iCue Link system, but the price is definitely going to stop most people from buying into it. Maybe if the performance of the fans is as good as Noctua, or as budget-friendly as Arctic...
Those braided cables always sticks out to me when I watch your vids haha ! For the love of God, PLEASE buy more combs and comb them!!!!
No
I'm just finishing a multi-day wiring job on my new machine and would definitely pay a premium to not have to go through that again. That said, I'm going to wait a year or so to see how many iCue Link products come out, especially AIOs, before I take the plunge.
Lights are what ever. How’s the actual aio performance? Can it tame the 13900k?
Yes, i have a 13700k so similar heat output. No higher than 60-65c in regular use. The thermal grizzly cpu contact frame will bring this down even further
@@TheSaxAppeal I eventually ended up buying this cooler after I posted this comment. It cools my 13700k at 5.6ghz on all p cores and 4.4ghz all ecores and 5.0ghz on the ring at 1.34v with ease. Did change out the pos rgb fans it came with for the legendary phanteks t30’s. And the thing I really don’t like about this aio is the pump noise. I looked into it and it’s normal.. Corsair says it’s normal also.. go figure 🙄 but I can’t f’ing stand it. Corsair needs to let’s us drop it below 2,400rpms.
So far, aside from the abysmal 90 deg cable availability, I'm really enjoying my new LINK cooling setup. One disappointing aspect of the H150I however, at least from my experience, is that the CPU cooler RGB isn't as bright as the accompanying QX fans. Because everything is connected to a single Hub, there is ONE brightness slider for everything. There is no independent brightness control for say, the cooler's RGB vs. the fans' RGB.
I'm curious if anyone else agrees that the cooler's RGB is dimmer than the fans'.
I thought this was gonna be released later 2023 or early 2024 but we're here now so thats cool. I may get this but for now my build is fine
honestly. yes its a pain that for 1 fan you have to also buy a cable kit but if every single fan came with a cable with how this system works. you would have something like 4-10 cables that are just doing nothing. i do think that if they ever come out with a 3 fan pack like we seen in the past. then i think one or more of the cable pack cables should be included (not the starter pack they have now).
30% too expensive
Yea.. lian li more affordable
I'm waiting for their performance fans version of this system, dont care for much for RGB
I'm getting this case and the 1200x shift power supply
Good stuff
I have a very similar system to yours but I removed the cable guard and installed 3 additional fans to the back.
Nice, I've done that before. If you have a look you'll see multiple 5000D videos by me haha
i think the fans are a much better looking fan than their older ones and lian li but that price is just too steep, 50 a fan plus cables plus controllers.. if i filled my 5000d full setup, its over 600 just for fans.. thats nuts. great product imo but too expensive for most people's bottom line
Bloody oath, mate. It's expensive!! They just got released in Australia and looking at my local tech store that I buy all my things, it's a money pit. Going to use them for my new build though I may wait for until the end of the year or 6 months and see what else comes out.
can you do a setup with the push/pull on the rad, 1 rear and 6 fans in the front with the link setup?
Some novel ideas from Corsair and a clever implementation of the software app. But, not all things are perfect. Extra cables, for example. Anyway, thank you for an introduction to this product !
I love this system, but the price is just way too high, hopefully it will drop down eventually, then I might just have to upgrade my system with these.
Just installed the 360 icue link aio. Love the quality of the radiator feels like one of their custom water cooled style radiators. My issue is the 90 degree cable that connects fan to the radiator is the cable sticks out towards the glass panel. Need to figure how to redo it
Yeah thats what im going through right now. The only real solution is to flip the radiator which is how Corsair displays this thing anyway. Idk how i feel about those wires being so close to my exhaust fan though
can u do one corsair node with 10 fans fella?...planning this exact fan system and aio iteration in 5000d with the extra 3 fans on side fitting...pls say its possible?😊...thankyou
Does anyone know what Corsair case will be best for the ice link as the 7000x seems to be for the commander hub things and doesn’t look like it has a slot for he hun
Can you use a non icue link aio with icue link fan system?
i do not have to remove my MB to install this righ?(AMD)
Not necessarily
Question Prawn, I have the 7000x RGB Case with three front fans and one rear fan (all non-Link type) connected to the pre-installed Commander Pro XT. I also plan to install the H170 Elite LCD AIO (not link) that I already have on hand. I'd like to add 4 QX Link fans to the side panel just to reduce cable hassle. So as I see it I will have 3 individual controllers running 3 sets of fans. The Commander Pro XT with its 4 fans, the AIO with its 3 fans and controller, and the add on 4 Link fans with its control hub. My assumption that the 3 controllers will be independent of each other BUT (I hope) iCue software will somehow be able to handle the management of all three fan sets?? Is this right or is there another way to make this particular setup work? Appreciate your help in figuring this out before I build! Thx.
Yup should be fine.
@@TheProvokedPrawn I want to just say thanks again as it is reassuring that I had it figured out correctly before I proceed with the build. And I really enjoy the depth you get into leaving nothing out! Well Done!
What bracket is that for the nano tiles inside the pc?
www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-components-accessories/cc-8900683/gpu-anti-sag-bracket-black-cc-8900683
More complexity, more cost but less cables ? Hmm I am not so sure about this. You still need all the power cables and all that stuff and the cables will end up behind the motherboard, never to be seen for the next 2 years or so so who cares ?
Looks great but bit expensive..
Agreed
hello what is your graphics card support ?
It's Corsair's anti sag bracket
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thx!
In your here shown system you evacuate the hot air through the radiator on top which causes the CPU to increase even more temp and produce even more heat. I would not recommend that air flow design.
ruclips.net/video/qQcyYHGtArs/видео.html
Good God! I would need to spend $450 just for the fans. No thanks.
