James, as all of your videos, i thoroughly enjoyed your carbon fiber decal and 2K clear application on the Ken Block Mustang project! Can't wait for the next 2 videos!
Oh, forgot tamyia, antistatic brush. I didn't know they made them, I'm off to buy 1, save me blowing 🌬🌬 all the time, and in a lot of times it doesn't work, and also some spit 😢 brilliant info ❤
Love the in depth look at the clear coat. Many people paint in many differrent ways but I think the base fundamentals are similar for all. I am surprised at the difference in engine sizes but I supposed it happens a lot depending on the designer. I think most models are a little fudged in their sizes when shrunk down anyway. This is shaping up to be a first class build sir.
@@ScaleModelExperiment Thanks for your encouragement my friend. Unfortunately I was too excited in Japan and didn't film the places we visited, just a ton of photos! I know.. I'm stupid! However at least I'm working on a video showing what I bought, and that's coming online soon at least :)
Absolutely loving this, STS Decals do a fantastic job and have the best products, James its turning out 💯% awesome, great tips for everyone. I am looking forward to seeing the next show, enjoy your weekend 🍻 KC 🇦🇺🦘🪃🤙
Hi Dave, to be fair I don’t know the real size of the engine so I can’t say who’s is the right size. I’ll play with proportions a little and see what I can figure out.
Decals and clear look great James. I need to slow my roll a little when I do mine.👍🏼 I’ve noticed on a few of Motabas motors are a little big. I printed a 1/16th hemi for my road runner, and no way it even fits in engine bay. I never printed a new one, but I’m thinking 4-6% decrease in scale will get me there. Again, great looking car.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks Ray, I’ve already started working on next weeks video. The chassis is going to be awesome!
Really enjoying seeing the Ken Block Mustang coming alive stage by stage. Music fits as well !
Thank you! You’re the first to comment on the music 👍

Thanks Michael! I appreciate you man!

Yes, get yourself a Tamiya anti static brush. I wish I had one years ago!
@@ScaleModelExperiment got 1, it's on its way, 🤙🦘🍻🇦🇺

Looking great my friend!!!!!!
Thanks Brother!
Wow! Looks awesome already! I've seen the issue you're having myself with 3d printed parts. Sometimes it's not the size but the proportions are off.

@@ScaleModelExperiment that's exactly what I do, sometimes mix and match parts till something works.

Hi BigChef, thank you for watching👍 I agree, I’ll play with the scale a little but probably use the stock motor this time.
beautifull work
Thank you firefly👍
Really cool. 👍
Thanks so much GFIP!👍 I appreciate you watching.

Thanks Ronny 👍
What 2k clear did you use? Great work!
The brand of 2k is called No-Name. I bought it from Spraygunner.com it’s a good clear and inexpensive. Thanks for watching👍
