Well this video took a little longer than expected. 😆 As always thank you all for watching and for your patience! This was certainly a fun video to make, and we've got some more great content coming soon. 👍
Storyboards are supposed to be simple and quick to get the point across. I worked with some guy that was trying to make every board a work of art and I was like. I just need it done.
This is terrific fun - congratulations! I absolutely didn't notice the transition from cardboard prop building to CGI background. I imagine that the action was gripping enough to allow "suspension of disbelief" to weave its magic.
hey man that was one awesome scene. but i was thinking it might be cool to add one of those water smoke generators in the truck, so it looks like the radiator blew or something like that so you can kinda visualise that it is broken. it is just an idea ;P
Dude, this is so cool! I think the wafers may break better if you dehydrated them, especially after adding paint. Could also score the backs of them. Thai spring roll wrappers look like rough concrete when you spray with oil and bake. It puffs a little bit
I was waiting but it never came. When shooting miniatures, you should shoot at 90fps or 45fps depending on the scale of the car. When played back at 24fps, it will give the appearance of being full scale.
This absolutely awesome!!!Excellent job and alway's lookin forward to your next video and ideas!!!Keep up the awesome hard work!!!We need more of this!!💯😎
"We're literally just a couple of guys having some fun with RC cars", sorry but you're a little more than just that. I mean the fact that you storyboard your shots, you clearly know before the filming starts exactly how you want each shot to turn out… This makes you 100% more professional and prepared than anyone involved with any of the latest Disney series. I believe that the 'Acolyte' had up to 200 million per episode to spend and they were actually rewriting, ah, no I don't think they would have had anything to rewrite, more of a second thought I guess, because a second draft implies that there was a first. Before this turns into a full blown 'old man yells at the sky' I'd just like to say that you have done an excellent job, well done, well done indeed. Film making should be 100% a meritocracy, not a room full of the types of people who are too passionate about diversity and its all encompassing privileges to even consider they're dangerously under-brained. 🙃👍 Oh, for the love of Dog, have a wall of text and the knowledge that there is an old man somewhere not so politely telling the sky to return his bleeding glasses, and how it has been consistently and routinely disappointed in him since the day he was born, and it is about time it pulled its socks up and just get on with it.

I can see the amount of work that went into this, great idea with the treadmill I have to say 👍
Having to much fun 🎉
I think you’ve nailed the detail for an action scene. 😊
In my humble opinion I think you did a great job with the design and the materials you used for this video.Nicely done.

it is just an idea ;P
Thank you! Great idea. 👍
Very cool. Iam mostly interested in the city model 😅
Great video and such creativity with the props . Still would love to see a police 🚨 chase some time 😊
Almond flour may be something to consider for dust/dirt. Also, Nerds painted white, gray and black could also be used as small scale stones.
Great work.
Be interesting to experiment with with tinfoil panels to simulate dents.
I watched your video on crushable car bodies. A few made up for videos like this would add some realism.
takes me back to when I made a street out of cardboard boxes only to burn it all down for a short film i made 25 years ago.
lol, Yeah I've thought about a scene with fire on a few occasions considering just about everything is cardboard. 😄
@@MakeItRC I think i used polyfiller to fire proof the immediate area of where i was spraying the petrol. crazy really thinking back, but fun times.
What are you going to do with those leftover cookies, bro? 😂
This looked like it was a ton of fun to make. Awesome video. 👍👍👍
Dude, this is so cool!

Thank you. I agree, the paint seemed to soften them up.
Print a texture roller for cardboard buildings, adds a ton of detail really easy
Great idea. 👍
@@MakeItRC If you need any help ill be more than happy to model a few rollers for you to print

Great job! Don't deemphasize your budget though, those wafer cookies don't buy themselves . . . .
Mebbee airbrush ink on yer waffeürrs next time? Great vid tho., u did good. 🎬
Just 3d print small blocks and make a small wall it’ll look way better
shame it seems like the algorithm didn't like this video, 704 views after 4 hours is unfortunate
This absolutely awesome!!!Excellent job and alway's lookin forward to your next video and ideas!!!Keep up the awesome hard work!!!We need more of this!!💯😎
Thank you! I'm keeping the videos coming as fast as I can! 👍
@MakeItRC 💯😎
4:57 is that an intercooler hanging on the wall?!?

Thank you for your kind words. There was a little improvising here and there but we had fun and worked with what we had. 😄
Cookies? Where the damn cookies
🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
Make the bodys out of alumnium can for realism
That would be cool. 👍
