Man that chassis is awesome. Love that all the parts are pinned in. Great coverage of your sanding and polishing. Appreciate the insight into your process.
Yeahhh, definitely 'getting closer' James! Nice work and well done.. both for the polishing and also cleaning the 3D prints to a beautiful smooth finish. Looking forward for the next update.
James, I enjoyed the chassis build and body polishing. As usual, your work is to incredible standards! That chassis has insane detail!!! Its mind blowing when you put the body and interior on the chassis near the end of the video, such a great looking model from 3D! Its gonna look incredible with the engine and wheels on when done!!!!
Thanks for watching Steven. Next time I build this kit (hint hint) I’ll do a better job. The suspension was tricky to pin together and the drivetrain was seriously challenging. Good luck with your build!
Hi shooter. They are the same bolts. I sized them from 75% to 275% so I’d have an assortment. Not sure where I got them. Probably cults. I know Slowlys models has some similar for free.
Great work James, that chassis looks killer. Do you like the Tamiya polishing blocks? I've considered getting some, but so far my glasses cleaning cloth methods seems okay. But I don't know what I don't know, so maybe the Tamiya product is better.
When I started polishing the top with ceramic compound by hand it was not enough to get the scratches out so I switched to the pads with finish compound. The pads are a little more aggressive when using compounds which is what I needed. If you’re getting good results with a glasses cloth stick with it. If you need more ooumpf use the pads.
The rotary tool is from Laski Scale scaleproshop.com/products/tacklife-3-7v-li-on-cordless-rotary-tool the pads are from Amazon. They are 1” foam with velcro. I applied 2 mist coats of 2k and 1 wet coat. I was worried about the decals so I needed the 2 mist coats.
Hi Kurt, I downloaded the bolts from Cults. Slowly’s models has some free ones to download. I upsized them to 10 different sizes for any application I need them for.
Hi James where did you get the suspension bolts from, what glue are you using in the pipette and did you worry about drain holes or filling parts of the chassis in Chitubox. Thanks
Hi Jon, I sized and printed the same bolts in many sizes. You can get free ones from slowlys models on cults. I use Bob smith industries gold thin with a pipette type applicator. I don’t worry about making drain holes at all in Chitubox. I actually turn that function off. Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks Spencer 👍 it was challenging to say the least😁 just wait for the 42 rivets in the body😂. I appreciate you man!
That is looking sweet, James! And it reminds me that I need to wet sand my Porsche build.
Thanks JD👍 I really should work on my technique so I don’t have to wet sand for 8+ hours 😂
Wow she looks awesome
Thanks so much Travis👍
Really looking great, There sure is a lot of detail on the front end, nice. Think I'll add this kit to my list.
Thanks Juan, it’s a great kit. He also offers a chassis that’s already assembled with the suspension pieces. I wanted to try the resin printed bolts 😁
Looks great 👍
Thanks so much Ronny!👍
Nice progress! I still get giddy knowing you created it from a bottle of goo.
Hehehe, I forgot! Stinky goo😂
You do such excellent work. Your builds and tutorials never get old if I make it to the nnl next year I will be wearing a t shirt

@@ScaleModelExperiment Thanks, there are definitely times I need a little more cut, so I might grab a set next time I hit the hobby shop.
@scaleffect they are cheap and last forever!
Where did you get the rotary tool sponges? Also, how many coats of clear prior to final sanding? Thanks.
