    Got my filter from Amazon and it fit perfect I also dated for my records.

    To help me remember when I last changed it, I take a marker or pen and write the install date on the side of the filter. When you pop off the cover, you'll have the date staring you in the face - and you can determine whether you want to change it yearly or by mileage [you'll write the miles if you want it based on miles].

      @harveyalan788 Год назад

      Great idea to record the date, however I I would write it some that's visible without emptying and dismantling the glove box. Or both places.

    Thanks for the tutorial! Stupid easy to change it out and inexpensive, the dealership recommended replacement and wanted to charge me $75 for the filter and labor! I told them no of course and I will do it myself!

      Yes, the dealership will empty your pockets. I’m changing mine as well.

    Switch that out for the “FRAM FRESH BREEZE” cabin filter much better. Keep the content coming.

      I'm not big on scents in a car but thanks for the recommendation for everyone else 👍

      In that case try the wix xp with pur-air to get rid of odors lol no but really it’s a good filter

      I went OEM just like you Dan and began getting a mildew smell after changing it (odd should be the total opposite). Went with FRAM FRESH FREEZE and took care of the smell. The FRAM one isn’t actually scented the paper medium is a lot thicker and infused with activated carbon to get rid of odor. Check it out if you run into the same problem as me.

      @@davidsk8s77 thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind if I get any odors.

    What’s up buddy, I have a CRV. I’ve been driving it 2 1/2 years. I went to change my cabin filter and my air filter under the hood. Both of them look brand new I don’t understand it. I put 17,000 miles on the car since replacing them. I don’t know if I should complain or be happy about it. I’ll check it out all the road signs when you drive. I live in ronkonkoma so I know the area. Well take care bud safe driving

    Hey Dan, love the content. Super helpful video! Was just curious as to how your lowering springs are holding up as of now. I'm interested in lowering my 2018 EX-L 1.5T and I'm not too sure if I should go with lowering springs or coils. I keep hearing on forums that lowering springs are gonna destroy my OEM stocks & struts. Not looking for a super aggressive drop either, probably a 1.2 inch like yours with the H&Rs. Any pointers or recommendations? Sorry for the question that is totally unrelated to the video. Keep up the great work, wishing the best for you & yours!

    • @DanVilla7
      @DanVilla7  3 года назад

      Thanks. The springs are great and the shocks are holding up just fine. No issues at all. Coilovers are nice, If I were to blow a shock I would probably switch to BC Coilovers

    • @harveyalan788

      Why did you lower the springs?

    Thanks for this video, how many miles did you have on your car when you replaced the filter?

    • @DanVilla7
      @DanVilla7  3 года назад

      You're welcome! It was too long the car has almost 23k miles first time changing it. I never got any odors from it main reason I haven't done maintenance on it up until now

    How are the lasfit mats holding up? Are they grippy to the shoes? Do your feet slip on the mats when shoes are wet?

    • @DanVilla7

    Is ebay best best place to buy OEM honda parts vs the stealership?

    • @DanVilla7
      @DanVilla7  3 года назад +1

      A lot of times yes but make sure they are genuine because some sellers try to pass aftermarket as oem.

    Probably the dirtiest filter I have ever seen. Did mine last week. Dumped a K&N cabin filter in there. Changed mine at 25k miles. Was just a bit dirty.
