Yes. And often the script writers write crappy stories for him. They make this awesome huge toy but the writers cant seem to write anything good for the larger bots. They often go in "sleep mode" and wake up to be used as some military hardware to use season 3 terminology. This show you commented on, he was in sleep hibernation and only to be used by humans to defend the planet. The last 2 shows he was just a giant bot standing there like an elephant in the room. After he blasted this shows Megatron/Galvatron he just did nothing. Japanese Headmasters imo wrote him a better storyline.
