@@dr10mr72 all 3. Fortress. The smaller bot is the one in control of all 3. Battleship Maximus is the name of the body that is used to form Fortress Maximus. In season 4 of the American version they wanted organic beings controlling the bots. In Japanese they are know as Cyberdroids, small large human sized bots. So in America, in the Marvel comics and American cartoons they were organic. i have my issues with them being organic. They really messed up the cartoon with that. They would show the organics inside the heads looking out of their eyes sitting in a chair and they would transform and in exosuits. The toys will show you, the head is inside the body. I prefer the Japanese version.

@@THE14THPRIME229 Hahaha. Yeah, I still dont feel it to be The best and still defend my stance. I know many people are chanting it to be the BEST. and I just dont feel it. but I helped support it. I did notice Lucafilms listed in the credits. Why it did have some Star Wars feel in it and its kind of expected though. I supported it. And recorded that bit with the story of Primus so I can ponder over it more. That entire backstory, I'm not for it.

nah. I don’t like all the extreme close-ups especially during battles. I like to see whats happening. Its something else, say like you're doing a movie based on history and don't want to have an entire cityscape in the background, like the pyramids and you have to frame the scene but this is all animation. So, modern editing doesn't do much for me. The best scenes is where you have an actor performing a long monologue and the camera is only on the actor and a extreme slow zoom in. You don’t get scenes like that now. Every 2 seconds something needs to be moving.

I don't know, it could be the quality of the video uploaded. Maybe this version was digitized from VHS before being uplaoded to YT. Maybe it's the way the Japanese prefer it. I can't tell you for certain.

@@UlyssesAlpha yes. j edit a video of all the voice actors of Fortress Maximus. I prefer the storyline that the tiny bots made up the heads, not organics. That's just disgusting and you need to be triple jointed to form these things. what is shooting out of the bots that turn into guns, hmm? ewe. nah. The entire organic body needs to be converted. I've been writing a Pentalogy based on the Headmasters series of them being Cyberdroids. The first 2 partd are nearly done. just some touch ups. Then i move forward with part 3. I have brainstormed some ideas that came from Season 4, I may use the key idea they have in there but that entire season was crap. I don't know why people defend it. "It could have been done better" nope. we got what we got. it is what it is, no could have been. I will forever defend the Headmasters series and with the Japanese voice actors with English captions. I hope to do something with my script once I'm done writing it. Its been a year so far. The first 2 have been the most difficult imo because I'm laying down so much ground work. MASTER SWORD!

@@matthewmccoyd2578 thats lame. Fortress was always hated in America. you can tell by the dub. Only in Japan was he shown with respect. Marvel didn't like him either. Spike abandoning him. Fortress ends up being a joke and disrespected.

Thats funny. This is the original Predacons. Before these the first animal bots were Soundwave cassettes, Ravage, Laserbeak and Buzzsaw. Many cars and planes. Eventually they seem to be making tanks everywhere. Megatron became one.

Interesting to call it a soft reboot. I can see that. They had to explain Headmasters to the kids. They definitely didn’t go into detail about Black Zarak and Scorponok. I also think it’s their version of the humans becoming a transforming body to a larger bot like with Marvel comics and season 4. And a flesh creature becoming an engine for a robot is a bit disgusting and disturbing. What exactly is begin converted into energy from a flesh being? And the movie the Matrix would take this idea and ran with it. Not only that, the human needed to be triple jointed.

@@tripleairgoddess I think the portrayal of the Godmasters and Headmaster Jrs as humans piloting mechs may have also been Takara's way of taking Transformers lore back to its Diaclone roots. Likewise, Browning seems to be a nod to the Microchange toyline, which consisted of tiny robots that transformed into weapons or household items. Both Hasbro and Takara's versions of the Headmasters branched off from the same idea. Originally they were going to be smaller robots that combined with larger robots. You can see a bit of the original concept in the first Headmasters toy commercial.
