Brandon Ryan F1 V10 and V12 engines rev at 20k rpm, this car does half that. You're right though, the deeper bass notes make it sound nicer compared to the shrill screaming of older F1 engines. Somehow the LFA sounds like an F1 BRM V16, that had a deeper rumble combined with the thin scream of a supercharger.

I was absolutely fortunate to have sat in and revved an LFA in a Chicago parking garage. It very well may be the best sounding stock exhaust road car of all time.

Allegedly, someone's LFA was written off after it fell off a truck. Understandably, the owner was devastated. I don't want to think about any more that have been so much as scratched, but this truly is a magnificent car.
