I used to work at a Lexus dealership as an apprentice it the shop. The owner had ordered one and the guy I was apprenticed to was the only one who was qualified to do the Pre-Delivery Inspection. On a regular vehicle this took a couple hours. On The LFA it took two days. Big wigs from Cali came in to ensure all paperwork was perfect and that the Inspection was completed exactly as detailed in the very long guide.
The bottom is nearly completely covered in carbon fiber panels to ensure air passes under with zero buffet spots in the mechanics. 2 piece windshield that costs 15,000, resonant chamber just before the 3 split exhaust tubes, part of the reason for the note of the engine. Yes the amount of engineering that went into this car is insane. Unfortunately I was able to participate in the drive but damn it was quite the two days.
