I love how people will risk their lives (and in this case, the whole families) just to not have to wait for one more exit, some people should not be allowed to drive.
Driving is definitely not a right. Licensing requirements should be strict in the US (Japan is a decent model)

@@rainonedavid3564 Uh, what? Seriously, do you have any idea how lenient licensing requirements are in the US? If you are 18 or over you simply need to take a ludicrously easy written test (not remotely as easy or brief in Germany) and an equally as simple driving test. One of each, that's it.
In Germany there are many hours of training and studying to do to even qualify.
Japan is also nearly a full death lower per 100k registered vehicles than Germany. Not insignificant. If the US's licensing requirements were anywhere close to as strict Germany's it would be fine...

As you’re talking about people not noticing the LFA, I was sitting at that light in the opposite direction and almost snapped my neck trying to get a better look at it. Haha the sad part is the exit the Tesla took and the next exit bring you to the same place basically. The first exit the Tesla took actually gets more congested with traffic so taking the next one would’ve saved him more time

What kills me about the Tesla driver is that it looked like (according to your rear view at around 8:47) that he could've gone in the slow lane and take the exit normally but he didn't do anything remotely close to that. That guy was an absolute maniac.
I couldn't even THINK of doing a manourver like that solo never mind with kids in the back seat.
He realised he needed to take the exit as he drove under the signs. The only crazy thing is that he was so close to not making it when he decided to go for it.

The LFA sounds crazy.
Definitely one of the classic cars of the future. I love the LFA but I swear to god Lexus community is the worst. It’s worse than Tesla owners. They can’t handle criticism, even the person says good things about the car, they just ignore it. The person I’m talking about is Doug DeMuro. This past week he made a video on the IS 500 and the comments are full of haters saying BS things like he’s a “hater” and he’s “biased” towards Lexus, which is not true. Doug says that the LFA is the greatest sounding car ever. I wish Lexus community can calm the fuck down for once and touch grass. Doug getting hate is a normal thing, and it’s really sad for all the wrong reasons.

@@yungboicontigo9278 I mean he trashed the infotainment system on the IS500 by criticizing the touchpad (yes, we all understand that no one enjoys it, objectively it's a bad feature and every reviewer has overstated it a million times) without even acknowledging the fact that they did in fact update it to a touchscreen. Had any viewer watched the video without knowing that beforehand then people would be misinformed. The demographic of people that buy that car will also be enthusiasts who will primarily care about the fact it's a NA V8 engine with 472 horsepower, the last of a dying breed, the tech features aren't the selling point.

Lived in Mass my whole life & when I first realized this legendary Lexus i said the chances of seeing it around my way would be slim. It’s also hilarious how no one really would notice a one of a kind super like the LFA unless it was a lambo or Ferrari 😪 thanks for the vid 🙏🏽

The LFA is beautiful… also for some reason, Tesla drivers tend to do that. Whether it be cutting people off at exits or accelerating to fuck with people because of their instant torque… some people shouldn’t have that power 🙃😂
@Jenn Psnakey I think the Tesla demographic just appeals to these sort of people. People want something quick and that’s how the use the torque. Have a friend who is an awful driver at 40 something and drives her Model 3 Performance like that

@@rainonedavid3564 to be fair, I don’t think speed is an issue. It’s moreso maneuvering in and out of lanes, quick braking, etc. when other people are around. Trust me, I’ve seen my fair amount of Infiniti, BMWs, and others doing this on the freeway… but Teslas are also getting up there.
The LFA is something else. I kind of love how no one really knows what it is until they hear it absolutely howl to the redline

Actually the car was the one that controlled it...
Tesla has some of the most advanced traction control of any road car, it's pretty insane what they are capable of, more so with terrible drivers behind the wheel. The massive center of gravity weight they have also make them literally impossible to flip.
The plaid breaking the EV WR on the ring of hell is proof of the insane tech tesla has (even beyond some pedigree multi-million dollar racecars). You'd have to be stupid not to buy a tesla if you can afford one.

@@evolicious You have to be stupid not to buy one if you are a terrible driver like the guy in the video. If you know how to drive a tesla might not be an option by several reasons, one of them being the limited range or just no offroad capabilities, etc. Different locations and different people need different cars.

I've always said that if I ever drove a car that had this little ground clearance that I would put a high quality air ride system on it. So when I got into a situation like at 6:57, I'd just put the bags up all the way and give myself an extra 3 or 4 inches. I know it would be really high especially if you're buying quality, but imagine how much money it would potentially save plus just the piece of mind from knowing you don't have to worry about every little bump on the road.

It's true that it has that "sleeper" vibe, or less "extravaganza" compared to other supercars, especially in that dark grey, but what I like is it blends into traffic a bit more, and deep down, you know how much effort they put in and how they made it. From a craftsman perspective, it's one of the best !
(Thankfully they got away with that stupid move with the Tesla, good thing the batteries are so low, chassis are so good these days even with billion pounds of stuff in it, can't do that with my e28 that for sure ahah)

That Tesla reminded me of that one time I was on a bus on a highway, and this car literally hard braked in front of us because they didn’t want to miss their exit. Not even a big car, it was a Suzuki Ignis. Would’ve been dead if they got rear ended by a bus.

The LFA is a good example of people with money who actually enjoy cars and driving, while most other super/hyper car owners care more about the way they are perceived by others more than the actual joy of driving.

More LFA content is always welcome! That car show is a perfect place to take an LFA for sure. It fits right in with the classics - maybe because it is one.
The Lexus LFA is a "If you know, you know" flex; simple as that. 😀 Can understand the plebes out there not knowing what it is upon first glance (SC430? Ouch!) But they ought to know it's something special the second it screams a little. 🙂
