I was the cyclist you passed on the way up App Gap. I'll never forget the sound of that v10 screaming up the gap. I knew it was an LFA before I saw it. That engine. So fucking cool.

Exactly. This car is #2 on my list right after the laf aperta. But maaan I love this car so much I can't describe it. it's like everything about it is pure perfection and I would gladly watch 10 hours of twisty roads in this car.

My "alternative" dream cars are Ferrari 812GTS or older and cheaper F12 Berlinetta, but ONLY equipped with Novitec exhausts. Search up POVs of these, I would say these sound just as good if not slightly better than LFA

San Francisco Toyota has one with like a couple hundred miles for 1 million and a Nurburgring edition for 2 million
Try over a million, these cars are the modern equivalent to the 2000GT, “overpriced” for its performance numbers and therefor under appreciated in their time only for people to later realize that the car has other selling points beyond just its performance numbers leading it’s collectibility to skyrocket.

What I love about this video is firstly the car. What a machine! But the main takeaway I have is how respectful Tedward is. He’s enjoying the car and having fun but he’s driving within his limits, only using the other side of the yellow line if he can see it’s clear beforehand. Awesome content, respect the drive
Yup shoutout to Tedward for driving in a respectful and relatively safe manner. I don't think most of the others on the really were doing the same.
Finally, someone who drives an LFA and keeps the engine revs high, instead of constantly changing gears.

"This car has always been under-appreciated" yeah buddy calling a car that seels for 1.6 Million€ under-aprreciated is a weird statement. Its currently the most overhyped sportscar (not even a supercar) on the market. Its completely overblow and overhyped and the only reason is because its sounds good. Nothing else. Looks bland, drives okay for a sportscar, lacks power. (All compared to the cars you can get for half the money of the LFA asking price).

Just sharing, but in the Philippines, there is an LFA in the Lexus dealership. There are only 3 LFAs in the Philippines, if im not mistaken, and that is one of them.
Its my dream car, and believe it or not, I saw one literally on my birthday, it was sitting in the Yamaha Museum Japan and I checked out nothing but was just staring at it for like 3hrs. Believe me, its unreal to see one in person, like it feels like life aint syncing. The car has gone up far in value and a good one will bring you down $1m

Thank you for posting a lot of LF-A videos you are the best. And I really don't mind that it doesn't have a dual clutch gearbox just like the M5 E60 doesn't because it's so much better to hear the shift actually for those kind of cars.

The best v10 sound
That stretch on Route 17 over the Appalachian Gap is one of my all-time favorite drives. I imagine doing it in an LFA would be fantastic!
Great road! I was lucky enough to be handed the keys to a 308GTS for that drive. Tried to duplicate it a year later in my Sentra SE-R and discovered what brake fade is really like!

Top notch work Tom. You really captured the feeling of being in a rally with a high performance car. It's tough to descrbe to someone the energy you get driving at that level, for that length of time, while passing and running the radio. Doing it in an LFA is all the better. Too bad you didn't get a clean pass on the App gap but you still sent it hard (gotta get up there at sunrise for a clean run). However your M3 video is still tops. God I love Vermont, it's just surreal.

Amazing road and car
Vermont's roads are SUPER underrated to drive on (and actually the state of vermont as a whole) , especially this one road called lincoln gap road in the mad river valley, it's so windy they even have to close it in the winter lol
If you’re ever back in VT you gotta try the drive from Burlington to Montpelier on Route 2. They just repaved a lot of it and it’s so nice to drive on.

This is so sick, this is one of my favorite cars of all time and the fact that you got to drive it through Vermont and some awesome northern New England backroads (I’m from New Hampshire) is just so incredibly awesome. Hope to do this some day too.

Question: what's the best (sub50K) car for living in Vermont? We're talking winter, bumpy dirt roads, but amazing pavement as well.
Even in lower rpm’s it sounds amazing. Can drive and enjoy the sound without keeping near redline.
