Welcome to ScreenCrush, I’m Ryan Arey, and this is all of the easter eggs, references, and little things that you might have missed in episodes one through 3 of Andor. If you’ve only seen the first episode, watch us for a while, watch the next one, and come back. We’ll be here waiting for you, because you’re amazing.
Now a lot of you are going to think this show starts off kind of slow, and takes a while to get going. And you’re not wrong.
But so far, this is one thing I love about this show. It's an origin story for both Cassian Andor, and for the Rebellion. These first three episodes really take their time showing the day to day life in the galaxy. Not through the eyes of a jedi or a pirate-but through a poor person. These people are just like the junk all over their planet-they’ve all been discarded by the wealthy.
This is the key element to forming a rebellion. If the empire treated all its citizens well and everyone earned a living wage, then there never would have been a revolution. But this show is showing us the economic underpinnings of the rebellion. It’s showing us why we fight.
I’m actually super glad this is a star wars project with space wizards. They’re only special if they’re rare.
Maybe this show is more geared toward adults than past Star wars projects. There is a lot of 80s tech laying around to fuel our nostalgia. But if there’s rom for different genres in Star wars, then I say, why not have a star wars show that f***s.
I’m going to go into more detail about the show’s themes, and explain the flashbacks a little later in the videos. But first, let’s go through some easter eggs.
The first easter egg is in the title screen: Cassian’s droid, B2EMO has joined the droids in the opening star wars title. Next we go to the blackness of space, the great unknown. At this point in history, small rebel cells are beginning to form on different planets, with no contact to one another. Each of them is isolated, but they’re looking into this same darkness and wondering if there are other rebels out there, like them. Then, slowly, dawn comes onto a planet. The reveal of light in the galaxy is a theme in Star Wars that keeps recurring as a symbol of hope. There’s the light of the jedi, Rey’s name is ray like a ray of light, and force awakens was pretty over the top with this symbolism.
Showing dawn on this world is appropriate because the series is showing us the dawn of the rebellion. And then the letters of Andor’s name slowly drift together, like the different rebel bands in the galaxy slowly forming a united military unit. This is also symbolizing how Andor himself was going to come into his own in this series. And finally the dawn of the planet becomes a proto rebel alliance symbol, because the dawn of the rebellion is a new dawn for the galaxy,
You’ll notice that the planet font matches the style of Rogue One: A Star Wars story, which is a prequel to A New Hope, and this show is kind of a prequel to that movie.
We open on Morlana One, a corporate zone.
Here’s what this means. So when America was being industrialized, a company would open up a factory in town, and then build a town around it. These were company towns, where every other business like groceries stores, bars, etc.--basically existed to serve that factory. And we’re seeing the same thing here.
Morlana is a network of planets that is ruled by this corporation. Now the empire supports this organization, they pay taxes to the government, and supply them with material-but the empire has no interest in governing this place directly. It’s kind of like the cloud city in the empire strikes back. That was a mining facility that was trying to keep the empire from being interested in them. - Кино
What did you think of the premiere of Andor? Where’s it rank among the other Star Wars Disney+ shows to you?
I can take it and/or leave it. Not excited bout SW atm. Will wait & see what everyone says
Cringe af_
THE. TENSION. 😬 I spent most of those episodes scared!
So far so good. I am really enjoying this series. I have no idea what the cringe is about, but very fun live action.
I thought is was awesome. Didn't think is was slow at all. It's called world building.
Blade runner vibes all throughout!!! It's what star War has been needing for a while now. The grittness to everything makes the world feels so lived in.
Yes! Dirty sci-fi is back!! 👊👍
I thought exactly this!
Opening scenes!!! Total blade runner vibes
So True! loved the soviet era vibes of the Morlana Buildings (much like the Minsk Library complex)
Note that in the flashbacks Andor wanted to go with the raiding party. He was one of the first to notice the crash survivor get up, but did not warn his leader. And even when everyone was shooting darts at the crash survivor, he didn't. Maybe that's why he started to smash his reflection.
Visual storytelling without spelling it out to you. So refreshing in Disney Star Wars. You saw that in the Mandalorian.
Not the bees!!!
@@clanwaddell5628 ghgh
We don't know that he was the first to see them be alive, as were focused on seeing the narrative from his perspective right?
I love how andor isn't afraid to straight up kill at point blank they kept it consistent to how he was in rogue one.
in fairness he did seem pretty cut up about it afterwards, but you're right, its consistent. he analyzed the situation and knew he had no other choice. the guard knew it too, thats why he started basically begging for his life with an alternative
Cassian shot first.
This show is awesome. Definitely see why they put out three episodes instead of one. The drama, the slow intensity, all works. Diego Lina’s performance is what I like also. I’m a huge fan of Rogue One and this is right up it’s alley
I think just the first two would have worked, especially with the way Ep. 2 ended with that shot of Andor walking through the junkyard, but I'm glad we got three.
@@andrewshandle 2 would of worked but the ending of episode 3 with the beginning drama being tied up was perfect imo
Agree around! So happy we got 3 (I was super surprised tbh!) But I wonder if they did they d/t the backlash of the "fan base" with Obiwan and Book of Boba with the slow builds and no one understanding a story that hasn't been told yet. Idk but I love it! If they did 1 episode or 3, this is an awesome series and I'm in for the long haul!
*Diego Luna
Cassian telling Luthian about just walking in because they can't believe someone like him would dare take from the Empire reinforces the brief back and forth in A New Hope about the Empire not seeing small one man fighters as a threat or they'd have a tighter defense. If the Empire ever had the thought someone like Cassian would just walk right on in and take their stuff, they'd have tighter security. But they don't because they don't see the threat just one person can be against their mighty Empire. Nice little tie in to the first movie if you ask me.
British special forces said this about the Nazi's in WW2. They were so arrogant you could walk in and take the glasses of their face and they'd only notice when they see how small their nobs are!!😂😂
My favorite part in andor is when
Andor said It's Andor Time and Andored over the guards
Or the time a Jedi smuggled a child out of an Imperial fortress under his coat.
The real reason is how little the upper echelon cares about the middle echelon. Just like in society, the lowest and highest in the Imperial power circle is the worst. At the bottom there are corrupt officers and civil servants trading documents to terrorist organisations, at the top there are the uncaring Sith and those that they have elevated to power to carry out their own machinations
Man, Diego Luna does a fantastic job at conveying quiet animosity. That monologue about the arrogance of the Empire and how it’s their weakness was fantastic. He really sells this character. Cassian Andor may very well become one the most iconic characters of contemporary Star Wars. I’m loving what this show is doing so far.
I was an extra on this, and you showed my face.
It was a great experience... SO much more cool stuff awaits you all :)
What time are you at in this video?
Where at
What set were you on in the show?

These 3 episodes built a damn good world. It felt so lived in. And it felt like the Empire is such a big force on the galaxy. I love watching the pieces of the rebellion coming together. And such good cinematography
I felt like I just watched the entire series with how deeply invested those 3 episodes had me. The end of the 3rd one felt like a finale with how deep it was.
@@nepatrul6075 the music in the last scenes combined with the cinematography gave me chills
the third episode is absolutely beautiful... probably one of the most enjoyable episodes/scenes out of any of the star wars universe for me...
Fiona Shaw is such an amazing actress, I didn't expected that after this first episodes I would be unable to hate Petunia Dursley anymore
Andor's weapon in ep 3 is a bryar pistol. Kyle Katarn's signature weapon from the Dark Forces series.
Yes, this! We all know who really stole the DS plans... perhaps Cassian's alias was Katarn :)
Came here to say the same - good spot.
It was? It didn't look as cylindrical
I knew that looked familiar!
That’s such a cool detail
The banging of *stuff* as an intimidation tactic is similar to what communities did during 'the Troubles' in Northern Ireland...except they used metal bin lids.
It also Show the facist side of the empier
They do that in prison when the dog comes to let you know.
Except they whistle. A specific whistle.
it's also a thing in Central and South America. It's called cacerolazo
I find the Pre-Mor law enforcement ships that lands on Ferrix very similar to the LAAT Republic attack gunship from the Attack of the Clones
anyone else love that the "Scottish" officer takes a pull off his secret flask while waiting for Cassian to come back into town?
11:46 This is the list of crimes that were stated to Jin Erso in one of the Rogue One trailers, for a scene that did not make it into the final cut.
Saddest thing I ever saw in Star Wars was that droid who was a mobile staircase for shuttles. Some droids translate, some navigate, some are companions. This sentient being's job was to let people walk on him.
I've noticed they're giving R5 a new lease of life in the Mandalorian.
Reminds me of Rick and morty
@erik johansen I’m dead lol
It was an honor, sir.
-all these droids
@erik johansen Droids are sentient in Star Wars
Is anyone else out there digging the musical scoring on ANDOR? It's one of the 1st things I noticed. Also, I really love that the producers decided to not subtitle young Andor and his Kenari peers. It works really well!
It's like watching a movie instead of a weekly episode of the A-Team. It's like Star Wars, Blade Runner, Dune and Heat had a baby and they named it Andor. I love it, Love the slow burn and the worlds and the people feel real, fleshed out and lived in.
They mentioned the gas, that it had been 20 minutes, and the gas was clear when you first see them salvaging the fuel cells. While the ship was flying through the air, you can see a trail of yellow smoke - the same color as the skin of the crew.
I'm sure it's been mentioned before but the planet name Kenari is similar to canary - like canary in a coal mine.
..or the volcanic Canary Islands
I absolutely love these Star Wars breakdown videos. I have been watching them since episode 1 of The Mandalorian, and it has become part of the show for me at this point. I always watch the episode, and after I close the Disney Plus window, I immediately open RUclips and watch the Screencrush video. The whole experience of watching all these Star Wars shows wouldn't be the same without it now!
I've also made it a game to try to guess when Ryan will say "That's your mom!", and say it with him! I was surprised when this video ended and my mom wasn't in it! Unless I missed it... XD
Ah, but the surprised face you made when you realized he hadn't said it: that's your mom.
Your mom will be in the season finale - she likes to make a BIG ENTRANCE 😉
6:50 - I believe the "space dog", as you call it, is a Correlian Hound, first seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
This show is amazing. I love the theme and the feel of it, this is definetly my favorite life action show so far.
I love it too. Not sure if I like it more than The Mandalorian. But time will tell. We are only 3 episodes in. STRONG Character and world building development. Great job to the production team on this one.
If the first three episodes are any indication, this will be the most mature Star Wars thing yet. The first Star Wars conceived truly for adults. The writing, performances, and production are on par with with the best prestige television has to offer. I could see people not all that into Star Wars in general, responding to this positively.
@@bobarctor2063 that's what i'm sayin, i love this style. Hopefully we get more sw content like this.
The best part of the series so far, bar none, is the Corporate Rent-a-Cops. From the performances, to the writing, to the motivations, they're so well done. A refreshing change from the almost cartoonishly simplistic Empire.
Yes, they are better than rent-a-cops. More like Blackwater security forces. They seemed to know how to hold rifles.
@@MrEguang Well, many of them seem incredibly inexperienced and they are panicking under pressure. Blackwater is more made up of ex-military, these guys feel more like some of the militia groups we see here in the US that _think_ they are combat vets, but mot definitely aren't.
half the battle is letting us see their face. faceless enemies are easier to use as cannon fodder for the good guys,
When I first met Doug a year or two ago, I thought he was a fun, silly addition to the channel. But now I fully understand he's the master of the lore.
This series is excellent. I feel like I'm watching part of the Star Wars world I've not seen before. It's so dark and gritty and the action scenes are so well shot and executed. After awhile I got tired of watching stormtroopers shoot and not hit anything, but Andor feels like the heroes can be hit anytime. I ALWAYS watch Screencrush whenever I finish watching my favorite shows, including House of Dragons, Lord of the Rings and the other Star Wars and Marvel projects, and your show really shows me things I haven't noticed before and gives me the insight of what is coming. For this I say......BRAVO SIR.....BRAVO!!! (clapping)
Man you didn’t even mention the reckoning line that was absolutely perfect
My favourite Easter egg was the VCX-100, in the shipyard. Possibly even the Ghost itself as the Phoenix cell was active at the time and did get around. I was surprised you didn't break that shot down as there were a few familiar ships all parked there. I also felt that B2EMO zapping the dog felt more like a Chopper act.
I like to think it's the Ghost itself, just because it makes me happy. The zapp from B2emo kinda like Chop, he would have cussed it out with the zap though
There was a Y-wing there as well.
Did I miss Ryan covering this? Skarsgard carrying a faux lightsaber with a retractable sword?
He is a collector so of course he would have badass things such as samurai mandalorian armor in episode 4
In the factory where Cassian is talking to Stellan Skarsgard. the big hanging hunks of metal appear to be the support arms of TIE fighters. I'd know those shapes anywhere. :)
Is it just me or is Doug getting more adorable in each vid? 😁
He’s getting more adorable
Doug is too cute ❤
Pew pew
I loved how the firefight in episode 3 had no music in the background
The editing at the end of ep 3 was sublime. Andor: Quake.
I like that they really take the time to establish their world and their characters. I think we've gotten so used to the six-episode-format of other disney+ shows that it now feels slow to many when there is four times as many episodes, but I really appreciate that the story can breathe here. And I also am really really loving getting into the politics and the nitty gritty of it all ☺️ my only criticism is that the sound mixing could be a little bit better defined because it is sometimes difficult to understand the different accents of english for a non-native speaker. But on the whole I love it so far, it seems to have a very solid vision. And also Rogue One is my absolute favourite SW film 🥰
Im getting SICK of the low episode BS nonsense. Seasons, historically, are often longer , and disney has all the means to make more episodes, they are cutting it short to stick us
@@CT_Taylor Yeah, even for a limited series 8-10 eps is more usual. Six eps worked for the established characters' series I think, but giving them a couple more wouldnt have been detrimental. It was definitely a mistake to make six the mandatory duration for basically all the shows up to now. Disney can absolutely afford it; it is absolutely a money thing. If *I* where the company exec in charge I would simply gather the Best creatives and ask them what they need and then just give it to them 😁
The Corporate Sector was mentioned in the original Han Solo novels by Brian Daley from the 70s. I read them when I was a kid. Some of the only Star Wars adventures at the time.
Yeah they also got expanded on in some of the RPG guides and sourcebooks.
The seppies on the Republic type ship have really got me stumped.. especially since what’s her face said that was a Republic Officer
Maybe they were undercover? There's probably more flashbacks in upcoming episodes.
Yea I wonder how they are going to explain that…
Maybe they were sent to die there with the gas? But they didnt know that. And the logo on the uniform was to make believe it was the seps fault
I wonder if this is early empire when both separatists and the republic become one organisation?
I love the slow burn of this series, it sets up the Galaxy before people started the rebellion.
Best Star Wars content ever made. That grey haired security commander is perhaps the most magnificent character in the setting.
That scene with the 'bell ringer' stuck out to me in particular as well. I love the fact that it felt like an ancient ritual handed down from generation to generation.
15:25 the species in this scene is the one from the rise of skywalker, the ones from the planet takodana, where the fair was going on
You're right but Takodana is the planet where Maz Kanata's Castle is placed in The Force Awakens. The fair in Rise of Skywalker is in Pasaana
Yeah you are right ✅️..thanks an may the force be with you
I found the design and especially the red and yellow colors of the transport/shuttle to be very suggestive of vintage streetcars.
I'm glad you pointed out the nice cuts in episode 3 of the past and present and how well the melded
In Legends, the planet Fest was a planet that Kyle Katarn visited in the original Dark Forces (1995) It was an Imperial weapons research facility that was working on the Dark Troopers.
This show is fantastic. We need more of it. Tony Gilroy knows wth he is doing.
At 15:22, the aliens are not Quarrens, they are Aki-Aki like the aliens from Pasaana in TROS.
It was solid. Bit of a slow burn but once it got going the action, suspense, and drama hit ALL the right notes. The social commentary is pretty minimal for those who worry about that stuff
Star Wars has been social commentary since the beginning. Newsflash, The USA is the evil Empire. That's not particularly for either Tim nor Asha but the brain-dead morons who actually think Star Wars shouldn't be political. It's literally all about working class rebels fighting against a fascist empire. Literally is all about politics (and space samurai.)
Star Wars has always had social commentary. Still find it odd some seem to think this is something new.
On the contrary, I think the social-political commentary is high in this, because that’s what it centers on. That is what sets it apart from most of the recent Star Wars stuff. It’s actually saying something about our current state of affairs rather than just parading it across the screen in empty gestures.
The slow burn is absolutely necessary. It’s setting up HOW it got to the point of rebellion. Can’t just come in guns blazing
Doug saying "pew pew" is my new favorite thing
5BBY is the same exact year that Star Wars rebels animated series first episode starts and a bunch of events that happened with the ghost crew.... Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker and Ezra are literally 14 years old during this... I thought I recognized the date but wasn't 100% sure well I am now,, pretty easy to google search epic easter egg.. I'm sure at some point it's going to show events of Star Wars rebels from a different point of view has to .. Especially what happened in season 3 episode 18 ..cant wait
Really liked your take on little Cass's reflection... made much more sense than the idea he's never seen his reflection AT ALL. Another top video, thanks ScreenCrush :)
Those first 3 episodes were amazing, lets keep it going rest of the season. That is how you do storytelling.
I love how the show has an older tone but knows when to stop. Shows nowadays always have to show nudity or scenes completely unnecessary. This show is perfectly balanced so far.
Surprised you didnt mention the Lancer Class Pursuit craft and VCX-100 in the area where Cassian parked his ship.
It looked like maybe a YT-2400 as well in the 'yard
FYI: The Toy Bantha was in the game Star Wars Galaxies. It was a loot item in the game you could use to decorate your house in the game.
Cool easter egg
I think this might be the story I've been waiting for since I first saw E4 in 1977. Really love the slow build, characters are interesting, world-building is great. I'm really enthused for the rest.
That axle pull Easter egg is the best you’ve ever found. Well done.
Good show so far. I understand why they released the first 3 at once because it's a slow burn but after episode 3 I'm invested.
The scenes of scrapping large ships, especially the huge side of a ship crashing down, immediately made me think of the opening of ‘Jedi: Fallen Order’ where Cal Kestis is working in a massive yard where they scrap parts of imperial (and other) ships. If I’m not mistaken, that was also in 5 BBY. Fingers crossed for Cal to be introduced into live action at some point in the Andor series and then spun off into his own series 😊
Fallen Order takes place in 14 BBY (5 years after order 66), Cal mentions its being 5 years, I see where you were mistaken
Ryan, I am always so glad you are here. After watching any show or movie, I always come to screen Crush to get the Easter eggs and/or explanations. Be it Star Wars Andor, Marvel Universe, or DC extended universe. Also now with House of Dragons, and Rings of Power series those backstories I can trust that you know what the hell they are talking about and I can always trust that you are going to be here to explain what the hell I just watched!!!
" The English always get pissy when you skip a queue", now that's a meta easter egg if ever I saw one. Just ask Phil or Holly 🤣
I didnt think of it looking like that when he walked into the brothel/bar I thought the way he strode in and the style of music playing reminded me more of the new TRON movie when the son walks into that sky high bar.
Andor gave me some vibes of both "Blade Runner" and "Blade Runner 2049"
The first easter egg I saw was the lit up bar in the brothel which really looked like where Cassian and Jyn had to steal the plans for the Death Star from on Scarif.
That scene with the small alien creature dude and the ticket guy where andor was trying to buy a ticket off the world for 700 credits remind me of the two guys from Star Trek 😂🥲
This show looks SO expensive. I hope that indicates that they're going to do big things with the story. Not that I'd mind a low-key look at the SW underworld with a blockbuster budget; I just don't expect Disney would write that check.
I also thought the look inside the security corp was extremely authentic. The details, from the way they treat their uniforms to the tension between the boss who understands how everything actually works, the naïve diggit, and the workers just trying to do their job was so real it gave me flashbacks to my time in the service.
Also in episode 2 if you go to the 4:51 minute we see a Y-wing, the ghost, satos hummer (the ship that used by iron squadron and Mart Martin commander sato nephew from star wars rebels) and if I am not wrong we also seethe razor crest in the same ship yard
I believe we see Ochi’s ship as well in this scene
Yep I saw those too
I thought it was the Ghost
Lol 13:55 The corporate buildings are shaped like octagons Ryan, not hexagons. You must ser them everywhere 🤣
I thought the same thing about it taking a bit to get the ball rolling. It all has to start somewhere ❤️
Anyone else appreciate the recurring hatred/fear of droids by the characters who would have been old enough to live through the Clone Wars?
There is one major Easter Egg you missed. Andor's gun appears to be the same one Kyle Katarn used, a K-16 Bryar Pistol.
Andor feels like the DS9 of Star Wars.
That's a good comparison. Maybe even stronger in that direction than DS9 was for Trek. We shall see. But I either give the show a 9 or 10 out of 10 so far. Expert level world building and character development.
My thoughts exactly!!!! DS9 was an epic series and Andor is shaping up to be one too.
YES
Well that to was a slow burn that eventually got exciting.
That hits the nail on the head, yeh, it definitely has that vibe
Production guy: "Hey boss, I got the title screen intro, i just did a planet with some words under it, what do ya think?"
Producer: "Sounds good just chuck it in there, not really that important"
ScreenCrush: **5mins of how the title screen is a symbol of the entire rebel alliances and that hope in the galaxy is only just beginning to emerge.***
This first arc of this show has been awesome. I’m really liking this show.
The Place/Background or Bluecreen you have remind me of the Video-Store my Mother owned when I was younger !
In the early days we had little plastic clips with numbers hanging in front of the VHS/DVD in the shelves, so much good memories.
I’m streaming heavily but somehow it gets me sad, it was nice to talk with customers about the movies they have rent and we shared a small conversation about movies/series, good old days !
Best job I ever had was working at a local video store in college. I’ll never forget when we got our first DVDs to rent (shortly after we carried a few laser discs).
@@aekdbej24 Must’ve been awesome,
Wonderful times, nothing more I can say !
I'm in love with the way episode 3 ends. It left me feeling, "did I just watch everyone lose?" Just like the end of Rogue One - the rebellion advances but every player loses. Such is war.
The scene with the scrapping crew on the air crane/platform definitely felt like a reference to the start of Jedi Fallen Order where you've got a scrapper job and drive one of the platforms in a cutscene.
The Doctor in Doctor Who could also whistle for the TARDIS at times and the main control room on the Separatist ship looked similar in design to the Console room of the TARDIS as well with that central unit. I think some Doctor Who fans worked on this show and injected a couple nods.
Well it is filmed in London.
the rhythm of four used when the civilians began banging on metal certainly piqued my inner Whovian.
How much of a WTF if Cassian’s sister becomes an Imperial officer and was present in orbit above The Battle of Scarif when the Death Star fires, and neither knew the other was there?
She was a stripper dude lol
I think its likely shes an imperial or a rebel now so definitely a good guess my guy
young Andor smashes his reflection because he is angry at himself. he saw the crewman stand up & yet did not warn his chieftain, perhaps because he was afraid. a theme of this show seems to be opportunities & missed opportunities (Mosk's speech enforces this).
its also cool to note that the shots of that shipyard you see a lancer class pursuit craft (which was used by the sith ketsu onyo, this is most likely not the shadowcaster) and you see a VCX-100 (which is most likely not the Ghost from the Rebels)/ The attention to some lore detail is pretty sweet for the show!
I swear you guys have time travel or something. There's no way you could make such great content in such little time. Come on! What's the secret?
They get given the episodes a few days early by Disney.
Doug's ability to keep Ryan's focus on the task at hand is quite masterful. Like a little fuzzy white Yoda
It looked like the same alien species as Maz Katana shows up too, when Andor is haggling for a ride with the dude in the window. Also a Y-wing and the Ghost was in the ship yard.
I also got major Wall-E feels with B2emo in the broken space ship.
At first, I didn't understand, that the scenes with the kids were flashbacks...I understood it way later in episode 3, when they have shown Petunia Dursley meeting the boy, who was revealed to be Cassion
I think that line Andor says about "walk their floors" has slight realworld undertones to the bigotry and treatment of hispanics in society
They make a reference to what you said in the first episode. When the government guys find out two of their own were killed the main leader said their two men was harassing someone with “dark features” which is a play on words to relate to our real world when the police harass darker folks
The guards in episode 1 also asked Andor if he swam there in a demeaning manner. This show is really killing it right off the bat.
Can't be ironic that the "Salesman" is played by Ron Cook (Borch on the Witcher)... so when this pops up again... AND IT WILL... that "Salesman"'s friendliness REEKS of Imperial spy trying to wring some info out of this very mysterious stranger.
Parker!
Brilliant show so far. Callbacks make the galaxy smaller. Original vision stuff like this makes it grow.
Telling that Gilroy isn't a fan or invested in anything beyond telling a great story.
Its basically Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in Star Wars and I love it.
Loved it, looking forward to next weeks already, couldn't ask for more.
This is what star wars is about, Andor makes me feel like im apart of the universe, The cinematography of these episode are immaculate! i fucking love it!!!!
Loving the breakdowns of my fave new series by Ryan
This feels like 80s movies about being behind the Iron Curtain. It feels like we've walked through Checkpoint Charlie.
I didn't know before that I needed to hear Doug make "pew pew pew" sounds, but I do now. 🐶🔫
I love how the supervisors assessment of what actually happened at the incident in episode 1 was completely correct and that syril was completely incredulous. It such a fantastic observation about the apathy of wisdom versus the misguided zealot-ism of youth.
This series is something Star Wars has needed for a while now, intelligent writing and themes. It’s the first Star Wars series that is now on a par with the likes of Star Trek The Next Generation or the reimagined Battle Star Galactica. This will be a series that will make the viewer think and not just be the Jedi or Mandalorian of the week fighting it out.
I enjoyed these 3 episodes and a strong start to this series I'm excited to see how this all unfolds
This show is awesome. I really love the pace.
What a brilliant review of an excellent SW show. I echo all these point and have been waiting for a serious, adult-themed SW show for those of us wowed by its introduction in the 70s but want something more layered and nuanced now.
Glad I wasn't the only one to get Thunderdome vibes from the tribe of kids. Most folks hate the Waiting Ones, but I think they're a great piece of world building.
