Mahindra definitely has a superior engine workshop. Take for eg. VWs 1.6 polo diesel. When it's volume had to be reduced to 1.5 liters inorder to take advantage of the lower tax structure, the engine totally lost its tractability. Not the case when Mahindra reduced the volume of Ssangyong's brilliant 1.6 liter diesel to 1.5 liters. This engine with its 30kgm torque is a rocket. It's probably the only all aluminium diesel engine this side of Merc's OM654. Wish Force motors had atleast a fraction of the engineering prowess Which Mahindra has. They let go the OM611 engine which they had inherited from Merc and now making do with a 2 valve dinosaur of an engine surviving purely because of the urea injector and 80km/h speed limit. Mahindra has undoubtedly played it brilliantly up until now. It does seem like the EV era has begun. There are however serious battery technology limitations. A transitional period of hybrid motoring is thus inevitable. I'm not sure if a 1.2 liter petrol hybrid on a sub 4 meter vehicle will get away with 29% tax or if it will have to suffer the same 43% tax as hybrids. If it is 29% taxed then Mahindra should go to work on designing 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder petrol hybrids. Since both the other 2 manufacturers offering full hybrid for the C segment vehicles are 1.5 liters.
@Bitturbomedia A major difference between Tata and Mahindra sales strategy is that mahindra always consider tata as a direct competition and major product portfolio is just an alternative to tata product like bolero to sumo, scorpio to safari, but the prices of mahindra cars are significantly less as compared to tata, which makes them preferred choice of the customer looking for performance desi cars..
Nah bro bolero was just a facelift to the older armada, they did not make it specially to compete with sumo, however it did compete with sumo because of same segment.

Mahindra is more reliable in long run
Mahindra gives comparatively better customer care too
Nah bro bolero was just a facelift to the older armada, they did not make it specially to compete with sumo, however it did compete with sumo because of same segment.
Your videos are always well researched.
Bolero..can be revived...that G Wagon look is awesome.
Bhai abhi Mahindra racing bhi karti hai Formula E me 😁
Ho sake ek video us topic pe bhi
Ab video aegi pininferina per lekin kuch time baad.
@@Biturbomedia Battista ko jarur include kar na
Very good video👏 but I think you miss one important point SAFETY. Now days safety is top most priority for most of the buyers and Mahindra has released that. So now Mahindra offers almost 5 ⭐️ safety rating of mostly their cars.
India needs to reach 10 million car sales per year, then India will become true R&D and auto supply chain hub.
I wish they can solve the after sales service problem as well and it will grow even more
2:19 the real power of Mahindra 💪💪💪
Iske aange koi payload capacity Naa chalegii
Very nice video, I had always wondered how Mahindra get those engines this video clarified.
Your researched based videos are content apart and holds tons of more value than other automotive comparison/ownership videos
Tata should work on 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engines as well.
Proud to be 3rd Gen Mahindra customer.
Grandfather had Mahindra Commander
Dad had Mahindra Bolero
I personally use the Tuv 300 100hp 2016 model and in 2021 as a goodwill gesture Mahindra installed an MLD kit free of cost.
This Diwali we will have our 4th Mahindra the Big Daddy Scorpio N ❤️❤️.
Content ekdum sahi hai, narrate karne ki tarika ekdum gajab ka hai! End result chamakdaar video!
Mahindra=Big Daddy of SUV's
You are a good engineer and good tutor having strong explanation power.
A very rare combination 👍👍
Currently Tatas are one step ahead of Mahindra but after sales of Scorpio N open up , Mahindra will probably displace TATA.There seems to be a healthy competition between the two . The ultimate beneficiaries will be the Indian customers .
Ya you are right but dont forget Tata is the no 1 suv maker of india and they are focusing on EV which is the future so tata is looking for future which is very beneficial for them .
@@v.k9074 Yeah, no. 1 "SUV" maker with no real SUV s and only crossovers in their line-up. I wonder how carmakers gather so much balls of steel to call a raised hatchback with cladding an SUV. Leave aside the wannabe SUV Punch, Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and just compare the sales figure of Harrier, Nexon and Safari with Bolero, Scorpio, Thar and Xuv series. Mahindra is way ahead of Tata when it comes to technological advancements while keeping their roots as a real SUV maker. I was a huge huge fan of Tata but unfortunately, Tata is only focusing on volumes and their cars are only selling in the name of safety. Many owners in public forums and social media sites are complaining about quality control of Tata cars but unfortunately they are being ignored by these BS Tata fans. Ultimately Mahindra is the no.1 SUV maker.
@@v.k9074 Tata was suv maker. Now, there is no SUV in their lineup. While Mahindra has both cross over and true suv.
Still happy to see products like harrier are spawning from tata.
@@prathamsalvi4027 really, car companies have gone nuts, even Suzuki S-Presso is marketed as SUV. A "mini SUV" they say, and the public also gets easily fooled with these lies. Every second person with their whole heart believes that Creta and Seltos are SUVs... Soon Hyundai is again going to launch a 1.2L NA Petrol "micro SUV" which produces an output of 84HP and 113Nm Torque. I guess going by that analogy Polo and Swift are also supercars, precisely "baby supercars". (Trust me man, they are supercars. Just a lot slower, hence we named them "baby supercars". Now pls buy them fast). And Bajaj Pulsar is a superbike.
Proud owner of mahindra and will upgrade to mahindra only

no tuv 300 was more macho than all those cars deserved to be on the good list critically underrated
My XUV 700 is getting an excellent service from Mahindra Nashik. Mahindra has done an exceptionally well job with xuv700, no other car even comes close.
Actually logo change for Mahindra is a good thing!
Bcoz old logo, paint choices gave Mahindra a 'politician's car' image
New logo, colors are trendy, stylish
but also has the feel of maruti old logo😅😂😂
Old logo was very much similar to the Oldsmobile logo.
So many xuv 7oo customers are complaining about various problems in their cars. Please make a video on that matter.
Appreciate ur hard work for ..video meant for public with indepth knowledge ...and facts✨🙏✨🔥🔥👌
My XUV 300 petrol giving 15-16 kmpl in city and 17kmpl. YES 17 kmpl, sometimes even crossing that in highways. 😁
And the power, torque combination of it is praiseworthy. It just goes when you floor the pedal. LOL
Steering feedback is where they need to focus next i guess. European cars are ahead of it but I'm confident that Mahindra will be at par in that area too.
The M-Hawk was made by AVL Austria ! Coincidentally The M-Hawk and Dicor (Tata) both are exactly the same engines with different set of tune !
Both are 2179cc .
If you put a twin turbo in them both can do 170-200bhp 🚀
They were really great at their respected times brother
Bro, been bingeing on your videos!
Hands down one of the absolute best Indian content creators.
Thorough research and very well put together peices.
Keep going! All the best
Changes are visible, but inherent things are not changed..!
Every model launch with big start but after 3-4 years these products vanishes without reason is the problem of Mahindra..
Sheet metal exteriors of Mahindra are very unreliable attracts rust very fast.. also models are not consistent.. nobody knows how much time new product will survive..
💪💪Mhindra 🇮🇳 TATA 💪💪
I have heard of Mahindra but what is Mhindra
Mahindra is going to be the Toyota of future.

Amazing Video man . Keep making more videos like this 💪🔥
fun fact: before the old scorpio was launched, ford had plans to rebadge it and higher scorpio variants would've had a ford engine too
Happy to subscribe….
This is one of the very few channels i selects…
Hope to get some responses on queries….
You completely missed Marshal which was the real successor of Armada. And was successful too.
Your videos are well researched ! keep up the good work
Mahindra's ending it's JV with ford was big shock to ford which ultimately became one of key reason of ford getting lost from india
ford shoulda had a backup plan imo, they bet way too much on the success of the jv

Altauras G4 was such a good car. I wish Mahindra make a facelift of it and put the pricing down.
If it's prices are lowered after a facelift, they will definitely suffer losses
Bhai usaki pricing bhot tgdi hai features aur car ke engine ke hisab se but kya kre
I hope indians start buying indian companies like tata and mahindra which are making world class companies
Why do I feel like the new ScorpioN looks very similar to Alturas G4 🤔
Exactly
Bhai subbed and i agree on this. Ek video y bhi bnao ki gadi konsi own krna sasta prta h. Diesel vs petrol. Matlab y to sab bta dete ki itne kms chle ek sal m to y lo wrna doosri lo. But inflation metric added nhi hoti usme

Mahindra and TATA ko ek saath kaam krna chahiye
Jaise hatchback and C sedans mein TATA achhha kar raha even Tata ki CNG bhi kaafi achhi hai
Segment ke hisaab se TATA ke CNG thodha Kam mileage de rahe hai but wo thik hai
Mahindra ko SUVs ka bahot achha experience hai and TATA ko bhi hai dono
Mahindra ka engine and TATA ka platform + fit and finish
Ye sab agar in future hua tab ye dono companies kaafi achha kar sakti hai
but i have 1 complaint from mahindra
they had said few months ago that indian automobile industry should skip hybrid engines & shift directly to ev's
this is very illogical statement
big suv's need hybrid & plug in hybrid engines ev's r just a hype
hybrid isgood only for luxury segment or 30 lakh plus segment ... below that price point its not financially feasible to buy hybrids specially in india where taxes are so high for hybrids , eg city hybrid costs 5 lakh more than normal city for just 30% more mileage
@@tanmaysinha9632 loll taxes can't be a reason to skip hybrid & plug in hybrid tech
