Hey Tejas this channel mentions gdi as some alien tech and the people without any automotive knowledge are just elated with joy.Even mentioned the same thing. There's nothing extraordinary about mahindra engines as this channel is putting it out.Its just a normal turbo petrol. Not to forget that their mstallion petrol engines are reverse engineered 2.2 mhawk diesel engine which in turn Is an avl designed and developed engine.
You should have come to GDI after explaning turbo petrol (aka meagle, tata turbo petrol) and explaining their pros and cons. the transition to MPFI to GDI dont specify the need of change
i have been suggesting this thing of english subtitles for other channels also for a long time. Doesnt have to be perfect, just pass on the general idea and concepts.
I read about Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) on Internet. It has major cons. Carbon deposit in back side of valves, which requires engine flushing to remove them. Many people from foreign countries where this engine has been in use for long, has complained about this issue.. I will still prefer Port fuel injection (PFI) engine over GDI. People here still prefer cars that requires low maintenance. However Mahindra is different. They sell only SUVs, mostly enthusiastics buy them. Higher cost can justify GDI (Torqui Muscled Engine)
Yes it's fact that Now Mahindra is A Master In Engine But Tata Should Work on Their E Engine Refinement & Reliable Engine like Mahindra Love Towards TATA & Mahindra Is Infinite ❤🔥❤

Besides being expensive, GDI engines have problems that reduce their durability. These engines develop carbon deposits on the intake valves. Maybe Tata has been hesitant in adopting direct injection technology in their petrol engines because they do not want their engines to get the bad reputation of being not very durable or those that require costly maintenance. Mahindra doesn't care if they get this reputation. It is a matter of time, a few years, before people who value durability of engines realise that all that performance for Mahindra GDI engines also comes with poor durability and expensive maintenance and repairs.
@@sairoadways4365So far for passenger car engines, both Tata and Mahindra have similar reputations (good or bad) in terms of of reliability, durability, and performance, though Mahindra engines are by-and-large better performing. But now, with the introduction of GDI engines, Mahindra will not be at par with Tata petrol engines in terms of durability. The real-life data will be available in about a year when customer reviews and complaint will start appearing everywhere.
@@subratabn Mahindra engines are far more reliable and refined than tata engines that is the reason why tata was a failure and now needs to use fiat engines whereas Mahindra uses their own engines in fact other makers like ford agreed to use Mahindra engines in their car as well. Dekho brother I'm happy see that Indian brand r growing but Mahendra and tata has to work on after sales service and engine also. Because they r new in this featureistic and this high power engine
GDI has it's own share of drawback. Getting more our of an engine using turbocharger means that engine is made to work more than it's normal capacity, thus exposing it to more wear and tear, resulting in decreasing the life of an engine.... Mahindra has been going through some problems with it's engines and turbochargers....😊
What about dualjet that's used by MS and some other brands? Should be a decent balance between both types right? As in better performance by GDI and better maintenance and even fuel-air mixture by MPI

Tata Motors introduced Direct Injection engine way back at 2005. But in Diesel, not in petrol. That was the Dicor (Direct Injection Common Rail).
TATA's DiCOR was a common rail diesel engine. Mahindra had mHAWK common rail diesel engine at that time.
Diesel engines were always directly injected.
Hyundai had CRDI from the beginning too
Bro direct injection in diesels are very common.
🤦diesel engines are always been direct injected. U cant put mpfi and carburettor to make them work.
@@jarjarbinks3193 Yes you are ri8. I’m just saying that Tata motors too have Direct Injection system expertise, but not in petrol engines.
1:15 you are comparing a turbo charged engine with a natural aspirated engine...does it make any sense
you forgot to mention mahindras under square layout for their petrol engines, where the stroke is longer than the bore just like a diesel engine. thats one of the main reasons why mahindras petrol engine have so much torque
👏👏
Yes....at the cost of fuel efficiency....
@@anshumanbhagat2284 😀😀 avl.....yes u r right 😊😊
@@avl123 lol this channel even deleted my previous comment
Your research is really Incredible.
Best knowledgeable channel regarding cars it’s information based on principle and technical facts. Asan bhasha me kam ki bat no bakwas.
You should have come to GDI after explaning turbo petrol (aka meagle, tata turbo petrol) and explaining their pros and cons. the transition to MPFI to GDI dont specify the need of change
I remember tata 407, super reliable, super strong, super hit vehicle.
6:07 pe mere ko laga ya fast and furious me jo car hai wo bhi GDI engine hai 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 apne ekdum se waqt Badal Diya jazbaat Badal diye 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️🔥🤍
Can you tell how you got the animations? You create it on a software or is there a website for it?
these are made by brands itself, you can find them on youtube.
Like the way u interlinked f&f movie and ur sponsors ad. According to ur content😂.
Sir please add subtitles also .your videos are damn interesting but as i am south part of India so difficulty in understanding in some hindi words
Subtitles will be available by day after tomorrow.
i have been suggesting this thing of english subtitles for other channels also for a long time. Doesnt have to be perfect, just pass on the general idea and concepts.
Enna ooru bro
Mahindra Zindabad.........I am a proud Mahindra driver.❤️✊🤘
Great Explanation . Love your videos .
Make more videos on engine and engine type there is very less information available for superior engines in Indian market 👍
Today i will subscribe you for providing great info
Your contents are amazing bhai! Keep growing!
0:35 ye waale scene ne arun bhai ke waqt aur jasbaat badal diye honge 😆

Mahindra💕💕💕💕👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻💙❤️💙❤️💙❣️
It’s only can happen under the strict and close monitoring and instructions from Anand Sir 💙💙
Not only with direct injection, the turbo charger and intercooler helps alot in producing that many hosres.
what engine does Honda use in India. If it is IVTECH , how different is it from GDI? Sorry for this basic question
Yes it's fact that Now Mahindra is A Master In Engine But Tata Should Work on Their E Engine Refinement & Reliable Engine like Mahindra Love Towards TATA & Mahindra Is Infinite ❤🔥❤
Ssangyong always made nice engines, but daewoo made small engines. so the same story goes to mahindra and tataa.
Sir mera LLB ke final semester me 2 paper miss ho gaya tha mai bimaar tha bahut to ab kya mujhe back select karna chahiye yaa exempted?
Sir meri degree pe to koi year change nahi dikhayega naa?
Love from jammu and kashmir ♥
Besides being expensive, GDI engines have problems that reduce their durability. These engines develop carbon deposits on the intake valves. Maybe Tata has been hesitant in adopting direct injection technology in their petrol engines because they do not want their engines to get the bad reputation of being not very durable or those that require costly maintenance. Mahindra doesn't care if they get this reputation. It is a matter of time, a few years, before people who value durability of engines realise that all that performance for Mahindra GDI engines also comes with poor durability and expensive maintenance and repairs.
but tata already has a bad reputation for their engines In contrast Mahindra does not.
GDI engine is different and their reliability time will tell.
Bro aap jaldi videos bheja kro . maja aata hai aapka video dekhne mai.
Suggestion make - why mahindra dont make more powerful engines for their car ? or How fortuner became the first choice of every person??. Pls respond karna bro😍😍😉😉
GdI engines are notorious for carbon formation.
Mpi engines - Fuel is sprayed over the intake values and since fuel is a very good solvent, carbon build up is much lessor in MPI than compared to GDI ENGINES
Great channel to learn about automobile engineering....thanks boss.
You are doing a great job. Love your videos 😍
Thanks to Velu sir and his team in Mahindra for a great R&D work in the engines and it's timely upgrades & modifications... I own a XUV 300 Tgdi and love that engine, every time the turbo kicks in there is a smile on my face... My next car would definitely be a Mahindra Diesel be it BS7,or BS8.
Great Content mate, instantly subscribed to your channel 👏👏👍

Dekho brother I'm happy see that Indian brand r growing but Mahendra and tata has to work on after sales service and engine also. Because they r new in this featureistic and this high power engine

Hey, Maruti's BoosterJet Engine falls in which category? It has a direct injection and turbo charger. Is it GDI or some other kind ?
Also talk about carbon deposit issues in gdi engines
Bhai ye volvo XC90 45 ka milage kese de rahi hai btao
Turbo GDI engine hai kya??
Is Force toofan is copy of LandRover defender classic?
Bhai aapka content bhut aacha ha bhut aache se u explain and keep doing it
GDI has it's own share of drawback. Getting more our of an engine using turbocharger means that engine is made to work more than it's normal capacity, thus exposing it to more wear and tear, resulting in decreasing the life of an engine.... Mahindra has been going through some problems with it's engines and turbochargers....😊
great video bro 🔥🔥
What about dualjet that's used by MS and some other brands? Should be a decent balance between both types right? As in better performance by GDI and better maintenance and even fuel-air mixture by MPI
Maza aa jata h video dekhne me .... value for time
भाई आपका नॉलेज तो कमाल का है !
Hyundai-Kia bought Turbo GDi with launch of Seltos in 2019, which is nowadays available in lots of models: Sonet, i20, Venue, Verna, Seltos, Creta and Carens, that too in petrol.
As someone who has Sonet Turbo GDi's base variant which is most VFM, I think that Hyundai-Kia has launched ahead of Mahindra in terms of GDi engines
Their gdi Engine are not well suited for Indian condition there are many fuel pump issue in them mahindra gdi engine are reliable
