Wow looking back I did a lot of questionable things to this car. This was my first car and loved modding it. Even though most of the mods were not all that impressive it was still fun to mess around with. Thank you all for the interest in my "build" (if you can call it that) because it motivated me to keep up with automotive videography and photography. I now work full time and have a lot less time to make videos with my new car (2017 Focus ST). I will continue to make occasional videos on that car and other things as well. Thank you all.

what are your ideas? i have the same car & model, i’ve blacked out all chrome & rims. i did tint my break lights but it didn’t go so well so i got rid of that. other then that i’ve straight pipped it, got a k&n air filter. slightly faster and a lot louder. is yours the eco boost too?

Hey man i really liked your build and i drive a 2011 fusion sport and i was wondering what exhaust system you use and wether or not it would fit my 3.5 v6
So I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find the Ford emblems in black to fit the fusion. Mostly truck or explorer or newer fusion. Any help with that would be awesome

I just taped it off in the pattern I wanted then I sprayed it with Nightshade taillight tint

+96RCman 6-7 but I wouldn't do more. Like 9-10 cause I didn't make it dark enough in my opinion

Hey man I have a 2012 fusion sel with the 3.0 v6, I was wondering how you blacked out the front bottom bumper opening? like where the fogs are? howd you blackout the tails and the maker lights did you just use tint? and where did u get that thule roof rack and does all the trim on the inside just pop off to paint them?
Platidipped all the chrome but I will be slowly changing all of that to vinyl wrap. and the tail lights I taped off in a patter than I wanted then sprayed them with 3-4 coats of nightshade but I will also be wrapping those soon. and yes the trim for the most part pops off. Their should be directions on how to take apart the whole dash online. I will try to find the link and post it here

Great video. I myself own a 2009 Fusion SEL v6. it will turn 11yrs old still runs great. Seeing what you did makes me want to add to my baby. One question, what do I need to do to make my car sound like yours, exhaust wise?
straight pipe it, i went through my local muffler man for $170 and it sounds great & the welds were perfect. make sure it’s stainless steel

Locks1421 oh gosh man I can't remember. I got it years ago. All I know is I got it from autoanything.com and I cut off the extra bar after I put it on.

Hey man what did you do to your rear valence to fit the quad exhaust tips in? I drive a 2012 fusion sport 3.5 and have similar goals as you do. 273 crank horsepower tho :)
Lance Lindsey the i4 Fusion has a single exit duel tip cut out rather than the v6’s duel exit duel tip exhaust so I just used the stock i4 rear valence and traced the cut out of the right side and mirrored it on the left side and cut it with a razor blade. It worked out perfectly honestly. And that’s dope dude! Certainly faster than my slow i4 lol.
Goals Media useful to know. Really impressed by the fusion it's a shame you no longer have it but I'll be using your videos as a reference for a lot of my mods. I'm mostly bone stock except a k&n filter, exhaust work, wheels, slotted and drilled performance brake rotors and painted calipers. Step by step I'll have it a truly unique car. Next up lowering springs.

What did you use to black out the chrome around the lower grill that goes around the whole thing???? The oval looking piece... Thanks! Also, what kind of "persuasion" did you have to do to get that STI Lip to fit good?
Grille is plastidipped (soon to be wrapped in vinyl) and STI lip needs two people and a bit of stretching at the ends. If you drill in one end and then drill in the other end then the middle and fill all the other gaps with screws then your golden (really easy)

Lowering springs or the front lip (06-07 wrx sti lip) is a good start.

Here is how I made my duel exit quad exhaust originally. I just measured the stock side and cut out an identical one on the opposite side.

I have a gray one with factory spoiler and thinking of backing out the chrome but don't know how to do it
You can wrap it with auto vinyl or you can plastidip it like I did for a more temporary solution.

Front splitter I got from ebay (06-07 WRX STI splitter) the sideskirts are factory but you can get the fusion sport sideskirts if you want cause they look great and the rear diffuser is also stock I just cut out the second hole on the right side to match the right in order to do my quad tip exhaust

Just have to stretch it from end to end to meet up with the bumper. Easier to install with three people. Two to hold and one to drill

I have a 2010 fusion as well. But to be honest I know little to none about tuning it. I want it to definitely be louder and plan on changing the exhaust. Should I first get the intake and see if I'm happy with that?
Its up to you. The intake will make it louder in the cabin but not much faster or loud outside the car.

+ItsAviiBro it's adds 15 hp if you have a v8 but not if you have a v6 or i4. Probably adds 3-4 on the i4 and 5-6 on the v6 with out tunes

what offset are your wheels. trying to figure out if +25 would be to extreme for my fusion
Offset depends on the width of the wheel. For example my 17" race wheels are 17x9 with a 42mm offset but my 18" daily wheels are 18x8.75 and have a 32mm offset. 25mm would probably rub if you don't have tires that are stretched (which I wouldn't recommend). What wheels are you thinking of getting?

My engine doesn't shake more than any other engine. If yours is shaking your motor mounts or transmition mounts are probably bad.

Technically no cutting but some people that put it on cut the middle elevated part (I didn't). It's just personal preference.
