@@jrboostin yes it was a sema car, the owner has replied in your comment section. I been following you build for a minute too. Im building my collection with the Mazda Speed 6 corksport parts.
How hard is it to pull the engine in this car?
Not too difficult, pull the trans too though with it always
What 5 speed Mazdaspeed3 trans pairs up with the 2.3l in an 06 fusion? Like what would’ve been the stock 5 speed?
Yes any speed trans
What was the total amount this cost? Would it work on a 2014?
It should, probably 4k
How much hp would I gain if I did this?
Do you have a new ig? Wanted to ask some question if possible
Jr_boostin
2.5L V6? Are you sure? Mine is an inline 4 on my 2014 Ford Fusion SE!
? Huh
@@jrboostin Are you confused? At the beginning of the video it was mentioned that it was a 2.5L V6!
@@joeanderson444 ? 2.5l is a 4 cyl.
@@jrboostin I understand that. I was just wondering why he called it a V6 in the beginning of the video! It must have been a mistake!
@@joeanderson444 this is my video. I mentioned that this wouldn’t work for a 3.0 v6
What would you use to tune with the fusion?
SCT tuner
What about the ECU? How you solved it?
Unleashed tuning
About unleashed tuning, was this done with dyno pull? Did they send you a base tune and calibrate from live data you sent back?
I have a 2010 ford fusion 6 speed manual can you build the stans and can u run 2 turbos?
If it’s a v6 you could but why
Mines the 2.5 but I wanna go with twinturbo set up
@@Pogo_StickFN have fun with that. You’ll have to go built motor
I might have missed it but can the stock intake manifolds handle boost or is it a good idea to get a ms3/6 one?
This intake can handle decent boost. Besides the speed6/3 one is a different design all together with a bottom mount throttle body. I wouldn’t worry until you’re in the 25-30 range for boost.
Where are u running your vacuum lines
All stock to the intake manifold. Wastegate lines come from the turbo, teed by the boost controller then go to the wastegate then the other side is open I think
Update?
Will i need to sleeve the cylinders?
If you want to build the engine you can, but the sleeves should handle sub 800hp. The rods and pistons go first.
You the best 🎉
What year is your Ford fusion?
2011. It will work on any 2.5 no matter the year
So what do I need to do different for a 2006 2.3l build
Swap for a 2.5 so you don’t have a weak 2.3 in the way
Alrighty, did the 2.5 come in anything else
@@jacobheranney2595 escape and fusion I think that’s it
Is the turbo not stock on this engine?
No
Where can I take my fusion to have someone do this for me
A performance shop, not sure who near you.
Is it as fast as the 2.7L Fusion?
Probably not since that is 350 and awd. But with some more money into the motor and trans I’m sure it could be
do you have to pull the engine to install turbo?
No
Is this a v4 ?and how long did it take you
Yes, not too long the first time
where did you buy the lip from?
EBay, ikon
Horse Power ?
270 ish on 10psi
@@jrboostin Nice!
Can the 2.0L se handle this ?
The 2.0t?
Aye does it past smog still?
Doubt it. Stock cats and a fair tune might tho.
How much did this project cost?
Probably about 4k
For what year is this ?
Any na 2.5 it will be similar
Would this set up work for my 2014 Fusion SE 2.5 ?
Yes
Hey what’s the cost
@@brodykarhu4329 shut up
Are you still in Windsor?
Yup
What about a 1.5 ?
What about it. They are already turboed
HP before and after turbo?
170 before 300 after
What’s the wastegate psi at?
The spring on the iwg is around 15-17 on a stock k04 I believe
i have a 3 liter please help me out here 😭
Sorry, your best bets is going to try to retrofit 3.0 ecoboost f150 parts I think.
