Worked a 13.5 hr day today. Wife had tacos to eat and now I am watching another man work. Good day all around.
Holy Cow, Chad! Air conditioning my garage has been THE best, move I ever made in it, and I can't wait for you to do that at your shop. Before, working hot, sweaty, getting frustrated, irritated, and exhausted ?? That AC made it where I could work WAY longer, and get way more done, and be a MUCH happier camper! It blew me away how much of a difference it made for me. You are going to love it. I'm all for making YOU happier too!

Chad, as a huge fan of yours and as an employee of Motor Trend Group LLC (Yes, I work in El Segundo been there almost 8 years, of course this is my personal account) I have to say how heartwarming it is to watch your videos for multiple reasons. Dude looks absolutely fantastic. I love the black rims with the chrome center caps with the raised white letter tires. I can't believe the transformation, amazing work. I hope y'all have an amazing time at Power Tour! =)
I love watching a regular guy work on his own stuff and show us how that work spirit touches all the viewers. BTW, there is a little plastic insert to put into the proportioning valve to keep it from closing when trying to bleed brakes, that might of been why you were having problem clearing them. Little insert cost about $5 at JEGS
and others
Usually there is a hose at each brake caliper and not hard line. unless it is a fixed caliper.
Always great to see Dude. If you get around to painting him , keep the flames . But maybe do them in blue . Good luck on power tour . Keep your eyes on your cars .

You may need to pump the pedal a few times to push out the pistons, once the pistons are pushed out your brake pedal will be higher, I usually push the brake pedal hard to push the pistons out.

I have said it before, Dude is my fave truck. I prefered the chrome wheels as it suited him, but the black rims and chrome caps look great. Well done on getting him good and ready for the Power Tour.

I'm just in the beginning of the show, you know the best thing about Power Tour (especially the long haul) is you can bring whatever little things you didn't get finished and do them on the way. There's an O'Reilly's on the way I'm sure!!

I’ve got a 53 Chevy over at my grandparents place that belonged to my late grandfather. I would love to do what you’re doing to dude only thing is my mother wants me to have it restored back to factory original and I’m not that type of person lol. I’ve got a 9” rear and a 6.0 that would work good together….
