Glad to see the D100 running again. It's amazing how a truck that hasn't run in 34 yrs could run so strong. Great job as always. By the way ole Dude should be the first project in the new shop.
Chad this was a GREAT one👍 I think the Spirit of the first owner was with you signaling his approval! I was thinking with your “luck” you would pull up behind a cop and the horns would let loose!😂🤣
You might be able to fix the horn right, because at some point the steering wheel should be removed to repair the steering column. Obviously it shouldn't twist when the shifter is moved. Hole in exhaust looks like an easy fix. Bunch of little things to plug away at yet. Doin' a great Job!
Finally, someone that knows how to wash a vehicle. Seems like every you tube channel I watch where someone is presure washing a vehicle, they start at the bottom and work their way up. I was taught from an early age, you start at the top and work your way down. Congrats!
I so appreciate you showing how it really is working on old vehicles. You just have to keep on battling until its done. Not magically finished overnight like on TV shows.
Thank you Chad for the hard work you do to provide us with fun and entertaining videos to watch! You worked your butt off on that dodge. I can't work on stuff like I used to because of health reasons but I get to do it vicariously through you watching your videos. God bless you Chad! Keep on keeping on!! 👍 🇺🇲
Hi Mr. Chad, the old truck looks good. I think you had mentioned, the owner had given it to his granddaughter, I hope she drives it with love in her heart, and never forgets him. Chad thank you for doing such a wonderful job, keeping his memories alive.
Wyatt a great truck. It amazes me that a truck that's been sitting for 34 years and become part of the woods can still have that much potential. Definitely a keeper. Great job!
Had a car that the horn would blow every time you turned the wheel. There was a bare spot on a wire for the horn inside the cap on the steering wheel. Just wanted to pass that on to you. Another great video. Please keep them coming.😊
I really like watching your videos.Great job on the new shop. My ex-wife' father's family is from Clarksville.I think they owned Langfords Machine and Metal Works(think that's the name). The old Dodge looks and runs pretty good. Good job!

Awesome to see the old truck back on the road after all these years!! I think your first project in the shop may be either your dads old car or that wagon that you picked up. Whatever you’ve decided to work on. We all look forward to seeing it.
I've been searching for a sweptline forever here in nw Florida. My dad had one he loved and although he passed away when I was 8. I always wanted to do a tribute build for my dad. That's a very nice truck!!!!
perseverance pays off. Masterful job getting it back on the road. As messy as it may be, you might have to put in another new tranny filter in case there was still stuff in the internals. My guess would be the dump truck. Good video as always.
All effort you and time you put into it was worth it. Thanks for bringing it back to life. Truly amazing how it comes back after standing all that time. Thanks for the entertainment. Love your videos. Take care of yourself and God bless you mightily. From South Africa ❤🎉❤🎉
It was good to see that ole girl pull out. Man you have more patience than anyone I know. I have no clue on what is going in the shop first, but I am excited to see...!! Cheers...!!

Maybe put a big magnet on the outside bottom of the trans pan to catch metals. Back in the old days they didn’t run pan magnet’s 🧲 isn’t there a vacuum modular on those!! If so u can adjust w/straight screw driver
For that engine going from being locked up to running great with no smoking is very impressive. Chrysler LA series v8 is definitely something to consider
Watching this revival from across the pond in Bonnie Scotland Chad, great series as always and good to see all your (hard earned) efforts rewarded👍👍 Keep on keepin on buddy🏴🏴
Fun video, ty. In the 70's the tinted windows were a slight green tint. Clear windows would blind you on a sunny day. I made the mistake trying to save 20 bucks buying a clear windshield. Very bad move, had to wear shades to drive it and very hot. Sold it shortly after.
another successful resuscitation of a nearly dead vehicle. Turned 70 the other day, been working on cars since I was 8-9 years old, was pretty good by age 12 at general repair, building engines at 14-15 years old, but I still learn things watching you. If I don't learn SOMETHING new every day, I must be in a coma, never too late to learn new things.😁 👍🇺🇸😎
adjust your low/reverse bands and kickdown bands. I had to do that on my '85 Eagle. it was sitting for 15years beside a friends house. It uses the same transmission with AMC's modifications, but it's still a 727. The low/reverse band is inside on the left of the filter on the accumulator spring rod (you'll see the nut/screw). The kickdown band adjustment is outside on the drivers side. Tighten both to 72inlbs, then back off two full turns and tighten the nut while holding the screw. then test drive and see if it shifts better. mine shifts great after doing the adjustments. i also added some seafoam transmission conditioner and it seemed to clean things out. i also did two full fluid/filter changes just two wash out all the goo. I was glad i did!
The Dodge fought you all the way but you showed it that it could live again. great content. I know you said that you knew witch one of your toys was first in the new shop and I think it has to be DUDE that one deserves your love.
Not sure why I watched this channel to start with. I'm not mechanically minded. I think it's the humour, love for family and word changes that is also a thing my children know me for. I've now seen all content and look forward to new adventures. Keek up the good work.
You’ll probably have a old truck, maybe a Chevy or Ford in your garage roughly between 60 and 70 maybe a 52 who knows good luck. Awesome video. Have a good weekend.

I was feeling your pain with that transmission issue. I've had it happen to me; no fun. It's a world of difference if its sitting in your driveway and won't move as opposed to sitting on the side of the road. Great that it worked out to be a simple fix for you though not in my case. Enjoyed the series.
I had a 84 Dodge Ram D350 with that transmission in it. I actually got it hot one day and it wasn't wanting to pull and had to do what you were doing to get home. Changing the filter and fluid did really help. Ended also up putting a separate transmission cooler on it. Those 727 transmissions are stout. They can take a beating and keep going. Miss my old dodge. That one reminds me of my dads.
I love this truck. It looks like the one my mom had she bought new in 71 .it ran from va to wva so much. I bet it could drive it self. She called it gorgeous gorge it finally got so bad the doors fell off from rust
Chrysler 727 and 904 transmissions have to be in neutral to check the transmission fluid level also the throttle valve linkage to the transmission must be set correctly or it will burn the transmission up pretty quickly.
That thing was a bear!! Love watching you work, the voices are hilarious, reminds me of myself when I'm wrenchin on my truck, only without all the curse words, LOL!! Betcha Dude gets first dibs on the garage.

Once I hit the first red light, it was like I was in neutral. As soon as this happened, it threw a DTC code relating to shift solenoids. I was able to shift it to park, shut the engine off, and when I started it back up, I was able to drive it back to the parking lot to be rescued. I never pulled the transmission apart, and I ended up replacing it with another one from the junkyard.
My dad told me a trick with those clamps. Put some pliers in a vice and drill a hole in the end of the "jaws". That way the clamp has a groove to stay in and it won't slip out.
I pull a 1990 E150 from a yard that has been sitting "4 Years" and I am still struggling to make it run after almost a month!! Damn old EFI. Agree with it needing to be driven. I have a 64 Dodge with a 727 and it sat for 10 years. I drove it hard for a little while and she's like new again.
