This Show is So#1 💪🏽👈🏽
I love the sound of that tractor!
Don't ever change. I enjoy watching your adventures and you are sharing how, sometimes, stuff simply does not want to work. Walking away, studyin' , and trying again with a better attitude and patience gets it done. Doesn't matter if 10 minutes later, an hour, a day or a couple of weeks later.
I have been looking forward to this video. I have an old square body that I have a soft spot for.
It's great to see old equipment still running and working
That's what my old lady says too...
@@emmittmatthews8636Mine too
To my surprise and delight, putting those headlight bezels on made a BIG difference. Funny what small touches will accomplish! Another great episode!
I'm glad that the white 1 ton is getting saved. I have been rebuilding a 1984 chevy c30 that's been off the road for a least 10 years.
The old saw mill brings back memories when my daddy worked at his mill in east Texas.
Screw the naysayers you got one of the purest channels on the ole tube and I appreciate being able to sit here watching with my wife without a bunch of filth coming out of people's mouths.I wish I had your energy brother.Keep up the great work we really enjoy it.
👍👍
I knew the F30 would run a sawmill. I commented on a previous video about helping my dad get an old F30 running and that’s what we used it for. Sawed a bunch of logs with that tractor.
Drive lock jaw until the wheels fall off!! And then some!!
Love your content and how you are a regular guy. We all don’t have a ton of money to do all the things most channels do. Keep being you!!!
Don't believe I would be standing in line with that saw blade.
The reason I watch your videos is because you're a fighter and won't give up, the younger generation doesn't have the time nor the capacity to understand what you do, and complain that the truck is to far gone and can't be repaired, my Dad bought a brand new 1972 Chevy 4X4 pick-up white in color and I learned to drive in a muddy alfalfa field when I was 12, that was 51 years ago thanks for the memories you brought it back to life.
I love your channel keep giving vehicles a second chance keep up the great work
The white dually is pretty rare. Probably 95% of the 6.2 diesels were automatics, GM really pushed for automatics behind them. That truck was likely a custom order. If nothing else you could manual swap Lockjaw😉
The sawmill footage was amazing. I’ve seen so many of those used for decorations, but never functional.
I knew a guy who's job it was to sharpen the teeth on blades such as that saw mill blade. The stories that mill could tell🤔
Never worry about the content. Your adventures are always interesting.
I'm glad you brought lockjaw back he might be rusty but he sure will light the tires up!!! 😎😀
I really enjoy the Old sawmill hooked after that tractor..... Something tells me that's not the first time they have worked together
Ol’ Lock Jaw Still can’t believe you drove that ol’ truck out of them woods, and now getting everything to work again? My hats off to ya my friend. Can’t wait to see what you’re planning for this ol’ truck next. Thank you so much Chad and God bless! 😊
I just love the sound of that old tractor
For some reason, Chad, I swear I recall having the belt turned once around like twisted when it's running on an old steam motor or tractor motor to a sawmill.. I'm not sure, but I was told that's to keep it from slipping..
That will make it run backwards.
@@ThisNThatGarage i knew it was done for a reason, i suppose the unit it was connected to that i recall most have gone the wrong way. Oh well, it looks like you figured it out, great work to your lovely assistant, that saw is awesome
Also, that makes me a dumass as well so at least you're not alone sometimes! haha what was I thinking?!
Don’t worry about the negative people they always have something they want to complain about I really look forward to seeing your show every week I just want to see what you have in plan for the old truck I love old trucks keep up the great work should have a bracket on back of the power steering pump that originally bolted to exhaust manifold yes it should have a double pulley on it the second pulley ran the ac compressor
I love that old sawmill that is awesome I like seeing old things back in action!!!!
Hi , 'Fix that Trim it looks ugly,' looks 100% now. Many thanks from UK.
I signed up to watch you fix the old stuff and do it with what you have on hand, anybody can throw new parts at a vehicle and get her running like a top.
I like you running into problems just like I do and then adapting and overcoming, it shows wisdom and character.
So keep on keeping on! 👍
God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
The mess in the Dodge carburetor is what modern gas turns into. I've never seen it turn that fast before. Everytime I forget to run my snowblower out of gas in the spring, I have to clean that out in the fall.
Love the back yard butchery hahahaha!!!! One day I hope to butcher a classic pick um up truck back together lol.
enjoy the Lockjaw workings sense the start 👍its came along way keep up the great work
Your videos are awesome, DO NOT CHANGE. Shade tree mechanics are a dying breed. Just take a bow and move forward😎.
I love lockjaw. Badass to take a truck in such bad shape and get it back on the road! Chevrolet BuiltToStayTough 😉😉
I was having some crazy electrical issues with a 78 Ford f350 recently. I pondered over it for about a week and just ended up running my own wires. Seems to work now. The turn signal switch looks very similar to Chevy's. I used that, I just spliced my wires into it's input wires then sent the output straight back to the rear lights.
That golf cart is too cool 👍
No matter what people say. Keep on working. I like all the stuff you do on your channel. Keep up the great work
Love the way you work through the problems you encounter;anybody can go to the car spares shop for everything.
I will certainly keep watching love old American trucks. ( call them pick ups in England 🏴). Lol 😂. You sir are very entertaining feels like you are speaking directly to me. 👍👍👍👍
I’m addicted to these videos rn can’t stop watching, this dudes single handedly gonna get me into car restoration
That old sawmill was cool to see.
Love the tank tumbler! Adapt and overcome has always been my motto 👍
Man I love what you do. Your definitely cut from the same cloth as I am. I love bringing old junked out vehicles back to life.
Been waiting for the FRIDAY NIGHT DELITE!! AND IT'S FINALLY HERE AGAIN! LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I LOOK FORWARD TO THIS AND THAT GARAGE VIDEOS!!
That sawmill seems like an amputation in waiting. Logically, I understood that everybody was going to be fine at the end of the video, but watching it, I was on the edge of my seat.
I like seeing the work on Lock Jaw you got a lot done I thought good video Chad looking forward to the next one
Excellent video Chad :) also take in steps fix up certain versions of vechiles to and you fix them up ! Also do super work to and like too ! Also yes Farmall 30 did excellent job at Sawmill Cutting wood Chad :) my late Uncle Bill he used oldest tractor in farm he also my late Dad run together years also 3 other rent farms too ! Tractor was a 1950 Cockshutt COOP 40 my late Grandfather Bill bought new at assembly plant in Brampton Ontario in 1950 and that tractor was gas motor a Buta 235 Cubic Cm 6 cylinders motor 43 hp with 60 torque 6 volt positive ground it had Belt pulley steel also wood on ever August first weekend to October on Halloween weekend from 1950 to 1993 he take to Thursdays to Sundays run old Cockshutt tractor belt on 8 local fairs on Fairswheel and belt drive off ! My uncle take Antifreeze coolant , 20 quarts of 80w90 differential fluid , 24 quarts engine oils , plus oil pot filters, geri cans of gas fuels plus have some Desiel fuel so mix in gas keep motor running smoothly also , fuel tank bowl filters , spark plugs plus wires plus cap and rotor also points too ! Engine belt! The tractor did lots hard working on farms and fairs! But my uncle made money 💰 getting paid from fairs too and remember him saying Thursdays nights do 6 hours , Friday also Saturdays on 10:00 am to 11:00 pm , Sunday 9:00 to 3:00pm $1.000 dollars each 8 weeks to and paid for eat and drinks plus fuel costs also supplies! He got me help in my teens years and when I got my driver's license get supplies like fuel for or others maybe need! Lots memories for sure!
❤ great work love it 🛻🚜🔧⚒️🦘👍from Australia can't wait for next one good job
Hello Australia! 👍
Awesome video, l really enjoy watching you with all your trucks , keep them coming chad
t"I'm still feeling the effects of building this shop so I can't afford another one." ha ha... yeah isn't it great, you salvage an old building from another place, hold on to all the wood and metal and all that.. still even still it costs an arm and a leg to put it up PLUS all that concrete and rocks.. yeah man.. AND the pool to deal with.. I sure hope that got straightened out so you can at least refresh yourself on these HOT days (its 9,000 degrees here tonight when you dropped this video)
Thank you for the hard work, silly to think that lockjaw would be so entertaining and frustrating as well. Love the progress, but mostly the hard work in the videos and the editing.
Good to See You Sir
That sawmill is awesome 😎👍
😊 well, sir another great video. Thank you and oh by the way thank you for the motivation. I’ll go out to the garage work on boats, boat motors, lawnmowers motorcycles. Sometimes I get a little aggravated but I can stop come in the house sit down have a glass of tea watch your videos, and I’m motivated to get right back out there. So thank you for the motivation. You’re a good man.
That's awesome! 👍
You gave me the Willy’s with that brown recluse…😅 Lawd have mercy… Also the oh yeah get out of here had me rolling when you were getting out from under the truck…🤣 It’s rough on us older fellers…😭
I like Ole lock jaw. I like your style sir. You are just the real deal down to earth guy.
👍
Love how your so real and not a fake show your down to earth and your a awesome person to watch love u bro keep up the good work
Chad i honestly think you're the best mechanic you never give up and figure it out without spending money and i know it's eating up time fast so keep doing what you want and i keep on enjoying your videos, fingers crossed 🤞
Preshate it! 👍
I love your channel, I look forward to seeing your videos come up. You are my kind of folk. 1👍👍👍
Keep doing what you're doing. I look forward to your video every week. I appreciate you show. What a mechanic, really go's threw
Absolutely love your channel and everything you do. Like many are saying, don't change. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Channel is growing. Congrats on ur hard work and motivation. I’m
Lockjaw reminds me of some of the old VW beetles and buses people would bring to us to restore.
The boss always said "it's their dime!"
It also reminds me of the vehicles a lot of us truck drivers had to leave parked at the terminal. Didn't want to leave anything good sitting there for weeks at a time!
I get so excited about Fridays now, it’s knowing I’ll get to see your handsome face ❤
I bought the same power steering pump adaptor, ended up spacing the bottom mounts out around a half inch and tossed the adjuster bracket in the trash, i used a slotted bracket i had laying around and bolted it to the head and the stud on the back of the pump. it works butt it was a pain in the butt. i realize there are a lot of pulley combos but that fit all , doesn't fit all. another good episode , really enjoyed the saw mill footage.
Your channel is awesome, always very interesting…cheers from your neighbours up north 🇨🇦
Hello Canada! 👍
Whenever you take apart a qjet ALWAYS make sure the "C" clip/hanger for the float stands proud of the carb body when pressed down. If it's flush or below the carb body take the clip and spread it apart, don't worry about overbending it because once the top is bolted on it will compress the clip perfectly. If that clip is too flat it will flood over nonstop. Also your part throttle issues could be the power piston being sticky or the spring too weak, polish the piston and bore and if spring looks ok, stretch it out a bit to get some more tension back in it.
All that has been done.
Happy Friday y'all! Running a little late this week but I made it in before midnight! Lol! Hope everyone's doing well and had a great week! Here's to an even better weekend! 💙🙏🏼
That's a Barred Owl and that's actually... well....a "booty call"! 🤦🏻♂️🤣
I love seeing things get reused and a project coming together from using what you have or salvage. We live in too much of a disposable world as it is!
Heck Yeah! A Friday night vid with This N That Garage, and "Oh, by the way", Tstorms rolling into West MIchigan. Life is good!😃😎
Everyone has haters its part of being noticed buddy. Your doing great and I and a huge group of people really enjoy your videos. I like the relatable content
Love your show look forward to it every week
I took my tractor to the parts store before they all laughed at me that I was crazy but I live in an orchard community so I thought it was normal the grocery cart on the back with the forks. I used to haul my brake discs and drums home so I can get my truck back together. Gotta use what you got better than walking.
Love your gas tank cleaning apparatus.👍🏻 Brilliant!
I get tickled at TA-DA! EVERYTIME,, also I've always used what i got to use too,, especially when i can't afford new stuff,, use what ya got! That's the recycling way!!
I've got in-laws in Adam's TN. I'm in California but I've been to the Threshermin's show, what a kick that you had something in the show. Love how you figure stuff out on these old trucks. I have a 76 Chevy semi custom. Keep the good stuff coming.
Your videos never cease to amaze me that’s the first time I’ve ever seen a tractor cut a log it was so cool !!!
That fuel tank cleaning method is genius. Will be doing that in the future. Thanks for passing it on!
You are definitely already using that new garage a lot!! I can’t believe how many jobs you have on your list. Keep the videos coming!😊
You do what you want to do. I enjoy seeing people restore older vehicles if they can . Need a lot of work but love to see it when it running.
You crack me up you must be a cool person to hang out with shoot the breeze talk about cars trucks and rescues and some of your funny jokes wish i can come over to give you a hand shake just love your handy skills and joke about it keep lock jaw going its amazing he was left for dead in the woods and you rescued it from the woods the right way put the parts on and drive it out of its resting place thats awesome thats when i started following your channel by the way love how your shop came out👍💫
I met for the first time last weekend and he is truly a good man! Hope some of his other fans get to meet him too!! Enjoyed the conversation I had with him greatly!!
@@JS-kd7jf thats cool👍
I chuckle every time I see lockjaw,I had the same truck in the gawd awful green paint ! But it ran like a champion and I was sorry to get rid of it! Thanks a million for the memories!
That's the first time I've ever seen that done how that used to work back in the day how they used to cut trees and lumber it's just crazy to see how that works..
Love this channel, definitely a favorite.
Ta Daaaa!"LOL ..worked with a guy some years ago who said that too. Unlike you....he said it after screwing something up.
BTW. Your content on your vids is just great! I look forward to your channel more than the handful of others I watch. Guessing I'm not alone on that thought.
Preshate it! 👍
Everyone needs time off.Take care of yourself first and don’t overdo it during these hot days of summer.I enjoyed the video because you’re real and says it like it is.I especially enjoyed watching the F-150 operate the old sawmill. Thanks

Sure enjoyed your video your so enjoyable to watch just plain folks like myself doing the best we can
Be careful. It looks like you got a little sheet metal in your rust there, don't cut yourself! 🤣🤣
Thank you for showing what you are working on.
You are really resourceful! Can’t wait to see lockjaw when you are through with all you have planned for it. Shop needs a lift too!
Thanks for another great video ❤
I think your channel is great exactly how it is. I wanna see what you do with lockjaw. The people that keep saying negative things don’t need to be here. I mean ok I admit I thought you might have gone crazy with you started on lockjaw because it’s not one I would’ve put money in to but I can appreciate what you’ve done with it so far. Keep doing what you’re doing I watch every video you put out and can’t find anything negative to say about what you do. Thanks for the entertainment
It sounds like it's raining again.
It's nice you have a dry place to work now.
You remind me of me workin on my projects. It's nice to know there are other human beings out there. I can relate to you quite a bit. makes me think of me working on a project. I do not know if I believe use what you got, but I sure do use only what I have. Wish I could weld, its about the only thing I cannot do when it comes to workin on a project. Anyway, I enjoy watchin ya. I have thoroughly enjoyed watchin you put lockjaw together and look forward to seeing it done. I watched part 2 and didn't think you would ever get that headlight trim on. Ain't gonna stop watchin till I see you finish lockjaw. I'm watching you all the time now.
