Congratulations to you and Lauren on your 9 years together and on your re-marriage ceremony this past weekend. You two make a wonderful couple and you deserve the happiness you so evidently share together from what I can see in your videos. I wish you both all the best. Cheers!
Definitely a rare occurrence to see Ray using two hands in the shot! I hope people understand how much dexterity and skill it takes for him to do this job this well and to do it mostly one handed😂
A big congrats on the marriage vows/celebration. You are one lucky guy. You have a beautiful wife. And from what I've observed you two have a great relationship. So sorry to hear about your son's broken bone. Hope he heals quickly (they do at that age). Interesting troubleshooting and issues with that Silverado. Thanks for taking us along. Look forward to the continuation of the repairs. 😊
thats great news on the wedding i asked my wife if we could get remarried and she said what for we are already married i must admit we have been married for 53 years so really what is the point,we love each other and say so every night before we go to sleep .thanks for the video
So, have a picnic and just hang out and be together. If it's too cold outside, maybe a living room picnic. Either way, music and NO phones, no TV, no internet. Light snacks and a bottle of your favorite fancy or semi-fancy beverage.
You should have consulted with the radio restorers of your fans who are knob specialists. Go look at the knob directly opposite the arrow on the tuning switch. There is a tightening screw to loosen the knob. The mount for the switch is a large thin hex nut which unscrews and allows the switch to slip out. 😀
Remember Ray whenever the troll comments get to be too trolley, just remember you win. You have an amazing wife, children, and you have your own car repair business. You're successful. 🙂
Best wishes for your kid to make a speedy recovery and congratulations on the renewed vows, in a world where it seems everyone is getting separated it’s nice to see strong relationships still there. Love to see it man!
Thank you ray for another great repair video Congratulations on your re marriage! (I got married once, not doing that again!) Best wishes to your son, wishing a speedy recovery. Best wishes from cornwall uk.
A big Congrats to you and Lauren for your celebration of marriage! I wish you both many years of prosperity and happiness. I hope your son is not in too much pain. He certainly is getting more than his fair share of breaks! I send prayers for healing and comfort his way! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Congratulations on your second wedding. Sorry your son was injured 😮 get well soon to him. 🤠 I believe I saw a set screw on the backside of the knob you were trying to remove 🤔
That tuning knob may have a set screw in it. You might have been covering it with one of your phalanges. 😁 GM must have had a summer student design that thing. A set of stacked potentiometers & switches would have been better, but probably $.12 over budget for the vehicle.
This Thanksgiving day will be two years since my grandson broke his elbow and in May he broke it again and this last weekend he broke it for the third time, I think he likes the cast way to much. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
There was a bunch of these comments when Ray fitted the filter/pump. And I guess after seeing how it's fitted on this truck he has found the perfect place to fit them now
Cool to see that the dash structure didn't change too much between the 90s and then. That's exactly how you would take out the dash in my Blazer. It also had a failing dash dimmer 🙃
I love how easy it is to work on an old Chevy. So much stuff you can pull apart with no tools at all! I have a '00 and a '19, it's funny how much they have in common after 20 years.
Looks like a clean break and carelessness and rushing will always lead to trouble. OH, and more importantly, I hope your little boys collar bone break heals quickly as well Ray. Done it myself when young and wishing him all the best.
My wife and I have been married for 46 years. Have 2 grown Adult children. It’s been quite a journey to get here. Best of luck & Best wishes for you “2”.
Many congratulations for your re-marriage. May you celebrate many more. Sorry to know your son broke his collarbone. Not an easy injury to mend, but he's still young, so he will recover. Lauren is another shiny advocate, I see. Those switches look so flimsy for such a fine truck. Slow but steadily going back to normal.
Most people have had the colored lights install by ISS Automotive industries! There work has a life time warranty! Have replaced my Dash cluster and their warranty is excelent
Congrats on the celebration and I hope your son heals quickly so he get back to being a kid. My youngest son has broke both his collarbone it made him slow way down for about a week and then he was good to go
I have an 07 Classic body style I’m considering selling. Tired of paying full coverage insurance on 3 vehicles. Don’t have a boat anymore so nothing to tow. Arizona truck, zero rust. 176k miles.
Mr Ray, Diesel Dudes for your tuner and shift by fly switch. The shift by fly wheel is held in place by a small set screw or you can remove by loosening the nut behind it.
Missed the set screw on the tuner knob.
Came here to say that as well.
@@beauthestdane As did I. Look for a small allen screw.

Excellent video, wishing your son a speedy recovery.
Hope your son is doing better and healing fast.
Congrats on the celebration of your marriage. Appreciate you guys!

I’ve been a sub for so long I remember when your boy broke his collarbone. Congratulations on the re marriage Ray!
Definitely a rare occurrence to see Ray using two hands in the shot! I hope people understand how much dexterity and skill it takes for him to do this job this well and to do it mostly one handed😂
Must have heard me swearing at the screen basically saying use two hands.
Thank for the exploratory surgery on those switches. Now we know WHY those switches fail. Always an education!
Hope son is feeling better.
You just diagnosed my 2006 Sierra light switch issue😁. Looking forward to the conclusion on this one.

Congratulations on the remarriage celebration. Sorry about your son's injury.
Hugs and prayers & congratulations on your re- marriage ❤
They chose an awesome name for that dash label!! Love it!! 😊❤

Yeah, i never understood the re-marriage. Your already married, why re-new vowels unless.......lol
So, have a picnic and just hang out and be together.
If it's too cold outside, maybe a living room picnic.
Either way, music and NO phones, no TV, no internet.
Light snacks and a bottle of your favorite fancy or semi-fancy beverage.
Well my answer was simpler: "Sorry, I don't make the same mistake twice"

😀
I was literally telling Ray this when he turned it and you can see the hole for the set screw.
I did Government contract sales for 13 years. Sold a lot of Facet and Baldwin filters. Really good filters.
Congratulations, you two. Many more happy returns!
Thank you ray for another great repair video Congratulations on your re marriage! (I got married once, not doing that again!) Best wishes to your son, wishing a speedy recovery. Best wishes from cornwall uk.
My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary last week.
They Call it having a senior moment, Ray. 🤣🤣

Make sure the new ECM doesn't say Abby Normal on it.
There should be an Allen head set screw in the metal knob on that boost circuit. Cheers.
Hang on to that particular wife unit.
Congratulations on your second wedding. Sorry your son was injured 😮 get well soon to him. 🤠
I believe I saw a set screw on the backside of the knob you were trying to remove 🤔
As always, I would like to thank you for putting out awesome content
Always nice to see Lauren.

When he turns it up to 5 you can just see the hole for the screw.
This Thanksgiving day will be two years since my grandson broke his elbow and in May he broke it again and this last weekend he broke it for the third time, I think he likes the cast way to much. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
I would be worried about high centering and ripping the filters off.
There was a bunch of these comments when Ray fitted the filter/pump. And I guess after seeing how it's fitted on this truck he has found the perfect place to fit them now
Coloured lamps ... use blue nail polish. Works every time. Oh, by the way. the knob is held on with a grub screw, centre of yjr knob underside.
Cool to see that the dash structure didn't change too much between the 90s and then. That's exactly how you would take out the dash in my Blazer. It also had a failing dash dimmer 🙃
Aother great video Ray Man
On the light dimming switch, try a spray of TV tuner cleaner or similar.
There was a tsb couple years ago dirt/dust accumulation. Just a thought
Probably need a hex key to release that knob. I see Lauren is a 'shiny' enthusiast also! 😆
Wife unit remarried you? She is definitely a keeper and you will be together forever
And my dim switch needs to be replaced too
Congratulations to you both
Praying for a speedy recovery for your son. Congratulations on the remarry

That type of knob has a small set screw in the bottom of the knob
It shows just how much nicer your cadillac interior swap is, from the stock chevy interior
Good morning Ray 🌄 well congratulations again 9 years anniversary 15 years of marriage and going strong.😃💪💜

it's been a year in your new business.... have you ALSO celebrated this??
Hearty congratulations to you both.
the knob you were trying to remove ... I believe I saw a set screw on the bottom.
It looks like there's a set screw on the bottom of that knob that would come out and then you just unscrew the jam nut
Great video. Thanks. Congratulations, hope the young man is feeling better. Learning stuff watching your stuff
Congratulations on the celebration. That's awesome!
Congratulations 🎉🎉
Congratulations. Hope you may get many more years to celebrate.
Congratuleisions to You remarrigenday ❤😊
oh man that pain is much more intense when you get older. make sure he heals it properly
Great video, Love the faked blue LED. It took a lot of years to get real blue LED's hence the blue transparency.
🎉🎉 congrats on the remarriage
I married my wife twice, too. On the same day. A legal thing. Been married for 35 years.
Can’t believe you didn’t hear me yelling into my Ipad that there was a set screw in the knob! 😊

I don’t know if you noticed but that switch on the Bessel has a set screw.

Congrats both of you. I’m dodging pot holes in my sunburn Silverado, sorry somebody had to say it.😊
7:16 would you also say it's a "Vin D(iesel)?" Yeah.. Bad dad joke. 18:09 there is a set screw on the back of that knob.

Mr Ray, Diesel Dudes for your tuner and shift by fly switch. The shift by fly wheel is held in place by a small set screw or you can remove by loosening the nut behind it.
Congratulations on your anniversary, it will be 41 years for us on Oct. 29.

Sorry about youall son ,Hope he gets better soon. Caribbean man
Seriously, Prayers for Lil Man and collar bone, Congratulations on the Remarriage ! You all are the cutest couple ever !
This makes me miss my 02 Silverado. It was so easy to pop the dash cover off and swap stuff out lol
Your son loves his bones so much he breaks them twice.
Congratulations just saying
As an experienced Heathkit builder, I can tell you the switch knob you wanted to remove has a set screw in it.
I thought I saw a hole in the knob for a set screw.
Good day Ray and hi to the guys
Praying for your boy
Congratulations 🎉 to you Both!!!
Your videos are very good. I always look forward to your videos. I wish you happiness and good health
Gratulation on your 15th anniversary
