Gennaro you have clearly spent lots of time with Jamie Oliver...your accent is half his and half yours....I have never seen anyone prepare a dessert in their lap whilst sitting next to the gas cooker....you are priceless...and obviously enjoy sharing your talents with creating superior cuisine....you do brighten the day!!! thank you!
My father was from Italy. I can remember him and my grandmother making egg yolks and sugar beaten together in a cup. I used to love it! Didn't know about the Lemon cello or of cooking it though. Healthy stuff!
THAT is cooking for me: emotion, knowledge, passion, science, good products, humor: LOVE! thank you so much, I enjoed both refreshing my knowledge for making the perfect Zabaglione (am going to do tonight) and also watching and listening to you, vero maestro d'al cuore de la cuccina italiana.
He's my favorite Chef. Cute as a button and he really knows what he's doing. I could watch and listen to him all day. If he ever started his own cooking show, every other celebrity chef in the world would be in TROUBLE. :)
I've tried Zabaglione before and true be told I didn't like it, but you Gennaro have made me reconsider giving this dessert another try. The way you enjoy preparing and tasting the different recipes you do makes me want to try it all! Love you from Argentina.
I hope there will be a miracle one day and Laura Vitale and Gennaro do a collab together. Two Italians who love food working as one?? It will be the greatest thing ever!
Gennaro Contaldo.. The craziest italian cook ever... lol.. I know him as mentor of Jamie Oliver..He mention him alot through all of this years.. Try this receipt as well..Chocolate tiramisu... I´ve tried it last Sunday and it was...just perfect...
Gennaro mi paisan, ti amo.......you are amazing ! I am so glad I am Italian, La Dolce Vita, Italians make the BEST of everything, There are only 2 kinds of people in this world, Itaians and people that wanna be ! Ciao ~
if I was a God lovin man, I'd say "God bless this man"..however...God bless this man and his passion. the way it SHOULD be! SO much better than boring Bobby Flays or other "celebrity" Chefs...
I'm always so jealous of people in Europe and Asian when it comes to eggs, that beautiful orange color and superior flavor, instead of bland pale yellow stuff we get from even the "free range etc." type here in America.
I made this and it came out wonderful. The only difference is I made sure to heat it up to 165 for 15 seconds to make sure there were no bacteria. Delicious with amaretti cookies.
This dude right here is the reason I love cooking!I have learned so much from the G man & Jamie! The passion is ridiculous! Thank you!By the way! This is SOOOO GOOD! : )
I just made this for breakfast. Didn't have any limoncello so i just used lemon juice, and i ended up scrambling the eggs a little, but it was so smooth and creamy and just awesome. might try it with like rum chatta or something next time
thank you-- now i have something new to try --only been 2 yrs. i been making my own LIMONCELLO with 75% EVERCLEAR grain alcohol - i hope this recipe will be good to taste
When I was a kid from time to time my mum made it for me . As this is supposed to be a very energizing stuff she mostly made it in the morning. Instead of alcohol (she would normally use Marsala) she added coffee. I also remember she was able to make it "fluffy" by only beating and stirring and not putting it on boiling water. It's easy but requires strong arms. Give it a try! :-) Barbara
I can never get enough of watching Gennaro. He reminds me so much of my grandfather, he was also a cook full of passion for live and food...
Gennaro's the best!! :)
I love the way he describes things with so much passion, I'm definitely going to try this at home!
Marsala Is the best for zabaione (not Zabaglione...).
@@silvanodelazzari8522unholy wine is best
His cockney/italian accent is frigging lovely!
el scientifico I was so confused by the muddling. Thank you for clarifying. The addition of Cockney makes perfect sense.

The heat is to pasteurize it and kill off any bacteria, making it safe to serve to other people.
