Perfect recepie for beginners. I made it last New Years (with my horrible stove and zero experience), and it turned out great! And I have 'practiced' it a few times since, so I am a lot faster now. 😋
I prefer to use the real vanilla bean pods instead of extract, and I use 250 ml for 4 people (I just scale the other ingredients so they are the same ratio), and top off with fresh berries, depending on what is available. Bonus tip: if you have to serve it for others, make a tiny serving in a shot glass, and taste ahead. So you know it tastes as it should. 😁

I made the Strawberry Panna Cotta, today. (4-15-21). We liked it so much, my wife asked me to make a triple batch. Only changes I made, was the gelatin leaves. I could not find them in any local stores. So, I had to use Knox brand gelatin powder type. Still turned out great. My garnish was a strawberry.

Just attempted this recipe for New Years, it is in the fridge waiting to be ready. I am really nervous how it will turn out. 😅 Very useful video for newbies though; would have made a few mistakes if I had not watched this video.
My stove is horrible, so it took around 30 minutes for the tiny bubbles to appear, even if the cream was still warm. The gelatine soaked for that long as well. The cream turned slightly beige/very light caramel color. But I did use vanilla pods instead of extract, so I think it might be color from there. But there was no gelatine clumps, so I will cross my fingers it still taste good! I don't think it burned, because I stirred it the whole time.
