Hello. I have 4 different products, they are all in boxes with different quantities in them. I want an easy way to generate a customer invoice where I can just select the item from say a drop down list and it gets the price automatically for me. Whats the best way to do this?

The type of scenario I mean is calculating the overall price of cloth used when there are three different price rates per meter used. In my table I have Price A for 1-30m of cloth, Price B for 30-200m of cloth and Price C for 200m+. I am trying to build a calculator where I could key in the meterage and choose the type of cloth from a drop down menu so that the appropriate cost per m would be calculated. If anyone has any suggestions for what other Excel technique/formula to learn next in order to do this I'd be very grateful.
Usually, we type a specific column number in the VLOOKUP formula - this would get the price from the 4th column: =VLOOKUP(B4,tblProduct,4,0) If you have the number of metres in cell C4, use the IF function to find which column to use (2, 3 or 4): =VLOOKUP(B4,tblProduct,IF(C4>=200,4,IF(C4>=30,3,2)),0)

what if you have products that are based on quantities...for example, from 1-500, price=x, from 501-1000, price=y, etc.???

What if there are two prices of same product
