Thanks for the great video, very informative & educational. Can I apply T-200 without the primer ? I have a cracked external vertical wall which cause water seepage into the internal room. So, I need to repair the hai lines cracks with putty & apply T-200 over the wall with old painting as waterproofing & undercoat ,after that I will apply new painting over the wall . Can it works that way ? Thank you.
This may work too! However, applying primer will definitely increase the adhesion. And, you might notice that putty doesn't "stick" that well with the cracked surface after time.
Scrape the old paint off. Pressure wash if you have one. Roll a primer layer of Pentens T-007. Wait until tacky (sticky). Use cementitious waterproofing such as Pentens T-305 (34KG) or better yet Bostik Boscoflex (30KG) and ( Double the price). 2nd coat apply after 6-8 hours perpendicularly. You can see many videos on RUclips on how to prepare it.
This method is a lot cheaper but comes only in Grey. With this method also , you don't need to patch the hairline cracks as the crack bridging property is very thick. You might need to add angle fillets to the base of the external wall beforehand because in my case the lower part of the wall kept staining in yellow colour (water seeping). I used silicone , before i knew better.
I have used t-200H and it's about 4 times more expensive than the Pentens T-305 from where I'm from (kilo for kilo).

It's ok kalau tak dapat tanggalkan semua cat after water jet. Yang penting bebas habuk, and apply at least 2 layers of primer.

For external slab at water tank area, which one better Fleseal T-200 vs Pentens T-200 UV. It is same
Both are equally good, T200H is the enhanced version. Most importantly, use the right technique/method to do the waterproofing.
What is the importance of primer? And how long have to wait before applying the T200?
Primer increase the adhesion or bonding strength between the waterproofing membrane and substrate. You may apply T-200 once primer touch dry, and recoating of T-200 is about 4-8 hours.

T200 vs T200H yang Mana lebih bagus utk slab concrete. Dimana tiada plaster atau Simen sebelom ni, nak buat waterproofing terus. T200 atau T200H. Slab ni exposed dgn matahari Dan hujan sepenuhnya
Pendapat saya, kedua-dua ini boleh digunakan, cuma T200H ada enhancemeent in term of materials. Yang penting sekali, prosedur mengaplikasikan waterproofing kena buat dengan betul dan teliti.
@@ATKCeWarehouse Saya dah buat. T007 saya apply dulu, bagi Kering. Lepas tu apply T200h 1 layer. Semasa saya buat ni, mmg panas membakar matahari. Saya biarkan Kering 1st layer, esok Hari ya saya buat 2nd layer. Lusanya pulak buat 3rd layer. Dah siap.

@@hazwansalam4568 Permukaan berpasir atau "porous" boleh menyebabkan waterprooding gagal kerana membrane tidak melekat pada permukaan dengan sempurna.

Not recommended. T-200 is designed as exposed waterproofing membrane.
Fleseal T200 can I apply on roof tiles, then roof paint for final coating
If you are are using T200, that would be the final coatings (at least 2-3 layers).

Yes, you can. However, T-200 comes in 3 colours too.
Hi can I paint another colour using normal paint on top of t200 which is 1st layer on the wall?
I applied T-200 on RC Roof which exposed to direct sunlight (balcony). I usually walk in & out that area with slipper to hang clothes. After sometimes, the waterproof layer (which looks like rubber layer) peel-off. Can suggest what need to apply to harden the waterproof layer ?
This is very common, as T-200 or any similar products. First, make sure that you apply the T200 according to the application temperature and let it cured before recoating or using. Second, you may want to try similar products with added fibers, this may last longer.

Can I apply on metal grills first layer n paint another colour paint when dry?
This product is not suitable.
Actually, I did applied to my back iron door at places where had started to rust because was wet whenever it rained n it stopped the rusting.... process. So I thought I paint 1 layer of penten t200 b4 painting my preferred colour. I like to know if I could do that? Tq
@@julielai6294 The use of T200 on the "rusty" part prevents water from reacting with metal, which indirectly stop the rusty process. You may apply gloss paint which is a better product for rust protection.

No recommended. T200 is exposed waterproofing. You can consider using T100 or T100 Pro. On top, apply cement render before installing the floor tiles.

Kebiasaanya, t200 digunakan untuk dinding luar kerana boleh melindungi drpd UV. Untuk dinding dalam pun boleh, tetapi tidak dapat finishing yang licin seperti cat dinding dalaman yang sepatutnya.

It was stated in the product catalog. But, I have yet to see it.
You should never coat a metal roof. water pools underneath when the membrane is ruptured, causing rust and leak.

@@ukasyahdb4424 Nasihat: Selepas T007 atau & T200 dibuka, jangan campurkan air ke dalam tong yang asal. Hanya keluarkan yang mencukupi untuk pakai. Tempoh hayat yang disyorkan dari kilang ialah selama 12 bulan.
