- SikaCoat®-500 Super is a one component, water-base, liquid elastic waterproofing coating, based on styrene-acrylic copolymers with integral micro-fibre reinforcement. SikaCoat®-500 Super coating system is formulated to provide enhanced tensile strength of the coating product and forms a flexible, tough and durable reinforced protective waterproofing membrane layer. Usage
■ Waterproofing of flat (horizontal) roofs and on other types of substrates, including concrete decks / roof, asbestos roof, roof tiles (either concrete or clay type), cement mortar, metal / zinc roofs, tiles

yes.
For the flat roof with heavy traffic, what do you recommend for waterproof application? I do not intend to put tiles as it might cause more hassle to rectify if there's any leakage.
fundamentally, please ensure floor level gradient towards the drainage outlet and ensure there is no water ponding. This is the basic in waterproofing info.
For flat roof, can we apply Sika 500 as the 1st layer on top of the concrete slab, then add 2nd layer with Penten T-100 to enhance the waterproofing?
no, these are 2 different type
Hi there, my exterior wall keeps getting white stains. Suspect there are water seepages causing paint efflorescene. Does sikacoat-500 seal all the cracks then can i paint over with jotashield antifade. Will this prevent the white stains from forming again
The white stains, actually comes from within due to water/moisture. It does help to use the SIKA 500, however, if possible, please try to locate the point of water leakages/seepages.

Can I use weatherproof exterior paint on top of it? I have read the specs but it says it's a single use paint. Unlike other waterproof paints, this one does not say you can over paint it.
You can use this as the finish layer, or apply another weatherproof paint (acrylic) on top for other colour option.

I don't recommend, since waterproofing leakage or failure will be from inside wall going out. This will not help!
How to remove old water proofing paint ? Even with a scrapper can't remove much ? What should we do to remove old stains of water proofing paint.
Leave it, reapply primer or directly apply new coating of waterproofing. Please pay attention to corners and edges.
Can i used on top of old waterproofing slab?

Hello Mr. Kok Gei. Good day to you. Where can I buy the manual mixer that you are using in the video? Do they sell it in Shopee? Is a RC flat roof considered one of the areas that I should not use Sikacoat 500 super?
sikacoat 500 is suitable for exposed waterproofing area, which include your RC flat roof.
1) Does SikaCoat has transparent type ? If we apply it on balcony, it will cover up the original tile color.
2) If SikaCoat doesn't have transparent type, should i use applying it on the tile grouts?
3) OR should I use SIKA GARD 703 WATERPROOF GROUT SEAL?
4) Does SikaCoat prevents mould?
1. It has white/ grey colour only.
2. You may consider sika grout seal 703. Kindly refer to my video.

Most of the applicable substrates are concrete, cement render, masonry, metal, timber, and etc. I'm not sure about applying on top of PVC materials, but definitely need to make the surface rough before applying.

Yes, you actually can.

The main difference is that Sika 500 comes with added fibre reinforcement, and Nippon F200 without.

Sika 500 has added fibers, which is better enhancement than Sika 300.
how do i measure 0.65kg/m2 , i plan to use sikacoat 500 for slab roof. beside that what do you recommend for exposed side wall. ?
Multuply 0.65 with the area of the slab roof = you shall get the amount required (kg) for 1 coat.
You may use this for exposed wall too.

Hi sir.i used this sica500 to my slab with 2layers.after few months it forms the bubbles on the surface make me headache even thou i follow the spec of painting🥴do i need reapply again🥴

@@ehorChannel Thank you! I presume that the water tanks are flat bottom. Yes, you need to recoat the bottom surface. If not, you may use a rubber sheet in example to separate it from the floor.
