With all these crazy comments I can see that people have never used liquid Rubber, I've done my flat roof, and I mean flat, with liquid Rubber about 10 yrs ago and it's still solid 👍👍
Hiya, Amazing video with a lot of information. Thank you. I have a coated fibre glass roof which hasn't been maintained for about 20 years. It's not leaking but I want to restore it to prolong it's life. I am getting conflicting info from companies. Some say use acropol some say don't, some say cromopol and acropol would peel off after a couple of years because of the old coating etc. I am so confused. Can you help please? Thnx
We visited Craig's house at the end of last week to see the progress of his office build. We're happy to report that it's still holding strong over a year after it has been applied 👍
its good it absorbs heat, its really stretchy and doesn't crack as its rubber-ish, its better than rolls because its easier, faster and simply more durable as its all one big piece and there's little to no room for error, you can always just reapply another layer if you think its not good enough.
Yes, this can be used on glass, however, you'll need to make sure that it's cleaned properly of and dirt, dust and debris, then dried prior to application.
@@3csealants hey bub on my garage roof I have a 2 leaks in a 20 sq area, if I want to just spread something over 40 sq feet of shingles until they tear the roof off and give me a new one next summer what can I spread over those shingles with a paint brush and seal the area. Give me a name of a product please
please dont laugh, but could this be use on the van roof, to deaden the sound of the rain, it being a rubber compound, as I live init, most of the time, to put sound insulation inside the van is to much work, paint it on, job done :)
Thanks for your comment, but we visited Craigs house 2 weeks ago, a year after this was applied and it still completely watertight. Providing the job is done correctly, this is actually a very effective method of waterproofing a flat roof 😊

Really?
Thanks for sharing
This stuff actually works. I was sceptical at first.

Looks like a quick fix, interesting to see what the wear will be looks thin, with fibre added may give longevity?

If you plan to have artificial grass on your roof so you can actually use it, then liquid membrane is a great solution
How is this better or faster than polyurethane or bitumen rolls? It is dark black which is a heat absorber too.

Amazing, just what l need
Glad to hear it 😊
How does it handrel hot humid condition?
What does it called the plastic long thing u put on corner
Can I use this on an existing flat roof that is possibly letting a bit of moisture in already?
Yes, this can be used for repairs
How much coverage area does 1 tin do ive got say 4m x 8m x 6m so l shape area
The consumption of Liquid Jacket is 1.5kg per metre squared per layer at 1mm thickness, so each tub would give you roughly 4 metres squared
@@3csealants will be very expensive then 😮 but easier
Can you please tell us which brands you got for it? Thank you
The product in question is called Liquid Jacket Liquid Rubber Membrane, it can be found on our E-Shop www.sealantsonline.co.uk or on Amazon
Such an amazing product!
So for 1 coat, how many SQM does 1 tin cover?

Can this be applied on concrete flat roof?
Yes it can 😊
Yeah I don't think so
i have been doing flat roofs for about 25 years .i haven't never seen nothing like this before
Hi
How much is a flat roof 1800 square feet bungalow. Approx cost to recover? Thanks
I've used it, doesn't last long at all in Australia, heat makes it brittle and cracks and lifts everywhere
You still have to put tiles on top....
@@paulPeasmarshI would go with a traditional rubber membrane.
@@dylandesmond put artificial gras on the top or another nice cover
Is the flat roof angled for water to flow?
Yes, Craig installed the roof at a slight angle. You can view some of the building process in this video: ruclips.net/video/ETwSm0dBTb4/видео.html

Hahahaha no I don’t think so but if you did do it you would probably do a better job than what he did…. Yeeha 🤠
Great
Thank you
This is £77= £19.25 per sq m and at 3 coats costs £57.75 per sq m. So 6 x 3 m roof costs £1,155.
Quite expensive then. An EPDM roof kit would be half the price and probably half the install time.
Leave roofing to roofers , mastic men with brand new clean boots on should keep to window fitting
Sounds like the old art attack lol
Looks good my question is who invented flat roofs and why did anyone build them what a stupid design
i have a badminton court and a barbeque area with stunning views on my flat roof. What do you use your roof for?

Just use a rubber roof ! Faster n way superior
they bubble and make ugly waves when temperature changes

Waterproof? 😆😅🤣😂🙂😁😄😃😀🤣😂
Wouldn't trust this at all, sounds good in theory but paint on membranes are so thin they aren't going to last 5 minutes.

@@3csealants Yeh, see if you can say the same after 5 years. If this stuff is really that good every roofer would be using such products.
@@schrodingerscat1863 if you put sun protection on the top, like artificial grass or tiles or whatever, it will last 30 years easily.
