Damn Pavlovich is on fire with these new camera and light set up :)
Didn't have that much time this couple of weeks to fully watch everything as I usually do, just finished switching my account and re-subscribing on this new account. Just wanted to thank you for sharing this one, so much knowledge!
When things go rough first place to try and find out if there is possible solution is your channel!
Keep on rocking!
ARRRRGGGHHH. I love the tools and bridges for CC to Zbrush. I just wish I could afford Zbrush. Reh!!
I unintentionally created a workflow similar to yours, so I'm loving these videos. They help me get better with it.
Glad the videos are (kinda) helping, you're right that manual steps can always be streamlined, I wish I was better at scripting stuff!
As soon as I saw the video about the plugin update on the Reallusion channel, I immediately started looking forward to your video! It's amazing, and thank you for the detailed explanation.
great job as always, thanks!
This is super useful and helpful, thank you so much Michael!
Appreciate this, Mike P!!
Thanks men for all the knoledge👽
impressive!
Excellent! Right on time per usual. Question, I wanted to export an asset back to Painter for more detailing. I used GOZ Plus and was able to continue work just fine but ran into an error when I attempted to export character back into Substance Painter due to the meshes created in ZBrush . Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Yes!!!
Hi Mike, incredible video, thank you for your time. I'm having an issue where I make changes tot he mesh in Zbrush and send it back the correct way, but there aren't any changes? Any thoughts? thank youu
usually when things get weird I clear my cache and that usually gets things running again: ruclips.net/video/JZLYS7DmPqQ/видео.htmlsi=MMiEsLFHQSLdW5Ru&t=37
Is there a way that Quads can be selected instead of Triangles in the GoZ settings?
For your section on prepping your hockey mask within ZBrush and then bringing into CC4 and essentially have that accessory saved within the CC4 assets to be used with other characters. Can you then sell this mask on the CC4 Marketplace for others to purchase? Will you ever create a tutorial on how to create and sell assets on the CC4 Marketplace?
You can totally sell your creations on the CC4 Marketplace (whether or not there's copyright issues with this PATICULAR "Voorhees-esque" mask I'm not certain, but just a general asset, no problemo). I'm not sure on a timeline for me to cover that info, might be a while, but in the meantime I think this guide covers it all! magazine.reallusion.com/2023/12/13/cc-content-development-guide-for-reallusion-stores-actorcore-marketplace/
Is there a reason why you don't check the box that says "Match CC Model Scale (x100)" at time 42:42 when you import your ZBrush files back into CC4? Also why you don't check the box that says "Match ZBrush Model Scale (x0.01) at time 43:43 when you export back into ZBrush. I have seen different tutorials say you have to check those boxes, some others don't. It just gets a bit confusing when and when not to check those boxes for scaling. Thanks.
the worst thing i hate about CC4 is the lack of places to get support :(, is there a discord or something... im having issues with cloth weights on my characters clothing :(
Does this GozPlus addon fixes all traditional GoZ issues like relinking from CC4 to Zbrush issues?
I haven't had any issues with relinking with the update, in fact, you can now clear your ZB cache files (Preferences > GoZ), traditional GoZ over your ZB subtool assets, hit Cancel in the warning dialog box in CC as a kind of "prime the pump" for GoZ cache rebuild, then if you GoZ from CC to ZB, it'll look at the updated cache files you just made, and have far less chance of having a relink error!
Also, i've got a question: is there any reason now to keep using the old GoZ button even if it's just for changing shape/proportions and not involving diffuse/normal maps? Or would it be better to still keep using that old button and only use GoZ Plus if i need to work on the diffuse/normal maps as well? I hope i was clear and thank you in advance for any clarification.
I still use the old GoZ if I'm just doing SDiv1 updates, don't have to worry about remembering to turn off diffuse / normal and ending up wasting time cluttering up my work session with unwanted bakes...but really it's not a huge deal, might be more of a peek into my psychosis than anything 😅
Ahah ok gotcha, thanks again for quickly replying and clarifying 🙏 have a good weekend
