Thank you for producing this tutorial. It was interesting to discover the Motion Graph feature and the use of Bezier to enhance the eyeballed position and motion.
that's really good man.thank you I previously worked in 3ds max and its motion graph has really cool feature. you can select bunch of object and set the graph to fast or slow. you do not need set all of bones or control object one by one in bezier mode. think you have character with many bones and he falls down to the ground or suddenly crash in to a wall. the only thing just needed to do select all(controlling) bones and key them in where he/she hit the ground or wall. Then select the keys and set the interpolation to fast . moho is really cool application but it needs this interpolation mode. interpolating mode with an ease out-fast in ! shape. I think they must divide every key into in- out mode
I've just finished my bouncing ball. Very pleased with it, thanks to your tutorial. I'm looking forward to more of your stuff. Would be great to be able to follow along with a playlist of your tutorials which lead up to a bigger project. Just an idea. :)
Oh excellent. I've spent the day testing a new rig and wondering how I could possibly live without the motion graph. It's also great for tracking arm swings, making sure they don't go all jagged because I haven't planned carefully.
hello sir i changed the shape of one layer on animation time line frame 1 but i want the same shape on frame zero as default shape to use it as separate layer is there any solution bcz going back to frame zero and making same shape wasting more time

Do you mean you don’t have it as an option above your timeline, or you can’t see the line when you get to the the graph? If you can’t see the line, make sure you double-click on the channel you want to work on (icons to the left) so you see the graphic for that particular setting.
It was a separate freeware app but that was long ago and I can't find a download for it. Will keep looking for it, not sure if it was Mac only. Now I create a vector layer on top, turn off the "draw only in frame zero" preference and make tiny circles for each frame to watch this same thing (does that make sense? it's not a new key for each circle, when you add one it's there for the whole animation, but for arc tracking it does the trick)
Hi Eric! Thanks for this easy to follow tutorial, helped me a lot. I have one doubt though, do you happen to have any clue why when I work on FBX preview mode I can't stretch/warp the ball? I want to import animations to Unity and I need the FBX to work properly, otherwise it won't work on Unity either :( thanks for sharing :)
I'm afraid I don't know a lot about using FBX, I will see if someone knows. It's possible it doesn't recognize the layer warps but would recognize point-based ones. That was true for HTML5 output last time I checked, it supports point animation only for that sort of thing.
