For once I agree with a Man U fan! Sheep is an iconic track. 50 years of listening to Floyd, and Sheep is my all time favourite track on so many levels. 👍
Iconic moment in my life hearing this live on 02/06/23 in Glasgow. First saw Floyd in 1977, but even then, as a 14 year old, I realised I was never meant to be a Sheep. Thank you for everything Roger.
Yeah my Friend I was lucky enough To Be At The Hydro in Glasgow 02/06/23 & it’s a awesome Experience & nostalgic emotional masterpiece that will live with me forever. Great performance from the whole Band & The Legend That is ROGER WATERS. 🐖☝️
THE CHORDS on THIS at the END to FADEOUT Could be the MOST GLORIOUS ......& The SHEEP Dong KARATE !!!....YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
“Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the aiiiiirrrrrr” This was definitely a highlight of the show, and a perfect way to conclude set 1, as he did on the DSOTM tour ❤
i just watched this whole video and when he starts singing my first thought was: “wow! Almost identical to the album version from like 40 years ago! Bravo!” At that age he looks better than a lot of 20-30yo dudes today!
It’s not live. The vocal is identical at every show because it’s a pre recorded vocal he’s done in a studio. The majority of songs on the tour were like this
@@jackrobinson5201 me? Surely that’s on Roger. I went to one of the shows and it wasn’t exactly difficult to notice that he wasn’t doing an awful lot live.
A song called Sheep. A massively rocking tune. All the audience stood there, not moving, filming him. Fucking irony. If I had been there Rog, I would have beem with you, man. Fuck them.
As much as I love Roger, I think every member of Pink Floyd was as important as the next. David for his songs and solos, Roger for his lyrics and vocals, Richard for filling each song with perfect ambience, and Nick for his drumming that was always right for the song.
Animals is my favourite Floyd album by far..!! Growing up as a teenager The Wall came out and then my love affair with Pink Floyd began but the one album I didn't really listen to was Animals as I didn't give it a proper listening to as I thought it was something like the very early stuff (Experimental animal noises)..!! But then as I got older I bought a copy and WOW it absolutely blew my mind..Roger's lyrics, Gilmour's guitar playing and Rick's keyboard rifts and melodies + Nick's drumming..!! I think it's the one Floyd album were every single member of the band contributes in perfect harmony and absolute perfection performing at their peak of their individual abilities that put together makes a MASTERPIECE
Hi, fantastic quality footage, thank you. I would like to remaster the sound and re-edit the footage, and upload to my channel please. Is that okay with you?
I wonder how long he had to practice that baaa....pink floyd actually does apretty good job of reproducing the album sounds live...i couldn't ever believe the could actually play "on the run"live
Several reasons: 1. He has used to just sing on some songs on his shows, ever since the 1980 The Wall tour, because he wants to interact with the audience more instead. 2. Roger did not play bass on the original recording of Sheep in the first place. I think he played rhythm guitar though. 3. He's 80, and standing up and doing a two hour rock concert at that age is hard work, especially with as much energy as Roger's shows, so not carrying around a bass guitar for the entire show probably helps.
The older I grow, the more I appreciate Roger's genius.
The karate sheep made me laugh so much when I saw this show two nights ago. What a brilliant show!
What a fucking track that is and my favourite hidden gem album of all time in Animals. Mind blowing

Best of the best indeed a hidden gem
Team Roger all the way! ❤

“Live is a stretch tbh, the vocals certainly weren’t”.
Possibly the greatest song in all of human history.

clearly the most important member of pink floyd...absolute legend

I love and appreciate Roger. And this is good. But he and David together was like a couple of archangels coming down.
Que impresionante y conmovedor esos tres guitarristas.
Genio

the band sounds like a recording they are so good. I've seen this lineup with Roger 4 times.
To me, this is the quintessential Pink Floyd song 🤟
Who did the mix on this one? You can barely hear the band.
It was a live broadcast so not so unusual that the sound is not perfectly mixed
absolute legend👌perfect
Awesome
Wow this is first son in 70s that got me hooked 🙌🇬🇧❤️

Ti amo
The karate sheeps were the best 😂😂😂
Maestro
This is my favorite “Pink Floyd” song. Why? Because it has the most PROGRESSIVE vibe. 😊 2:41
BEEEEEEEEEHHHH!
Great videos...the best from THIS IS NOT A DRILL. where did you take from????
Comfortabry numb????
Genius!...Gilmour that is.
Im just starting to understand animals😮❤
WIX add came uo in the middle, WILL NEVER USE IT
Porque tan bajo el volumen? :(
This would be great live. But in this clip the mix is not right. I wanna hear those instruments.
There may be DOGS about !!!!!
Got a ad during the song *NOT COOL !!!! 😡*
Dude! Get the vinyl! Stream the movie! But, you’re right. Darned infuriating, I agree. 😉✌️🤘
Out os synch.
Brian the sheep 😂
I dont understand why Roger does not play the bass
Because he didn't want to?
@@Jimmypagesgreatbecause he can't.
Hard to sing and play bass like that at his age, especially when he wasn’t a particularly adept bassist
Several reasons:
1. He has used to just sing on some songs on his shows, ever since the 1980 The Wall tour, because he wants to interact with the audience more instead.
2. Roger did not play bass on the original recording of Sheep in the first place. I think he played rhythm guitar though.

@@sindrebruset4906 wow. I didnt know Roger didnt play the bass in the original track
The mixing guy screwed up
yo wtf was up with those tweets lmao so out of place
You're a sheep then
How much is Roger's IQ?
Horrible sound volume
This song is about anyone who backs the current British government. Galloping into the valley of steel. Tories out!
yeah, let's get labor in so it'll be even worse!
Waters gets weirder and weirder every year.
Too low.do over...
Cheap trick?
Cálmate 😅
Roger Waters may be a great musician but he is a fool.
Roger faking vocals again. He did it on a good portion of the songs on this most recent tour.
80 years. Relax.
Ha ha - what a pillock…
@@brunocassilhas2233Bob Dylan is 84 and still turns his microphone on despite the fact his voice is shot.
Thought it sounded a surprisingly strong vocal
love the song but if it wasn't for Capitalism he would not be where he is stop complaining you are rich Roger
Lacks the lenghty organ coda, as done on the 1977 tour.
i loved the end in '77, shame they didn't keep it, big inspiration
