Great version. The guitar solo was superb.
nargotag absolutely.... Rogers DVD concerts never sound that great. His best ones were 1990 the fall and my personal favourite, In the flesh concert in the early 2000s. Had a hell of a band back then too. Gilmour on the other hand is a perfectionist when it comes to live sound and mixing the dvds as well. Saw them in 1988 and my ears were ringing for 3 days lol
in the 70s, pink floyd traveled to the future"2020" and came back with these songs to alert us..now we re living the real thing..we re assuming our negligence
nah this song is just timeless and really can relate to any time throughout human history

I definitely prefer Roger Waters' solo work over Pink Floyd. When I do listen to Pink Floyd, I mainly listen to the Roger Waters side of the spectrum (Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, and The Final Cut).

I agree. I've seen three other recordings, but I look for meaning behind music. Because Roger Waters stopped the song halfway through to show a dialogue and nuclear annihilation, the whole meaning of the song changed after that. It has never been simply about greed to me after hearing this recording and watching this movie. Roger Waters took this song to a whole new level.
