How can you give stealth the 1st round when 2 of them were dead left in the trees and much shorter than the Callaway just off the fairway in the right rough. If you snap hook the Callaway in the water you should blame the Indian not the arrow. I am not a Callaway fanboy, I just don't think that is a fair test.

Is it me, or did he not even give the paradym a chance. Went through the fairway with the paradym and said it was a bad shot. Did the same thing on the next hole and then said "I wasn't expecting that" almost like it was a positive thing. Idk to me, you never gave the paradym a shot. And I'm not hating, normally I think you're the most unbiased person on YT. But idk this one rubbed me the wrong way
I think you’re referring to holes #2 and #3. On hole 3 my drive with the Stealth went on the exact line I wanted, I just ran out of fairway since that hole gets extremely narrow. I wasn’t expecting to hit it that far with a fade swing.
On hole 2 the Callaway was 10-15° off my line. I did chalk that one up to a bad swing though. The two drives in the fairway that were center contact, the Stealth won out which is the main reason it won that hole for me.
It’s in my best interest to give every one of these drivers equal chance. In the end, one of them is going in my bag.
@Hoppiez I kind of agree with you on this one... to me it felt like he was being very biased towards the TM Stealth 2 on this video. So no, it's not just you I felt the same way. I really enjoy his videos too and am subscribed. I would agree the Callaway never had a chance in this video.

@@xiHoPz I never took at as you trying to be the bad guy here. I absolutely really enjoy and like Let's Play Thru videos and the guy who makes them. That being said, I have to agree though, it did feel like or seem like he was being a bit biased towards the TM S2. It's all good... I've always been a Callaway guy, but fell in love with the TSR1 this year. I never thought I would ever say that either, LOL!

Good way to start. These two were beasts, both on the course and in the pocketbook. You are right about the feel off the club. I know every single time where I mishit the Stealth2. It does let me get away with some stinkers though.
Just curious - how did you decide the brackets? Maybe I missed it, but perhaps you can tell us in your next episode. Seems like these two should have been in separate brackets and possibly met in the finals.
Always love this fun series. The TM was definitely better for you although I was pulling for the Calloway.
The Mizuno driver is either the STZ-220 or the STZ-230, not 223.

Love love , love the bracket match-ups! This one was a beaut! Your swing speed in previous videos seems to max-out around 98mph yet the Stealth gave you around 102mph each time. I’d go with that if I were choosing.
I love this series but I'm disappointed you didn't include the Wilson driver. During your review you appeared to be incredibly positive about it.
There some great drivers and great brackets... I have my favourite so lets see how close I get.

No Wilson Dynapower Carbon? 😩 OH NO!
Last Years Mizuno driver I believe was the 220 series, and this year is 230 series. Prefix being either STZ or STX. I don’t recall a 223 Mizuno driver, that’s a number for an iron along with the 221 and 225 series. Or am I wrong?
Can you add a few more drivers into the series, extend the Wilson and a few others mentioned in other commentary also? Nothing to lose! Lol

Just bought callaway Paradym -definitely an improvement over my epic max ls. I did not try the stealth bc of the red face…..why would Taylormade not give option of standard black face? I wonder how many sales they have lost do to this?
The bracket itself is going to be very interesting. I really don’t think water balls are anything out of bounds counts as the fault of the driver, that is pilot error only. Lol. So the fact that a ball went in the water was not the fault of the club it was a miss-hit. Although this is human testing one must consider if you had a robot set up at the Tee box it would never hit a ball off into the water unless you had a gust of about 40 mph sidewind. So really those can’t count as a stroke against any driver. And as humans to strike the ball purely all the time is virtually impossible unless you are better than the professionals which is reality. I also think to get a true evaluation of any driver you need to hit a few more shots than what is being hit with each driver, Because it’s so easy out of this few group of shots to hit 50% of them less than ideal whereas if you were hitting about 15 to 20 shots are doing a more extensive test you can definitely grab more data and make it more fair. I love the bracket and I think that this is one of the most interesting ones on RUclips, but I think the testing is maybe a little unfair as this one I saw the Callaway just edge the Taylormade on a few occasions that if you count the number of yards it was much closer maybe even the other way around. Don’t get me wrong I like both drivers I think in appearance they look stellar, but I think it was just the bad luck of the draw the Callaway had a few missed hits that affect the outcome that were kind of unfair. But anyway I look forward to seeing the rest of the results it should be interesting.
FYI - they are both shipping at 45.75 inches stock this year. I doubt the swing speeds are that much different. Probably just the way the launch monitors are reading them.

These are the Wilson Staff Triad balls. I really love them. Soft feel, great distance. Would be a tough choice between these and the RB Tours. Both great options.
I play Stealth 1 and love it but I was expecting Callaway to win this one. Most pundits seem to hype up the Callaway- great test

Hi Gabe, how come mizuno stz/x 230 not included in the bracket?
tried these two today ( Stealth 2 and Paradym ) and they did not do it for me,,,,ended up with getting a brand new SIM 2 MAX , I hit it waaaaay better for some reason and got it for 399 Canadian ( 293 US )....the stealth 2 up here in Canada is 950 with tax Canadian....glad i tried the SIM 2 MAX.....cheers all from Canada

These 2 Drivers should have been put in a different Bracket.. These are 2 of the most popular Drivers on the market..
Paradym really is overhyped, G430 was my 2nd, but the TSR drivers were insane, best by far when I tested.
That said, I am 50/50 with even bringing a 460cc driver and use my 300 mini instead, so who knows.

You make good videos and I am subscribed to your channel, but these tests are for your swing. Everyone's swing and feel is different. You might not hit the Callaway as good as the Taylor Made etc etc. I tested the Callaway X, Ping, Cobra, and TSR1 drivers. I didn't like the look, feel, or sound of the Ping or Cobra and didn't hit them as good, but I really liked the Callaway X and TSR 1 and hit them both great. Other people can't really use this as a guide to say which club is better than the other because this is you swinging the clubs not them. It's a personal preference on looks, feel, sound etc. Other than that these are great videos for entertainment. Thank you for all your hard work in giving us great content like this. Keep up the good work.

Your testing is interesting but does not account for quality of strike (poor swing). No matter the head, some swings will generate a poor result. Also, feel / sound / appearance are subjective. It’s fine to discuss your preferences but they should not be included in the test result as performance is king. Value / cost should be discussed but they have no real bearing on actual performance. As a result, value should not be included in the testing results. In short, these drivers will,perform nearly the same if the swing / strike are the same.

Gabe, I have really enjoyed your content for the last few years but after much thought this bracket matchup requires a comment. I, like many others, felt an enormous disconnect between what we were seeing and what we were hearing. Dozens of others have brought up the specifics that caused so much unease so there is no need to rehash the particulars. Something, whether your familiarity and comfort with the SIM 2 or the Diamara shaft, cause an obvious disconnect between your comments and what we were seeing. If it were just me I would dismiss these feelings but clearly I’m not alone in our immediate discomfort and disbelief in what we were seeing and hearing on a channel that never, never even hinted at a bias for any product or brand. Thanks for hearing us out.

Why is PXG not in this comparison
There is no way I trust any of the distances you're seeing on the Garmin. The estimated distances are 30 yards less than the actuals?!? I love these videos. But those discrepancies drive my OCD crazy.
Love this series but i dont think this one pairing was right. More shots needed, not just a 2 or 3.
I went for a driver fitting...the stealth 2 standard beat everything with ease...now I have it and I barely miss a fairway

In order for me to make this series I’ve had to spend over $3,500 on drivers this month. Just this video alone was $1,200 of that. And after reading today’s comment section chalk full of complaints it’s likely the last time I ever do it.

But the greedyness of callaway and taylormade i shoulda figured differently. Sad to hear these comparisons might end, however I can’t say that I can fault you if you do stop doing them.
Hey Gabe, if you really want to outdo these numbers, get a fujukura air speeder 45 gram shaft in a regular flex...you will be amazed. For the distances you are carrying I firmly believe the stiff shafts are not maximizing your distance. I have mentioned this before as well as comparing to fellow golfers I play with. PLEASE TRY ONE ON COURSE, YOU CAN GET A USED ONE ON EBAY CHEAP. THESE SHAFTS WERE 300USD AT ONE TIME.
Thanks for the suggestion. Last year I did play a 45g shaft later in the summer for about 3 months. I enjoyed it, and it was damaged during our meetup when I let folks swing my clubs. If I can get it fixed I’ll pop it back in the driver that wins the bracket and see if we can improve on the numbers.
