Hey Marcus, thanks for showing your new rig! I'm still rolling in my 1997 F250 7.3L Powerstroke with 260K miles. If I ever manage to kill it, your vid shows me what I'll go for!
Life is short. Imagine your truck with two 7.3's in it. That's how strong the newer ones are. I loved my 2000 7.3, but they are in a different universe than a 2017 or newer.
Really great and informative analysis Marcus - it’s great to see an in-depth initial review that’s current and not done by a Ford dealer. It’s also nice that you presented your thoughts, unvarnished and honest, as a ‘regular guy’, not in a technical or gear-nerd overly trucky-speak. That mostly comes off really lame and not the way that I, or probably most folks that can afford this beast, would use this blend of semi-luxury meets a well designed off-road vehicle - thoroughly thought through and capable American performance. I appreciate your concerns about the steering, and will pay more attention to that before buying mine. I’m less concerned about the poor camera resolution, but you’re absolutely correct that it’s shamefully underwhelming paired with such a great ‘surround-pano-360-every possible view’ visibility package on that great new screen that should be soooo much better. I’d add to your comments my brief thoughts from my test drives: love the power and ride feel, and it’s surprisingly nimble and maneuverable in urban situations like parking lots and right turns. The wheelbase is engineered with the steering to allow parking in tight spaces without in+outs to avoid clipping adjacent bumpers. Same with parallel parking for a bigger truck - probably the best is it handles tight right turns easily without hitting the corner curb radius, unlike any truck I’ve ever owned. Decent turning radius given the size and length of the vehicle - again my first thoughts credit a really well-engineered steering-wheelbase design. Wonder your thoughts on your next review! Thanks for this one - very nicely done!
Hi Vadim! Glad you enjoyed the video and perspective. I agree on all your points. As far as reviews I’m hoping to get my hands on the new Raptor. I had the 2020 so curious what’s changed. Again. Thanks for the kind words and stopping by. And happy searching and ordering!!
Outstanding review… realistic and detailed, backed up with examples supporting your identifiable discrepancies of the vehicle… Thank you for this review, you helped me out with my 2022 F-350 LX….👍👍
13:50 those reading lights ARE in fact LED, but they are warm white (which costs more to produce) not the blueish white you may normally be used to. I also have a 22 lariat diesel and a 2020 f150, and Ford has used LEDs on all roof lights since 2017, but they were not warm white until 2020. My 2019 f250 lariat diesel had the blue white which I thought made the black interior appear very starch at night. Warm color is way better.
I just got my 22 that I ordered and when I was checking it out that was the first thing I noticed how horrible and grainy the cameras are. Pointed it out to the dealer and they agreed. 2 of them have the 21 f150 with the 12" screen and they said there's is grainy but not as bad as mine. When we live in times where my phone can take clear pictures of craters on the moon, these cameras should at least be somewhat clear. COME ON FORD!!
Cant agree more Hunt! I spoke with my dealer today and they said they feel with the shortages they may have started using older cameras 🤷🏾♂️. Hopefully there’s a recall. Or aftermarket options. Congrats! Hopefully you didn’t have to wait too long.
Need a more powerfull motor. I want a heavy-duty truck. Superduty! Tow package. Much more than this. And decent milage with 3 fuel tanks to go much farther.
Gorgeous truck! My 2022 King Ranch is SUPPOSED to be built in a couple of weeks. Can't wait! I did the same thing when I ordered it..I clicked on what I wanted/needed (5th wheel hitch kit, spray on bed liner, etc). I guess we'll see what happens!
@@iAmMarchal Thanks! I got the Rapid Red/Stone Gray 2-tone. I put the order in in October! It's been delayed twice now so we'll see what happens! The VIN# got assigned so hopefully not too much longer!
@@paulmorris6177 yea that red is legit. If you have the vin now that’s a better indicator of completion. Got my fingers crossed for you. It’s an awesome truck!
@@iAmMarchal LOL! I've had my VIN for over a month. My production date has been pushed back twice. As a matter of fact, I just checked and there is no update. Fingers crossed as well...thanks! Enjoy the Raptor!!
I was a big time ford fan. Unfortunately i switched over to GMC when the new body style design changed in 2020. Its a beautiful truck all the details is astonishing. It looks more luxurious. The ford body style is plain and basic. And the 2022 Tundra is a great looking truck as well
Good video. I ordered a 22 F350 6.7 Platinum Tremor w/winch. Good to see real world experience with the 22 and nice to see them start being delivered. Mine is still not scheduled yet for production. Thank you for sharing
@@emiliojacaman690 awesome plan. Great use for these trucks. I’m looking at Four Wheel Camper and they come in around 1100 pounds unloaded. I should be way under my load. What are you looking at?
Thanks dbabber! I hadn’t heard about that possibility yet. Most consistent one has been the tires need to break in. How does the pro trailer influence this?
Nice video Marcus, I'm not a huge fan of pickup trucks, but this F350 looks aggressive and sexy. I may pick one up in the future because a truck is just so much versatile than a suv. Trailers and transporting stuff in the bed. Just throw on a topper and call it a day.
Thanks hardip singh! I agree its a big truck and definitely should be considered if one has big needs. I like a smaller truck but for what I do it just would not cut it. Good luck searching for yours. I'll be curious to hear what you end up with if you can recall this then.
Great truck. Ford definitely still needs to pick up the interior game on the superduty. But the screen is a start. And im actually looking at trucks identical to this one. Its between identical to this or identical to this but in platinum trim. Gota have the tremor package too for sure.
Great video! We’ve had a similar history with vehicles. I also live in CO. I’ve got a deposit down on a gen 3 raptor. But now I’m thinking tremor might be a nice alternative. Used to have a lifted 2015 SRW F350. Thanks again and great video!
Hello Sara’s. Glad you’re enjoying the vids. I’m curious what the Gen 3 Raptor will be like. I loved my Raptor when I had it. The only thing I didn’t like was the payload and tow capacity. Made it not very truck like. That and I had no desert to run it haha. If you end up getting that we will have to meet up and shoot some video on some comparisons. Maybe some 0-60 drag race haha. The tremor is nice too if you go with that. Just depends what you want to do with the truck.
You are spot on with the wireless charging pad. I have a Samsung Note 10+ and its a pain to set it on the wireless charger. They need to adjust that opening. Beautiful truck and great video!!!
Hi Tall And Handsome. Glad you’re enjoying them. I’ll keep em coming. Yea that 2018 will give you years of service still!!not to mention you bought it before this craziness. Hopefully haha. I miss those days.
Not sure what vehicles he’s talking about but the truck in the car I can see perfectly if there’s some kind a invisible vehicle that I don’t see then I don’t know this is just weird
@@ronp1018 I think they’re both great options. All boils down to personal preference and what you want to do with it. What’s your motivation for the Godzilla?
Beautiful truck...congratulations! An excellent and informative review too. I have been waiting 14+ months for my F350 Tremor. It's the same as yours except I have the 7.3L with 4.30 diff. I ordered it on 12/1/2021 and it's still not here. Ridiculous.
Thanks Finley! And yes we are living in pretty interesting times. Do you remember how you would drive through town and there would be as many as corn in a field. And dealers would beg you to buy them.
Thanks for the review Marcus. I believe the dealer can tighten up that steering slop. I’d ask them. There use to an adjustment for that. But these new rigs? Who knows.
Hi Wayne! Thank you! Next time I’m in for service I’ll ask. I think it’s all drive by wire now so not sure what they can do. Maybe change some algorithms or something. People also say it’s the tires etc.
i agree with what you said on the interior colors all being different. imagine buying a limited that gets grey interior door panels like an xlt, then blue and grey seats etc. or a king ranch with even more different colors. i dont understand the thinking behind it my self. i glad i picked the black interior like yours. it is the best color layout for ford in the superduties in the last 4 years. I believe the 2017 king ranch had a nice brown interior.
I agree Skeg rats atv. The black interior is my favorite. I had the H2 with a tan interior once and I got used to it after a while but not my preference.
I own a 2021 F350 Platinum. The one thing I would say about the leather steering wheel: It's a good quality leather. The reason it starts out "rough" is because over time the oils from your hands will saturate it, and the longer you drive the truck the more premium it will start to feel. As for the use of vinyl over inlays or leather? Ford has said they want to keep the utility of the truck. Vinyl is more work-friendly, especially in the Super Duty lineup. I don't see them going to more leather/inlay in the Super Duty lineup, but could see it happening in the F150.
Hi Brandon. Good to know. Thanks for sharing that! It’s also my understanding your platinum have a better leather in it the the Lariat 😞. Hope you’re enjoying your truck!!
Dark Wing Duck But if you got it would you be able to do farm stuff like you do with your current one. I feel like I have to wear mine in a bit before I ever beat it up after spending so much. Almost need 2 your farm one and your mall crawler haha. (loved that cartoon btw. The good ole days haha)
That play in the steering wheel is from your tires. Go to the Standard Michelin's instead of those big tremor tires and rims and then you will have the performance ability to cut in and out of lanes. This is the exact reason I am not going with a tremor package. King Ranch wheel's with the Michelin's on the street are 10X better for street and Highway handling. Maybe Ask your Ford dealership if you can try because your truck is new. Good Luck and enjoy, I having a hard time getting one, also did you have to custom order?
Hey Tom! I think I’ve heard the same on those tires elsewhere too. Not a bad idea. I like the Nitto or Toyo. When I change suspension I’ll get that probably. I was ordering then lucked out and found mine down the road from my house. A very crazy coincidence. They are a pain to find but if you search high and low sometimes you get an order that was rejected etc. Good luck on your search. Try small towns too!
Hey Marcus. I ordered my 2022 F350 Tremor 6.7 diesel back on November 6th 2021. Dealer said 4-5 months at that time. It didn't show in that time frame so I ordered a Ram 3500 Mega cab Cummins on May 20th 2022. My Ram showed up August 16th 2022 out of the blue. The very next day I get a tentative built date finally for the week of September 19th 2022. An up to date review would be great to see. If you could do it all over again would you order the 6.7 tremor again? Hows the 10 speed holding up? I'm debating if I should keep the Cummins or get rid of it when my Tremor shows up.
Hi Frank! Quite the conundrum you got there! I go through a lot of vehicles. So keep that in mind as I answer. I would drive the Ram till then. Plan on selling it. Or even trading it for more that you paid then get into the Tremor. It’s possible to do that in this market. Or buy it flip to someone waiting for theirs. Lots of options there. I love the way the Ford looks. Loved the power. Likely the best truck I’ve ever owned. I’d buy the Tremor again in a heart beat. That said. The rear camera sucked. 😅 I just got rid of my F350 to start some new projects I’m working on. Not because it wasn’t awesome. Just have too many vehicles. All this is my opinions and subjective. So up to you at the end.
Again, excellent video Marcus. To the point and very informative. Thanx. '22 MY KR Tremor F350 on order. Disappointed seeing the "Floating" and camera issues... Not happy about the cutting of corners just to get trucks on the road.
Thanks for the compliments Rick! Agreed. At the price points we are now paying its time they started paying better attention and giving us more bang for our buck. Range Rovers or whatever other premium brands cost that much and even less. You’re gonna love it regardless I think it’s a beast. And I’ve heard Carli suspension systems greatly improve handling. But then again that’s thousands!!
Awesome video! Great truck. Congratulations. Keep us posted on your truck and how it performs and any problems that arise. I’m looking at the Tremor, I just can’t decide between 150 or 250.
Thanks Richard! I absolutely will. So far it’s been excellent except for the camera but that’s been a thing since day 1. As far as 150 vs 250. I’d be tempted to get a 250. Especially the tremor coz I believe it comes with the extra spring which technically makes it a 350. Just the Tremor 250 has that. Of course it rides a bit stiffer than a 150 but if that’s not a big concern then bigger is better. Maybe a couple of extra dollars too. Ps. I know the 150 tremor is different from the 250. One is a trim and the other a package. Haven’t researched it a ton but worth looking into the differences. I don’t think they’re the same.
nice walk through... But if you are going to consider a winch with the stock bumper, do yourself a favor and just get the OEM ford winch for this truck. Solid Warn product, with an engineered winch cradle. You wont be disapointed and a DIY solution will be likely be both a pain in the a** and not nearly as stout. enjoy your new rig!
Great video. I agree with you that for the money one pays for this vehicle, some of the finer points in the details of the truck's interior should be improved upon. The cabin does look somewhat cheap. But the Ford has always looked that way. Ford should take a good look into the Ram interior and its trim lines to really get the message. I think you brought up a pretty good point about the camera's optics also and its quality for the money. Thankyou.
I don't think the cabin looks cheap- Toyota and Nissan's looks cheap. I don't think the Ford's interior is groundbreaking or pushing the bar by any means, but it's pretty standard pickup truck quality and the higher end trims with the brushed aluminum and wood trim look decent. Ram has a nicer interior but then its probably Ford after that, followed by GMC and so on. That said, I think Ram's interior is way overstylized, especially on the Limited Longhorn vs the King Ranch. The woman's jeans stitching all over the seats, barbed wire embossing and alligator scale stamped leather... oversized vertical infotablet Tesla copy... it's just too much for me. I also think Ford has way better controls, infotainment, overall reliability and build quality (they don't outsource half the parts like Dodge does).
Excellent review, thanks. Have you heard there is no load carrying capacity difference between the F250 and F350 Tremors...just different door jam badges? Seems illegal to me.
Hi David. I’ve heard this. I’ve never driven the 250 Tremor or seen the sticker first hand so I can’t speak definitively. I would love to hear from Ford themselves what the catch is.
The first time you pour DEF into your fuel tank, you will wish the DEF filler was not put in the same compartment. I know... I spent $401 to replace my fuel filters and clean out the system. No engine damage, but I was lucky.
Thanks Adventure Rhoades. I like that the 7.3 is the biggest engine in any gas truck on the road right now (in that class). What mileage you been seeing towing vs not. If you’ve had the chance to look or care.
@@iAmMarchal I haul a truck camper. 65-75 mph 9-10 mpg. If I kept it 55 or 60 guessing maybe 12. Towing probably 11 or 12 mpg. Driving empty 12-15.. I hit 16 once I need to try to take it easier again see if I can get it again
@@adventurerhoades yea. I think that’s about standard for most. There’s an app called Fuelly for MPG tracking. Their site also has mpg’s that are crowd sourced on most vehicles.
Worst part of the Wireless Car play is that the Trucks Wi-Fi will not connect to your phone while using it. I still have to plug in to utilize my trucks Wi-Fi
Just got my 2022 tremor yesterday and I’m shocked at how bad the cameras are. They are worse than crappy early 2000’s Google earth photos. The cameras on my 2021 f-150 are excellent
Hey Gravy Train! Congrats on the new truck. The camera is extremely disappointing. It's so bad. Never go backwards and you will love the truck lol. Seriously awesome truck otherwise!
@@iAmMarchal thanks! I wonder if there is a fix for it? I’d be curious if the cameras are the same part numbers as the ones on the f-150? It seems a lot worse than my 2019 f-450 as well. Definitely not a good surprise. Love the truck so far. Traded my 2022 ram 3500 HO in on it and the tremor is definitely night and day better minus the cameras. I wish I had both trucks to do a side by side comparison.
@@gravytrainoutdoors you’re as bad as me. Trading one new vehicle for another. Haha. I like your style though. You go for what’s best. Not for brands. I’d be curious to see that number too. I took mine to the dealer and they didn’t seem to have a fix or if one would come. I bet due to supply chains they started putting whatever was on hand.
@@iAmMarchal haha yes, I’ve bought a few too many trucks the last few years! I was thinking the same thing about the supply chain issues maybe forcing ford to source lesser quality cameras. My tremor is missing the dpf back pressure sensor and is also missing a modem or something required for the hotspot to work in the truck. The Ram was missing the same sensor in the dpf filter. I had to sign a waiver with both trucks regarding those missing parts. The Ram was a Laramie and other than the 12” uconnect system and camera on the tailgate, it had none of the typical features or driving safety features you would normally get on a higher trim level truck.
@@gravytrainoutdoors Yea. I’ve heard plenty of those waiver stories. Either you get it missing the part or no vehicle or you. Ram is supposed to have nicer interiors from what I hear. Do you agree as a previous owner?
Put some miles on your truck and the steering will slowly get better. When I picked up my 2022 platinum, the steering was terrible. But now it feels a whole lot better! Give it some time. Good luck.
@@iAmMarchal It's absolutely your tires that makes it really bad in the beginning... those duratracs, along with most aggressive tires, really float and wander for the first 1000 miles or so. Also, with any straight axle vehicle that uses a steering box as opposed to rack and pinion, will naturally be a bit looser.
@@thescott06 thanks for the info. I’m definitely starting to feel like it does wander less. Hoping it’s not just in my head. But even if it is I’m not feeling wandering so win win.

Great review. You mention BMW when talking about interior. I agree. HOWEVER as a BMW owner a 325,,,, expect oil leaks from engine around 50,000 miles. The "german engineering" is lacking. Your truck is amazing!!!
Hi Chris! Thank you! I usually get black vehicles and suffer through them never being clean etc. For the first time I got ceramic coat and I think it’s the only way to own a black vehicle if you’re picky about keeping it clean and swirl free. So yes I’m happy with the color. But I also think it looks good in the Grey and white and I even saw a red I liked. I don’t know that it comes in any objectionable colors. I have some videos here about the whole ceramic process. Maybe that will help.

Love these videos. I'm currently in the process of searching for a 2022 myself or deciding to just order one. I'm having a difficult time deciding weather to go with the Lariat ultimate package or a platinum. It's only about 2k difference in price when I built both the way I want them. My question is, with you clicking basically every option what made you decide to get the Lariat instead of platinum since I assume the price wouldn't be all that much difference?
63falconrs glad you’re enjoying the videos. For 2k you may as well go for it. For me it ended up being not wanting to deal with the chrome. I wanted it blacked out and this is what I came up with. Hey Marcus. I just found your video here ( and you ) for the first time. I watched because i was curious about this truck. I like Ford Raptor above all. ( I think when they come out, the GMC Hummers are going to be THEE BEST ALL AROUND ON AND OFF ROAD vehicles. ) I know you said you have one ordered already. What i got from this video was 2 things. 1- Ford as a company is really spreading itself thin! It makes a variety of the same main models, and over increases the prices for each level up. : / ( which is a real dick bag thing to be doing ) When they could save themselves alot of time and money, by simply making one all inclusive model for each vehicle type they are going to sell! Who doesnt want the BEST??? give all the options to that one model and just sell that one model per vehicle style. Instead of several of that one style with different options or packages. Do you understand what i mean? For example. Instead of all the different trucks with all the different options and packages?? just make ONE SUPER TRUCK! WITH EVERY POSSIBLE OPTION! and thats it. That will accommodate all the different TRUCK PEOPLE! With that one truck. AND MAKE AFFORDABLE FOR ANYONE TO BUY IF THEY WANTED IT. They would make much more money back in profit over the long run in sales. 2- the second thing i got from this video was how PARTICULAR AND SPECIFIC you are with the things you want! : / lol.. Thats fine. But then i thought, why dont you apply the idea you have with the whence? On everything else that you can? You said you were going to get the whence from ford but they were charging $3000 for it! : / ( greedy assholes ) When you can buy one better yourself and save $2000! I agree. And that is why i am suggesting you RETURN THIS TRUCK IMMEDIATELY! AND FIGURE OUT WHICH TRUCK PLATFORM YOU LIKE BEST? THEN BUY THE LOWEST COST MODEL OF THAT TRUCK, AND CUSTOMIZE IT TO YOUR LIKING!!!! : ) FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU WANTED THE FORD 350 PLATFORM? GET THE LOWEST PRICED FORD FLATBED TRUCK YOU CAN GET, IN THE YEAR YOU WANT IT IN, WITH NO OPTIONS AT ALL! NO PACKAGES! NO UPGRADES, NOTHING! JUST FORDS BASIC 2021 FLATBED TRUCK! : / lol.. THEN........ GET THE EXACT PAINT YOU WANT FROM AN OUTSIDE AUTOBODY SHOP! PUT TOGETHER YOUR OWN SUSPENSION DESIGN AND BUY ALL THE PARTS AND HAVE A OFF ROAD SPECIALTY SHOP PUT IT TOGETHER AND INSTALL IT FOR YOU! GET THE AFTER MARKET SEATS YOU WANT! THE TIRES AND RIMS YOU WANT. ADD ALL THE OUTSIDE LIGHTING AND CAMERAS YOU WANT! HAVE THE FLATBED SEALED AND PAINTED WITH PROTECTIVE COATING ( WHICH YOU WOULD DO WHEN YOU GOT THE TRUCK PAINTED WHATEVER COLOR YOU WANTED ) SEE WHAT I AM SAYING HERE? IT WOULD COST YOU MORE THAN HALF LESS TO MAKE YOUR OWN CUSTOM TRUCK MADE! THAN THIS TRUCK COST YOU! THE ONLY POTENTIAL DOWN SIDE WOULD BE WAITING FOR IT TO BE ALL PUT TOGETHER AND BE FINISHED. UNLESS YOU TOOK THE NEW TRUCK YOU WOULD GET TO A SPECIALTY SHOP THAT CUSTOMIZES VEHICLES FOR PEOPLE? THEN YOU WOULD WORK ON THE BUILD WITH THEM, AND THEY WOULD GET ALL THE PARTS AND BUILD IT ALL FOR YOU THERE IN THEIR SHOP. BUT! THAT WOULD COST EXTRA! IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR, MORE COST EFFECTIVE IF YOU GOT THE TRUCK, TOOK IT TO BE PAINTED, THEN GOT ALL THE PARTS YOU WANTED YOURSELF, AND TOOK THEM ALL TO A SHOP TO BE INSTALLED. THIS WAY YOU ARE ONLY PAYING FOR THE PARTS, AND LABOR SEPARATELY.. AS OPPOSED TO ONE FIXED "PACKAGED PRICE".. IF YOU CAN FIND A CHEAPER FIXED PRICE FOR ALL THE WORK AND PARTS IN ONE PLACE? GO FOR IT.. BUT I DONT THINK YOU WILL.. Ok, i think i have said all i wanted to say here. lol..... All the best!
Hi Rocky. Longest comment ever. Haha. A lot of good and valid suggestions in there. I like the idea of build one from scratch but there’s some things that are better factory and they make I get certain packages to get those items. It’s a trap. Haha. I like the Raptor too. Had the 2020 model. Very happy with it. Just wasn’t excited about it tow/payload for my purposes. I once picked up sod no more than a pallet and it squatted sooo bad. That’s the only reason I don’t have it now. Just needed something more powerful in that respect. In an ideal world I’d have both. But anyway…thanks for stopping by and commenting!!
Hey Marcus, thanks for showing your new rig! I'm still rolling in my 1997 F250 7.3L Powerstroke with 260K miles. If I ever manage to kill it, your vid shows me what I'll go for!
Hi Jefe! Those things last forever. You may never get another truck haha.
You’re welcome. Glad you found the vids useful.
that 7.3 has another 250 in it :)
Life is short. Imagine your truck with two 7.3's in it. That's how strong the newer ones are. I loved my 2000 7.3, but they are in a different universe than a 2017 or newer.
Thanks for the real review! Looking at a 2020 f350 tremor lariat and this answered a bunch of my questions!
You’re welcome Joe! Glad to assist. It’s a heck of a truck.
Outstanding review… realistic and detailed, backed up with examples supporting your identifiable discrepancies of the vehicle…
Thank you for this review, you helped me out with my 2022 F-350 LX….👍👍
Thanks Erik i love hearing things like that. It’s why i do it.
Hi Neo. Ok that makes more sense than that they put incandescent bulbs. Although with these people I wouldn’t be surprised. Thanks for the info!!
@@natehawkins2910 I’ll check him. I know I got the option to manual regen as well.
Thank you for explaining the trailer brakes! I've asked several people and know one knew.
Hi John! You are welcome! Have a good day!!
No dually rear axle.
Need a more powerfull motor. I want a heavy-duty truck. Superduty! Tow package. Much more than this. And decent milage with 3 fuel tanks to go much farther.
That's horrible, 80, 90 k for a truck and crappy grainy older cameras they are just plain ripping us off.
@@Beefycheddermelt agreed! I’m hoping for a recall sooner rather than later. Also going to put a letter in to Ford.
Thank you Paul! Glad to hear you’re close to yours as well. What color did you go for? How long have you been waiting??
@@iAmMarchal Thanks! I got the Rapid Red/Stone Gray 2-tone. I put the order in in October! It's been delayed twice now so we'll see what happens! The VIN# got assigned so hopefully not too much longer!

I was a big time ford fan. Unfortunately i switched over to GMC when the new body style design changed in 2020. Its a beautiful truck all the details is astonishing. It looks more luxurious. The ford body style is plain and basic. And the 2022 Tundra is a great looking truck as well
Tundra is a great truck. But it's not a f350 if you wanted to haul 3500 lbs in the box
Thank you for sharing, Marcus. Nicely done.
Absolutely! Thanks for the note Bob!!
Good video. I ordered a 22 F350 6.7 Platinum Tremor w/winch. Good to see real world experience with the 22 and nice to see them start being delivered. Mine is still not scheduled yet for production. Thank you for sharing

@@emiliojacaman690 it absolutely will be. They don’t call it the Godzilla engine for nothing!!
I plan on doing a truck camper like yourself so watch your payload on your truck when you are shopping for yours.
@@emiliojacaman690 awesome plan. Great use for these trucks. I’m looking at Four Wheel Camper and they come in around 1100 pounds unloaded. I should be way under my load. What are you looking at?
Sweet video? From what I understand the play in the steering wheel is because of the pro trailer back up assist.
Thanks dbabber! I hadn’t heard about that possibility yet. Most consistent one has been the tires need to break in.
How does the pro trailer influence this?
Great spec and color. Congrats on the new truck
Thank you William!
That truck looks awesome, nice job!
Thanks MTM!!
Great truck. Ford definitely still needs to pick up the interior game on the superduty. But the screen is a start. And im actually looking at trucks identical to this one. Its between identical to this or identical to this but in platinum trim. Gota have the tremor package too for sure.
Agreed Built Diesel!! As for platinum. I heard the finish is way more premium. So you may be onto gold if you get that!!
@@iAmMarchal same. I had a 2018 raptor after the super duty. When I get the Gen 3 I will let you know for sure

Nice video! I agree with the cameras, mine just sucks!
Thanks Jerry! I know right!? Maybe there’ll be a software upgrade/recall or something.
Thanks Marcus,
Good and informative information for those of us thinking about getting one. I certainly hope they fix the camera issue.
Hi Lahave! Absolutely! Glad to provide it and awesome you found it useful.
You should consider the Godzilla engine instead of a diesel…
Not sure what vehicles he’s talking about but the truck in the car I can see perfectly if there’s some kind a invisible vehicle that I don’t see then I don’t know this is just weird

@@iAmMarchal Yep. They'd say "Come on down! We'll beat any price!" Now they just beat themselves.

Thanks Angel! That engine is pretty amazing isn’t it!!
i agree with what you said on the interior colors all being different. imagine buying a limited that gets grey interior door panels like an xlt, then blue and grey seats etc. or a king ranch with even more different colors. i dont understand the thinking behind it my self. i glad i picked the black interior like yours. it is the best color layout for ford in the superduties in the last 4 years. I believe the 2017 king ranch had a nice brown interior.
I agree Skeg rats atv. The black interior is my favorite. I had the H2 with a tan interior once and I got used to it after a while but not my preference.
Thats my next truck!! Exactly the same!

Thanks for the honest review!
Absolutely Kris! Glad to offer it.
The longer the more cracked it'd have like all their crappy Azzaro leather seats
Sweet rig! I want something similar in white with blackout package!
I know a couple of people with the blacked out white. It’s pretty sweet. Dare I say better than the black.
my 5.9 has a farm truck interior with 220K, but i drool over these new trucks
@@iAmMarchal Thank you, Do the Michelin's before you even do the suspension, you might be Surprised.
@@tomb375 Thanks. Not a bad idea. I like stepping things up so you know what did what.
I just got rid of my F350 to start some new projects I’m working on. Not because it wasn’t awesome. Just have too many vehicles.
All this is my opinions and subjective. So up to you at the end.
Should come factory equipped with Carli/King for that price.
Umm yes!!! Instead you gotta pay another 10k for Carli.
Best thing about those running boards is when people park next to you and swing their doors open. They'll hit the boards and your truck will be safe
Ah yes! That is the best thing! Door dings drive me crazy. Some people just aren’t careful. Or mistakes happen. Either way it’s a ding.
Yes…. first thing I realized when buying a new F150 Raptor few months ago! No concern parking haha
@@Odb_45 Looks like we are chasing the same cars. Agreed on the Raptor. I did the same when I got mine. Tested it on a few cars.
Love the big screen.
Me too! A welcomed change.
nice walk through...
Great advice thanks Garrett! I'll likely do that.
Thankyou.
Thanks Stephen! All little things that are easily fixed and curious why they aren’t. Always a wonder why that is.
Nice very nice im not a Ford guy but I love this one you did good bro
Thanks Gary!! Not a Ford guy either. Or any brand for that matter. Just depends what’s doing it for me at a given time. What’s your brand?

Your stirring should get better when you ware down the tires some. Great review.
Thanks Miles. Second time I’ve heard a similar explanation. That’s good!!
Looks good and clean black on black is good
Put some miles on your truck and the steering will slowly get better. When I picked up my 2022 platinum, the steering was terrible. But now it feels a whole lot better! Give it some time. Good luck.
Hi Steve. I’m curious why that is and look forward to that being the case. At what mileage did you notice it get better?
@@iAmMarchal It's absolutely your tires that makes it really bad in the beginning... those duratracs, along with most aggressive tires, really float and wander for the first 1000 miles or so. Also, with any straight axle vehicle that uses a steering box as opposed to rack and pinion, will naturally be a bit looser.
@@thescott06 thanks for the info. I’m definitely starting to feel like it does wander less. Hoping it’s not just in my head. But even if it is I’m not feeling wandering so win win.

Fishhooks lol. Absolutely agree. In an ideal world there is an M8 in the garage. More realistic though maybe a regular 8 series coupe.

Great review. You mention BMW when talking about interior. I agree. HOWEVER as a BMW owner a 325,,,, expect oil leaks from engine around 50,000 miles. The "german engineering" is lacking. Your truck is amazing!!!
Thanks Steven!! And yea German vehicles after warranty expires should be avoided. In my experience.
Great review Marcus! Are you happy with the color? Getting ready to order one but can't decide on a color.
Hi Chris!
Marcus, what does your payload stick show and what does the hitch sticker show for towing?
Thanks in advance.
My payload shows 3258 and I’ll have to look at the hitch.
How many miles on your rig now? I picked up my 22 F350 crew cab long bed about 4 months ago. I like the transmission but I don’t love it unloaded.
Yes. It’s a bit bouncy unloaded. It’s happiest carrying weight. I just recently got the RAM 2500. It’s got coil springs in the rear. Rides really nice.
@@iAmMarchal 👍🏻 I sold my 2018 ram 2500 Cummins. Loved the truck but my sun roof failed during a storm and it destroyed my interior. Needless to say I built a garage with a shop before I bought my new truck.

Thanks crueljimi! It’s been treating me well so far. The dual lay does add more heft but i’m already good with SRW heft for my applications.
I see single wheel 350’s all the time
Hey Marcus, are you in Littleton? I see your background and those houses look familiar. I’m in Sterling Ranch. I ordered the 2022 F350 Platinum 7.3L with Tremor package. Let me know so maybe we can get together and take them off-road. Just got my VIN yesterday and should be delivered by mid-November.
Video was shot close to there. Congrats on getting your vin. Let me know when it comes in we can get a caravan going on some trails.
Did ford resolve the collapsing axle housing and scab repair solution on those ?
Hi Elanor. My understanding it was on vehicles with a May or March 2021 (give or take) manufacture date according to the bulletin. My vehicle was manufactured after that particular date. So hopefully/allegedly it’s fine.

I just ordered mine a couple weeks ago. F250 platinum. I wonder if the cameras are a hair better in the platinums and limited??? maybe not just a thought
Very cool! How long will it take to get? And no I don’t think the Camera is trim specific. I think they’re bad across the board. Maybe they ran out of the good cams along with chips due to supply chain issues. 🤷🏾♂️. I’m trying to find out from Ford to see what’s gonna happen.
@@iAmMarchal that’s true it most likely isn’t trim specific. They said it will most likely be here around end of the year latest beginning of next year.
@@HunterRobinsonthrows95 got my fingers crossed for end of year or sooner for you! And maybe even then they’ll replace the cam.

inflate the tires closer to max pressure to clean up steering slop
Hi William! They’re at factory PSI right now. I feel like more pressure would make it ride harder. Most suggest lowering from factory psi to get a better ride. Thoughts?
Awesome truck

@@iAmMarchal 👍
Well done!
Thanks LCJR!
Nice video. Curious question for ya. Do any of the camera work in motion (above 6MPH), I have heard the bed cam and if installed aux trailer cam will. Thanks!
Hi Ryan! Thank you! I know the bed cam works at speed as will the aux. I have personally used the bed cam to watch cargo on the hwy. Aux I believe I read that. And as for the other cameras no they do not work at speed.
@@iAmMarchal thanks for the info!
@@Ironmaan82 Ryan. Correction. The camera turns off when you start moving but you can turn it on again and it stays on. You have less modes available. I’ll do a video and post today or tomorrow.
@@iAmMarchal thanks that would be super helpful. My truck is ordered, and I’m looking into getting a wireless camera hooked up to it. I plan to tap into the +/- camera feed in the 12 pin wiring harness, but I was hoping for video in motion, I know the 2020 and older don’t support that. I have been looking into other option also, like Nav-Tv and Navic…thanks!
Ps. The platinum leather is also allegedly higher grade so maybe another reason for you to go that route. I’m happy with mine though.
@@iAmMarchal I 100% agree with this statement. I work for Ford/Lincoln and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 2022 F-350 Lariat Rapid Red with every option as well. I considered the platinum but the chrome is a huge turn off for me. If they would do the platinum with blacked out badging I would have went that route.
@@iAmMarchal Thanks for the reply! I pulled the trigger today and ordered an f250 platinum in carbonized grey. I'm not personally a huge fan of chrome either but I also really enjoy modifying vehicles so I may end up doing some paint matching of some of the chrome parts like the mirror caps and emblems. I'm excited to get this truck!
@@63falconrs I think you’re gonna love it. And it’ll be unique after your custom work. So another win there. Hope you get it soon. I have a Facebook group I created with people waiting on their trucks. May be a good place for you to hangout. facebook.com/groups/282337030002870/?ref=share

How’s the adaptive steering feel on the highway? Does it feel loose or tight?
Scott. I actually do not have the adaptive steering. I wonder how that would feel as well.

@@iAmMarchal I'm pretty sure you have adaptive steering. Its included in the trailer backup assist. Or the very least you have the electronic steering motor for it.
@@dp5430 I don’t think so but I could be wrong. I know when building you can choose the trailer pro backup etc and still choose adaptive steering separate of leave it checked. This is in the 2022 F350. It may be the case for other offerings 🤷🏾♂️
What made you go 6.7 vs 7.3 ?
Hi Weatherherk. The numbers on the diesel on both Torque and HP are higher and I needed the most capable truck I could buy. I like being able to not think about if I can tow something and I did not mind paying the 10k for the diesel. I've been very happy with my purchase so far. Its an amazing truck.
What is MSRP for this track?
When did you put in your order?
Just lucked out and found one actually.
Might want to switch your front hubs to auto
I think they are actually set to auto. The positioning seems weird I know but when you look closer it’s fine. I appreciate the looking out though.
Did you change to black exaust
No I did not.
My truck has been in the shop for a week. Getting rear and front brake assist not available. Anyone else getting this message? Told them to keep it for a week as I am on vacation. Still no luck as of today 21 sept. Just 4 mos old. Truck is great except for that so far. Maybe going to a 2022 tundra. I get back Friday and if it is not fixed will be looking at other options, maybe a Chevy 2022. A lot of money for today’s trucks and sidelined by a computer error code.
I am not. But sounds complicated if they can’t figure it out still. Please share final result.
Tundra seems to be less truck if you have a super duty doesn’t it? I’ve had the 2017 I like the looks and drove it problem free.
Chevy is making some nice trucks too.
I do t think you can go wrong with any of them. They aren’t to far from each other.
Will do. As of today it was a front camera issue. Find it hard that it took a week and a half to narrow down. Hopefully that is it and I can move on
@@Vincente8791 hmm. Weird. But with electronic depending on how they set up all the systems to work together it may very well be that.

@@brewcrewfishing lol. Good thing we left a light on for you. Welcome back!!
I like that though you’re not beholden to a brand. You’re just a guy who likes the best truck available.
@@iAmMarchal : / THAT IS WHAT I WAS SAYING!! YOU CAN HAVE BOTH! YOU JUST HAVE TO MODIFY/CUSTOMIZE! WHY WASTE YOUR MONEY AND NOT BE HAPPY ANYWAY????
