Have you tried Aveeno? The brand is affordable and of good quality.
I don’t know, I switched from the Josie pre retinol body cream to the advanced clinicals retinol and I’m never looking back

Dr. Dray did a video on this, I actually just orders one of her recommendations.
I personally just put a little bit of the ordinary 2% retinol into a simple lotion dilute it and put it on my body
Most Eucerin products have AHA, but I don’t like the idea of having to be afraid of the sun due to certain chemicals making you sensitive. Which sucks because the Eucerin Advanced Therapy feels great on the skin for its price.
@@gioplease6848 but those contain lactic acid, and I believe only Glycolic acid makes you more sensitive to the sun
@@Catb3333 there’s a warning On most Eucerin lotions saying to use sunscreen for 7 days after using the product because it contains AHA.
It's great to see this... I have also treated myself. Weedborn oils have helped me a lot.

I used a couple of their other lotions before(coconut oil and the hyaluronic one) and I was so surprised to actually see her talk about them! Now I want to try the Retinol too, but I’m going to wait a little bit since I’m pregnant right now 😅

My favorite body lotion is CereVe Moisturizing Cream. Seriously doesn’t feel oily and I NEVER have to re-apply. I live in New Mexico (the desert) and so dry climate and this works the best!😊

I love how well thought out and balanced this video is. A few pricey products if you want to treat yourself, and a couple really affordable yet excellent products. Sometimes we want something fancy, sometimes we just want something cheap that works.
Amlactin daily lotion with AHA has transformed my dry skin!! I use it at night before bed and use sunscreen in the am after I shower. It stings a little if I shave before but my skin is so soft and the tone is so even and glowy!
Solution to annoying tubes: once you can't squeeze anything out, cut it in half and scoop the contents out with your fingers, then keep it in a Tupperware. It'll prevent it from drying out.
I loveeeee cetaphil Moisturizing cream for the face. It use to be marketed as a face moisturizer before cetaphil stared coming out with all those shitty face products. I swear that cream can like heal your face in a day if you’ve ever overdone it with actives. *chefs kiss*
I’ve been using the Nivea, essentially enriched 48hr with deep nourishing serum & almond oil, body lotion for the last couple of years and looooove it. Especially during winter time.
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost body gel cream and the Hydro Boost Overnight hydration cream are HG body moisturizers!

I am using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Helioplex Sunscreen but, I still tend to get tanning!
@@Akshay-08 are you applying enough, or do you spend a lot of time in the sun? Even if I put on sunscreen on my face and body but am still outside a lot, I'll still get a slight tan.
@@kendallstark4302 yes! I apply generously. A week ago, my dermatologist prescribed me Heliocare Water Gel broad spectrum with SPF 50+ sunscreen which is pretty expensive so I didn’t bought it.

In addition, she also prescribed me oral sunscreen and recommended to take 2 tablets a day i.e., 1 tablet in the morning 30 minutes before going out and 1 in the afternoon.

Therefore, as I wanted to give it a try I bought oral sunscreen.
@@Akshay-08 I tried the Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 50 and honestly I’m not a fan of it. Not for me. Besides that the only other Neutrogena SPF I’ve tried is a spray sunscreen which I use for reapplication when I’m kinda lazy. Anyone can still get tan even while wearing sunscreen. Even if you apply a liberal amount and reapply every 2 hours you can still get a tan.

I love the Vaseline Extremely Dry Skin Rescue (the one in the bottle). It has helped so much with my keratosis pilaris.
Eucerin! It's SO underrated. Urea is one of the best ingredients that truly helps soften and moisturize resilient body skin. I like Sheseido too! They have a urea body milk that just works like a charm!

You should try La Roche Posay Lipikar lotion or their AP Balm. By far my favorite moisturizer👏🏾
cerave but specifically the one for rough and bumpy skin. It has salicylic acid, and it especially helps me in areas where I'm itchy or I tend to have bumps due to shaving. It has helped me so much !

I swear by the Bioderma one! I got the recommendation from her awhile ago and I’m so glad I went and bought it. I use it on my face mostly. My rosacea is practically gone since using it.

I love any of the GoldBond body lotions! They've got great humectants, like glycerin & hyaluronic acid, plus occlusives, like petroleum, silicone, coconut oil, shea/cocoa butter etc. They are perfect for putting on wet skin & last a long time. Their healing aloe & radiance renewal ones are my fav, but all of them are pretty good!
I have been Nécessaire for my face and it works just fine! I love caking on moisturizer all over my body right out of the shower, so I knew the bottle size would not justify the price tag but would work it worth on my face.
I really like using oils but with them alone I felt that it just easily transfers to what I touch against so I starting mixing Nivea Intense Healing body lotion with Palmers Cocoa butter skin therapy oil and I’m obsessed!!! I definitely want to try cetaphils body lotion next ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!
Aveeno Skin Relief Cream in the jar
I can’t live without it, it’s my one product pick and it’s only 10ish bucks.
If you’re not allergic to the ingredients, it is the best for sensitive skin and you can even use it on your face!
I have dry itchy skin yet i love showering with hot water twice a day. I use cerave lotion and i like it but it would be fun to switch up sometimes. Bioderm sounds like a good one!
Pyunkang Yul ATO cream is god tier for body and face. I use it for both in the winter

I love Nivea Essentially Enriched for a moisturizing body lotion that doesn’t break the bank!
My Holy Grail body lotion is Keihls Creme De Corps. I’ve used this for at least 10 years, I’ve tried many others but always go back to this. Skin is really soft and dewy. I also use it on my scalp and as a beard balm.
Cetaphil is amazing! I use it for both my babies! My first born has bad eczema and Cetaphil is the only thing that helps him! ❤ I also love how it feels too not too oily or sticky!

I am an avid Susan Yara fan, she has steered NO wrongs so I KNEW lotions or hydrators for the body were on their way! i’m so glad we can have conversations nowadays about rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis bc... i’ve never had eczema flare ups as bad as I do NOW. my skin this winter has been SO dehydrated and my eczema has been so SENSITIVE, and yet all the creams have left my skin SO dry! i’m really excited for the bioderma lotion that Susan recommended, so THANK YOU SUSAN and the WHOLE team at mixed makeup!

i love the retinol body lotion from advanced clinicals, has ofher amazing in ingredients too like green tea and is fragrance free (+ affordable and is on iherb so accessible too)

My favorite is lipikar from Laroche posay and they just came out with a new eco friendly packaging in a tube. Because the one in the pump is good but because it’s so thick when you almost at the bottom it’s a pain to get what’s left. So now I can scrap everything out of the tube ! 😂

Josie Maran whipped Argan oil (sweet citrus) and Lancome (Nutrix Royal Body) The Lancome one is sooo lux 😊

I have been using Bioderma for years , I love it . Even my father loves it because it stopped his itching because of his diabetes 👌🏻🤗
My favourite is the Aveeno daily lotion(fragrance free) for the day and Aveeno skin relief moisture repair cream for the night. Also really like Body Shop's body butters, especially the almond milk & honey one.

I love that Cetaphil cream! I always go back to it. I also really like the Hempz body lotions whenever I want to treat myself!

I love the cerave SA moisturizing cream (comes in a Tub) world great for people with roughy or bumpy skin !

I like Tree Hut Body Butter with Shea Butter. It's a great affordable product for dry skin and it comes in various scents.
Hi Susan I’m loving your products, Naturium ☺️ I have very dry itchy skin because of keratosis pilaris, so I started using Aveeno Eczema Therapy, body lotion and shower lotion 🧴 as well. I’m not saying it’s the best out there, but it has helped with itchiness and dry skin. I would like to try the Bioderma next time I need to buy more. Thank You for your video.
My favorite lotion is from First Aide Beauty. I have normal skin but winter it cracks and it’s dry so I don’t want a lot of fragrance in my body lotions.
Thanks for mentioning that the lotion is good for Psoriasis! I suffer from Psoriasis and very few people recommend products for it.
Evolve Organic Beauty 360 Smoothing Body Contour Cream is a beautiful one for me
I have dry skin like you, Susan, so I will give these a try, if they're available in the UK. I started using Aveeno after Dr Dray recommended it and their hand cream and body cream for dry skin are great. I also have been using The Body Shop pure shea butter and it is great, if you're staying at home in your comfy clothes 😊

I have really dry skin especially on my hands and I love the cetaphil moisturizing cream, and the body butters from tree hut!
Favorite body lotion for me is neutrogena hydroboost overnight lotion ( specifically overnight) it’s life changing

I have really dry skin on my legs all year around, but especially during the winter months. I love Kiehl’s Creme de Corps
I have super dry skin and am Alegric to ceramides so I use the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey &Yogurt Skin Renewal Recipe Body Yogurt.
Love the necessarie body serum as well it’s also pricey but I love putting it on under my lotion 😉
I didn’t get into body lotions until this past summer but I’ve really been loving the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lotion. It’s so lightweight and leaves me skin feeling and looking so nourished and healthy.

Bioderma is very versatile that enyone can use. It is gental and soothing.
I’d love to see a video on unfragranced and safe lotion for babies and children. So many lotions have fragrance that irritate my baby’s skin. A few in particular had such strong fragrance that I had to toss them! Maybe some videos on safe and effective physical sunblock and baby washes for babies and children.

Aquaphor and Cerave. I love Aquaphor on my really dry areas and Cerave for all over. Cetaphil is nice if Cerave isn’t available

I love the Bioderma Atoderm intensive baume on my face and body. They don't sell the 500ml version in UK though - sad times.
Necessaire has a poor rating for having bad chemicals (Yuka app = lifesaver). The body wash received a rating of “poor” because it contained endocrine disruptors that may effect hormones and fertility. - just FYI. Wish I would have known before I bought three of their products (eucalyptus body wash, body lotion and body exfoliant)

Kerasal! It’s got petrolatum, salicylic acid & glycerin as the main ingredients. Work it in after a bath or foot soak & then put on your socks. Depending on the state of your feet 🦶 they should improve within a week of consistent use.
What lotion is good for body acne?
Probably something not too occlusive and that has BHA, like the cerave one for rough and bumpy skin.
